  1. Good Morning, Everyone 🦫TO KEEP FROM GETTING INTO A RUT! 🦫

🎶 GO FOR IT…I’ve always thought I’ve got, give it your best shot…Don’t ever think about tryin’ to stop…Keep reaching, pushing, hoping for perfection…Make up your direction…GO FOR IT…🎶 “Go For It” – Joey Ellis & Tynetta Hare 1990 https://tinyurl.com/bdhcj5ux

🦫 He first thought his chances SPOTTY, but really didn’t GRIPE,
Things might have seemed a tad THORNY, but he was of the type…
That would enter a DERBY…if it meant a better life,
And we can see quite plainly here, he wants to please his wife
He’s casting his fate to the wind, he’s showing his true grit…
The tunnel long but it’s ok…he plans to “GOPHER” IT!🦫

…An “unidentified” rodent that’s going to dig a tunnel under ground = A GOPHER. And as he’s looking to give his wife GREENer pastures, she’s asking what he’s waiting for…That he’ll be alright going across the golf course …That he should “GOPHER” IT! https://tinyurl.com/4p48wj4e Easy, breezy…And we’ve gotten ourselves another HOLE in one!

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and have you ever wondered what you call a dead gopher? Just fur…it doesn’t go anymore….Give it a minute…🦫🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️With the entire committee starting to GRIPE about wanting to attend the DERBY, and the tickets SPOTTY, it became a THORNY subject…until a raffle was mentioned…and the chairman said…”GO FOR IT”!

🎩 She bought him a new DERBY after his had gotten SPOTTY,
It got a little thrown around when he went to Karate…
Fed up to hear him GRIPE so much, a THORNY problem true,
He should have left the hat at home…avoid so much ado
    She’s hoping there’s a lesson learned…to dress as what befits…
Karate and a derby? Only he would GO FOR IT…🎩

  3. Good morning taco-Tuesday ! What a great day for tacos ! The anagrams were not THORNY at all ! They also were not SPOTTY ! I love starting out a good week , cause I felt like I’m winning the DERBY ! So there is nothing to GRIPE about with todays jumble ! I love the play on words with rodent and that he was determined to keep digging ! Cause I just wanted them to GOPHER IT ! Starting off to a good week of jumbles ! Everyone have a great taco-Tuesday, and if you’ve never had a taco on Tuesday , then just Go-for it !!!

  4. Easy blind solve with easily solved anagrams to follow. Tried the song….though very appropriate for the day’s puzzle, I’m not much into the techno-rock genre. Maybe a taco later in the day, who knows ???

  5. Good morning. Easy anagrams and cartoon puzzle however I was unable to get the blind solve. I couldn’t bring up the song Angela. Every time I hit the mark it comes up and then goes back to it’s original showing. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe

  6. Gophers – they’d be the last to confess
That they make a terrible mess
    They throw up the ground
    Create mound after mound
And there’s never a hint of redress!

They just go on thinking they’re cute
And that their tunneling’s simply a hoot
    Like a volcanic eruption
    Causing total disruption
Why can’t they take a straightforward route!

  7. It was a Happy Taco Tuesday with a quick solve of the anagrams and an obvious solve of the cartoon.

  8. Late entry, but, yes the references to “Caddyshack” : Bushwood Country Club and Bill Murray’s character “Carl” out on the links. No Rodney Dangerfield, though? Best part of the film IMHO. “With a hat like that you get a free bowl of soup!”

    • Yes, and I also like the female gopher’s comment that he will be all right, which is a reference to Kenny Loggin’s Caddyshack Theme “I’m Alright.”
