So…“Let them eat CAKE”…after indulging in the chocolate fountain, the cupcake tower, the candy bar, the Viennese table…ad nauseam…BAKE no mistake, the dessert part of today’s weddings could EASILY choke a horse…no pun intended… but speaking of…let’s go down that BRIDAL path…
Ok. In the spirit of full disclosure, I was unsure of the identity of our main character today, the Wedding Planner. The solve was way immediate…a PIECE OF CAKE to say the YEAST…but the guy? Not so easy. Yet I knew he had too distinctive a look to be just a generic Jumble character… Only yesterday just wasn’t a good day for me…9/11 doesn’t really get easier…so while the solve didn’t COST me any time, I was lost on said WP…and just didn’t have the head for searching around. So, I went right to the source…Jeff. And, as always, he was SWEET enough to FOOT THE BILL…I mean fit the bill…And so…

And the Gems? I like the elegance of the tie-backs on the chairs…but it’s Jeff capturing Franck’s distinctive lock of hair that’s definitely the ICING on the CAKE!

With all the things he tried to CHECK… no meeting could be brief…

Welcome sweet Monday ! What a fun and , hello , to a fun start of the jumble week ! I got all the anagrams and the jumble without much time to EXPIRE ! I didn’t have to CHECK any of them ! Nothing today gave me any FLACK ! So I pretty much have SPOKEN ! The jumble was sweet and it fit the wedding couples dessert choice cause it was just a PIECE OF CAKE ! I saw it and wanted a piece right away ! Great way to start the week ! Can’t wait to see the next days jumbles ! Everyone have a ‘ sweet Monday ‘ !
Yes, an easy puzzle to start off the week. I was thinking diligently, for a brief moment, when the answer popped up. Unscrambled anagrams speedily and the only thing left was to read Angela’s great musings….Fun stuff about the movie and cool song.
BTW, as a former airline pilot, I, too, have solemn moments on 9/11 anniversary. Thanks for your thoughts, too.
