🦟 Mosquitoes…what can one say? …They AMBUSH you at will,
And no TRICK seems to work with them…most times they’ll bite you still…
It seems they have an ENGINE, that gives them driving force,
Where I live we oft joke how they’re saddled upon a horse…
Me? I’m completely RIGID in my attitude towards them,
I just abhor the thought of them…so there’s no haw or hem…
This poor guy here, they’re circling him, as would a hungry shark…
Adding insult to injury…with their BITING REMARKS! 🦟
Ok…So…Mosquitoes…and another queasy…breezy one. I was able to WING it on BITE, I mean sight. Although I must admit, it did BUG me, and I had to close my FLIES to get through it…Nasty looking little things…always out for blood! We see two poised to attack…and if you look real closely you’ll see another two in the background ready to SCRATCH the surface…And if you were to swat one on your arm? Its death is only in VEIN! You can’t win…But the nerve of these two…”Enjoy the itching”? …”No one to blame but yourself”? …What terrible REMARKS! Talk about victim blaming…they’ve taken it to an all new BITE…I mean height…But the bottom line? … It’s all in the dialogue, Folks…So even though it’s a pain in the NECK for this guy, it’s not for us…The sarcastically POINTED comments these two are making? Hello Friday ! Boy , the jumble ENGINE had no TRICK to it and the anagrams were not at all RIGID ! The mosquitoes thought about an AMBUSH , but they just had BITING REMARKS ! Very fun , comfortable and entertaining one today ! I’ve never heard the Elvis song , but you will never go wrong with him , it was a good one ! So the jumble , you can Scratch that one off and I’m itching for Saturday ! Everyone have a great Friday !!!!

Great puzzle today, I got all the words but had trouble with cartoon – why ?, can’t figure why, because mosquitoes always “AMBUSH” me in the summer, I’m a mosquito magnet, I try to “TRICK” them with repellant which makes me “RIGID” from the smell that revs my “ENGINE” to get away from the mosquitoes gossip and their “BITING REMARKS” ! Until tomorrow – everyone have a sunny day !

That they feel it’s their right,
To swarm ‘round and to bite…

A few struggles in my Friday Jumbling !!! Although I thought BITING was the first word, couldn’t think past that. Next, AMBUSH seemed to take forever to unscramble. Facing all the letters and taking out BITING, I was left with MARKERS and proceeded no further. What a rookie mistake !! The Elvis song a real gem, as I remember many of his songs were full of such energy in the late 50’s. Always fun to hear an Angela Joke of the day. Be well.

No problem with the anagrams but it took me a bit of time to figure out the cartoon answer. Kept thinking “sting or stinging” would be in the answer. Studied the dialogue for a bit and finally saw “remarks” and “biting” of course was obvious. Have a good day all.

Cartoon stumped me as well!
