  1. Good Morning, Everyone… 🕺🏻CHRISTOPHER ROBIN THE SCENE 🕺🏻

🎶 Believe it or not, I’m WALKIN’ ON AIR…I never thought I could feel so free…Flyin’ away on a wing and a prayer…Who could it be?…Believe it or not it’s just me….🎶 “Believe It Or Not (I’m Walkin’ On Air”) – Joey Scarbury 1981 https://tinyurl.com/ywmyavdz

🕺🏻He’s got a KNACK for dancing, and a real distinctive voice,
(I’m not dealing with THORAX here…I had to make the choice…
It made me WINCE, and so does GRILLE…I just don’t have the time,
To dance around with these two words…they don’t fit in this rhyme)
The scene today Chris Walken….man noted for his flare…
The solve en”acted” easily…I’m def “WALKEN” ON AIR! 🕺🏻

So I think we file this one under “Pop Culture”. And I might be wrong, but I think that unless you’re familiar with the movie, and the multi-dimensional actor, Christopher WALKEN, https://tinyurl.com/2t53ee6t I doubt that there’s an automatic solve in your near future…But knowing both the movie and the actor/character quite well, I SAW this one coming.…And I have to say, I think it’s brilliant…

“Catch Me If You Can” https://tinyurl.com/2p9pczcc , the movie. Actually, I‘ve seen it quite a few times…and I really enjoyed it. I’m team Tom Hanks and Martin Sheen, but not being a big DiCaprio or Walken fan, I didn’t think I’d like the movie much. But I ended up loving it…and even bought a copy. Based on a true story, https://tinyurl.com/yfry3k3f it was mind-boggling amazing what the main character, Frank Abagnale, Jr (Leonardo DiCaprio) managed to pull off. And if any of you haven’t seen it, I strongly recommend you do so. I laughed, I cried…the whole nine yards, and I doubt you’ll be disappointed…

So…SCENE: We see Mr WALKEN, being interviewed on the set of “Catch Me If You Can”, circa 2001, and he’s asking the host if she’d like to dance. In CHARACTER as Frank Abagnale, Sr, our FEETured actor, has the STARRING ROLE this morning…a role which IMO, was definitely Oscar worthy. And as I mentioned above, it helped to know the movie in order for this one to be A WRAP. But the dialogue…”How much I like to dance in my movies“ … https://tinyurl.com/mur3evcz the “Pennies From Heaven” https://tinyurl.com/arsrwwcj reference, (another added bonus movie hint), the two arrow logos on the wall, plus our question giving us “Catch Me If You Can”, and only the name Christopher, glaringly omitting his last name…not to mention the quotation marks? Plus the winning TICKET? Our host. “THRILLED”… and so obviously flattered that …she’s “WALKEN” ON AIR! https://tinyurl.com/yc66cz6t Bravo!…David and Jeff definitely well-SCRIPTED this one! And I definitely give it 5-Stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! I was WALKEN on air myself!

So…There you have it, Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…and may we all dance like nobody’s watching…🕺🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦
…AND I STAND FOR REFORM IN AMERICA 💔🇺🇸

  2. 🤦🏻‍♂️So concerned with the damage to his car’s GRILLE, he paid no attention to the entire anatomy lesson on the THORAX…and couldn’t help but WINCE when called on by the Professor who said…”You seem to have a KNACK for spacing out…I doubt you’ll be WALKING ON AIR when the time for finals comes around”…🤦🏻‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️While studying the THORAX, in his mind he thought a GRILLE,
A protection like a wall of sorts…and he turned to his friend Phil…
“You have a KNACK for getting things, comes to words you don’t mince,
While I just can’t remember…and most times it makes me WINCE…
    I wish I had your memory, you’re so devil-may-care…
You ace these lessons and seem like you’re just WALKING ON AIR”!🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. Good morning Friday end of the week ! Well I hope I’m not alone on this , but the one word I didn’t see , I guess I had my GRILLE up , cause I wrote down Riggle , I was shaking my head ! The rest of the anagrams were good , but the jumble was out there , mainly cause I didn’t see the movie and I heard of Christopher Walken , but it just didn’t come to me ! All in all , it was a great jumble week ! Hope everyone is doing well trying to stay positive and the jumbles really help ! Have a great Friday !!!!!

  4. 💃🏻 So Chris Walken who’s taking a chance,
Asking the host if she’d care to dance…
Seems like he must have known,
    She’d be thrilled…as she’s shown…
Proving he had her with just a glance! 💃🏻

🕺🏻It was dancing Chris Walken’s first love,
And his moves…smooth as a new suede glove…
    Man’s prowess can’t be beat,
He’s def light on his feet…
Finds a way to dance… push come to shove!

🏆 Starred in movies now for many years,
Gave us laughter and brought us to tears…
    Earned an Oscar has he,
    Add to that an Obie…
    Industry-wise respected by peers! 🏆

🎬 We see Chris here while he’s on the set,
    Of a movie deals with life’s regret…
    His son goes quite above,
    Looking to earn his love…
A performance as good as it gets…🎬

🎭 Be it drama or comedy’s quest,
Mr Walken’s chops put to the test…
    Many scenes he has stole,
    With diversified roles…
‘Til this day he’s still one of the best! 🎭

  5. Good morning. Like the song, that’s how I feel after making up for yesterday’s debacle. No problem with either the words or cartoon answer. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  6. I thought I knew my movies better, but suffice it to say….I was a little stumped this morning. Initial thoughts on Catch Me If You Can brought up Tom Hanks, and didn’t know C. Walken was in Pennies….so scratched my head a little. Didn’t know GRILLE had an E which helped with confusion. It has been a great Jumble week, and hope today’s poor performance was just an anomaly…See you Saturday with a recharged brain !!!

  7. Hi Everyone – I needed Google’s help to get this one since I didn’t know the actor or the movie. My husband thought of Walkin’, as in Angela’s song choice, but in that case there would have been an apostrophe.

  8. Apart from my confusion on the spelling of grille, I had forgotten the name of the actor Walken and that he was in that movie. I guess the morning rain has dampened my brain.

  9. Like Caroline I had to resort to Google since I hadn’t seen the movie though I have seen Christopher Walken in other productions. Love the song choice, Angela. Beautiful day here today so hope it’s sunny in your little part of the world too. 🌞

    • Tk you Betty, on both accounts. And try to see the movie. It’s a good one. 🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Hi Jeff. Tks…but I’ve already included this clip in my post…🕺🏻🙋🏻‍♀️
