If there’s one thing that can DIVIDE, it’s children running free…
Through restaurants while people dine, disrupting others’ dinner,
And parents who sit idly by? For sure not “parent winners”…
And WEAKLY made excuses? They really don’t say much,
You take your kids with you to dine? They need to come in clutch…
So here we see some goats and pigs, and no one needs to flinch,
(I’ll stick in here today’s last word…we’re not seeing a FINCH)
The bottom line, it’s nice to dine out calm and worry free..
And places like this fit the bill…because they’re KID FRIENDLY! 🐐
Family restaurants…all well and GOOD…as long as your KIDS are!
So…We’re dining at a “Red Barn”, https://tinyurl.com/mvha2c7k Restaurant, (but to me, HARE today, I’m thinking of it as the “OLD MCDONALDS” restaurant…as CORNy as it may sound)…and we see Billy Goat, his wife, DOElores, and his two KIDS seated at a table…while what may be another of his kids is seen OUTBACK, with his head in a bowl that’s placed atop an apple crate. The kids are amusing themselves drawing…while Mom and Dad are enjoying what seems to be a can of beer (although it could be corn), and an adult beverage of some kind, respectively. Jeff’s Gems? The kid with the PEN in his hand is a lefty, and he’s drawing a goat…If you look real closely, you can see that DOE’s drinking from a “Ball” Mason jar… https://tinyurl.com/mrx8x8pf …nice “twist”…The waitress is a chicken, and if you look real closely again, you’ll see that her name tag reads “Flo”. https://tinyurl.com/yc2hxuv2 And she’s carrying an ear of corn and a beet. The kid across from Bill is wearing a “Red Barn” replica paper hat, he drew a stick man in a hat, he’s seated upon a large empty can of corn, and he’s eating pizza!…Pizza!…Most likely he’s the KIDder in the family that usually gets their goat… And then we have two pigs, Father and son at the “salad bar”…the piglet with his tail wiggling in anticipation of dining on the debris on tap …And being the HAM that I am when it comes to puns, I was chomping at the bit to say, “SOW, a little more of the kid friendly”…but I ended up being BOARed to see it was a male…TROUGH break for me, I guess…🤷🏻♀️
So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And as I mentioned earlier, it’s nice to see a family dining out, with children that are well behaved..instead of running around on a RAMpage! 🐐 🙋🏻♀️
🤦🏻♂️The new KID FRIENDLY fast food restaurant, named FINCH, had a sign that they unfortunately decided to DRILL into the wall, that read, “WEAKLY Specials”…and it definitely caused a DIVIDE between the printer and the owners…🤦🏻♂️
🤷🏻♂️He found a tiny little FINCH had fallen from its nest,
It WEAKLY tried to fly away, but stopped as if to rest…
He wondered if the noise from his toy DRILL frightened it just now,
He felt a DIVIDE in his thoughts…he’d like to help…but how?
Unsure of what to do to get the bird back in the tree…
He took a deep breath hoping that its Mom was KID FRIENDLY!🤷🏻♂️
OMG ! I’m getting me some tacos ! Todays jumble is following in the same path as yesterdays ! The anagrams were right there for me ! As soon as I saw goat and a restaurant that catered to them , the first word that came out was FRIENDLY and that left KID ! No way was this one Baaaaad ! And I’m not Kid ding ! What a great one for a taco-Tuesday! Everyone have a great one today !!!!!!
Missed an easy blind solve this morning….thought first word might be ALL or something like that. Kid was not in my morning lexicon of words. Easy anagrams gave way to fast solve, just like Jim. Thanks for sharing a song from Bye Bye Birdie….although Paul Lynde is sometimes over the top !!! We’ll enjoy a warm Tuesday before some cold weather hits Wednesday. Thanks for pointing out all the cartoon nuances….you’re the best !!
