    🖌While some kids had a favorite TRUCK, some others chose to draw,
    They’d SCROLL through all the comics and marvel at what they saw…
    Their young minds like a FLASK would fill…these JUNIOR artists they,
    And dream that they could be like him…the man we see today
    Charles Schulz became a legend, with his graphic bailiwick…
    And here it’s Lucy, once again…acting up JUST FOR KICKS! 🖌

    Best known for his iconic comic strip, Peanuts, https://tinyurl.com/yc6skvss with its just as iconic main character, Charlie Brown, https://tinyurl.com/ye2yxtuz , Mr Schulz endeared himself to generations of readers…and the love story continues still…And today we see Jeff, who like so many of his fellow cartoonists felt the influence of Mr Schulz, and the recurring saga of Charlie Brown, Lucy and the Football… https://tinyurl.com/yc4yvhd2 Charlie never got to KICK that Football…and Lucy enjoyed fooling him…every time… https://tinyurl.com/39dpd3we JUST FOR KICKS… https://tinyurl.com/2ykuxu7r

    And we see Jeff, wearing a Snoopy “Joe Cool” tee, holding what reads…”Jeff’s Sketch Book”, with a smile drawn beneath the title, while the comic panel Mr Schulz is drawing reads…from Lucy, ”I’ll hold the ball, Charlie Brown, and you come running up and kick it”, …and Charlie, the perpetual optimist replying, “Ok, it’s a deal”…But foiled once again, we hear Charlie’s ubiquitous, “Augh”! Good ol’ Charlie Brown indeed…

    So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and while we may have a certain fondness for Lucy, it’s Charlie Brown, the sweet, lovable, vulnerable child who’s taught us to never give up…To Charlie…and to Mr Schulz…Happy Birthday…May you ever rest in power and peace…🖌🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. 🛻They found the FLASK with the image of a TROLL in the back of the TRUCK, and decided to tease JUNIOR about it…JUST FOR KICKS…🛻

    🧌He wrote a book about a TROLL, a JUNIOR group in mind,
    The cover showed a little troll, a FLASK he stood behind…
    The troll lived in his neighbor’s TRUCK…how he pulled off the trick…
    The basis of the story…did he live there JUST FOR KICKS? 🧌

  6. Saw a possible “J” in the last anagram, so thought it could be JUST FOR XXXXX, but laughs didn’t work- too long. After unscrambling first word, saw the “K” and that put everything together nicely for a semi-blind solve. Your song is sooo very infectiously energetic. Nice Saturday Jumble !!!

  7. End of the week Saturday ! I got all the anagrams pretty good ! The jumble required a lot of thinking into the cartoon , with the page Lucy was asking Charlie Brown about letting her hold the ball , then she moved it when he was ready to kick it which was JUST FOR KICKS ! But I didn’t see the cartoon until I saw the answer ! Kind of a hard one that required a lot of studying the cartoon and reading all of what they were saying ! But I saw it and it was cool ! Good ol song Angela ! Why’s everybody always picking on me ! Everyone have a great end of the week Saturday !

  8. A clean sweep of all today,anagrams and a quick blind solve of the obvious cartoon. Definitely a favorite of the Schultz cartoons!

    Tales of children and stories of fate…
    And “Peanuts” stole our hearts,
    Setting Charles Schulz apart…
    Comic genius that wouldn’t abate…🖌

    🏈With a football he used as a prop,
    Mr Schulz had a storyline tops…
    There’d be Lucy to tease,
    Never Charlie to please…
    As we’d see him continually flop! 🏈

    👧🏻Through the years Mr Schulz brought us joy,
    With the stories of his girls and boys…
    With pianos and dance,
    We would see these kids prance…
    And he proved to be the real McCoy! 👦🏻

    👍🏻Optimism the name of the game,
    And the storyline shortly became…
    One that we took to heart,
    Pretty much from the start…
    Hoping Charlie Brown would gain his fame…👍🏻

    👏🏻👏🏻Mr Schulz today it’s all ‘bout you,
    As we try to give what is your due…
    Happy Birthday, kind Sir,
    The years will not deter…

  12. Good evening. I trust everyone had a great thanksgiving like I had with family and friends. My neighbor gave me all my papers and I was able to do todays jumble with relative ease as well as the cartoon answer. Once I saw the double ks the answer was easy to get. Loved the song choice Angela. That was a fun show to watch. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
