  1. Good Morning, Everyone. 🌊CLIMATE STRAINS….
    …IT COULD LEAD TO…ATOLL(al) DISASTER….🌊

    🎶Somewhere beyond the SEA…🎶… “Beyond The Sea” – Bobby Darin 1958 https://tinyurl.com/5n8pp2j2

🌊 The situation serious, and LEVITY has no place,
The rising water levels just continue at a pace,
No simple KNACK to slow it, no sane person would GLOAT,
(And NOTARY will bite the dust…I can’t keep it afloat)…
The Islands are in danger, we’re watching it unfold…
Six feet above sea level? Yes, it’s def TAKING “ATOLL” 🌊

I think in order to get today’s pun, it’s important to know that most of the Marshall Islands https://tinyurl.com/mt5skfuk are ATOLLS. https://tinyurl.com/2ahtsyru And the Idiom “Taking a Toll” is defined as having a serious, bad effect on something or someone. https://tinyurl.com/etwwc2jx So while it might be a case of sink or swim getting today’s solve…between the teacher’s dialogue, and David giving us the quotation marks…it’s pretty simple. The rising sea level is… https://tinyurl.com/2p83n2y7 TAKING “ATOLL”! Very clever indeed…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Be well and stay safe out there…🌊🙋🏻‍♀️

    I STAND WITH UKRAINE 💔🇺🇦

  2. 🙇🏻‍♂️Never really having the KNACK of the art of LEVITY, he had no reason to GLOAT when he bombed at the town’s Convention of NOTARY Publics…and after months it was still TAKING A TOLL on him…🙇🏻‍♂️

    👨🏻‍💼A little LEVITY can’t hurt…long as one doesn’t GLOAT,
The NOTARY he had a KNACK, he didn’t sugarcoat…
He looked at things with reason…took the picture as a whole…
But always used discretion…there’d be no TAKING A TOLL…👨🏻‍💼

  3. Good morning Friday , end of another fun jumble week, except for todays ! Not that it wasn’t fun , but it wasn’t easy fun ! I didn’t know about the Marshall Islands being ATOLLS , and by the end of the anagrams and jumble , it definitely had TAKEN A TOLL on me ! Couldn’t get the jumble so I had to look and I haven’t had to do that for the last 7 days ! The anagrams were there , except I needed a NOTARY to enter the TOLL cause it was A TAKEN ! Everyone have a great start to the weekend Friday !!!!!

  4. Hi Everybody – Notary, Levity and the answer were a challenge. Trying the ING ending and reading about the Marshall Islands helped me. At first I had allot for the second word, but that didn’t make sense with the quotes. Thanks to David and Jeff for  bringing attention to a  serious problem that we can do something about.

  5. Boy ‘o Boy – after days of getting the challenging jumbles – this one was a humdinger ! I don’t mean to “GLOAT”, but I was doing pretty good until today ! This jumble was “TAKING A TOLL” on my brain ! I didn’t have the “KNACK” today, so until tomorrow – everyone have a sunny day !

  6. Good morning. Took a long time today, I was able to get the cartoon answer but not the last word Levity. That I had to look up. I was about to pull the plug on the cartoon answer until it finally clicked that the first word was Taking. The rest followed. You picked another winner Angela. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Tk you..Be well and stay safe out there…🌊🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. With climate change in full view
It’s difficult to know what to do
    With waters a-rising
    We keep emphasizing
Land spaces are getting quite few.

So this gull has spotted and found
His very own perch on the ground
    He claims it’s his turf
‘Mid the swell and the surf
While other gulls are just wheeling around!

Pretty soon there might just be a fight
For scant spaces on which to alight
    Gulls flapping and screaming
    The air simply teeming
With seabirds in angry full flight!

  8. Clever puzzle this morning. Notary was the one anagram that took me the longest to solve. Figured the first word would end in “ing” so I was able to come up with “taking” and then of course “atoll” clicked. Fun day. Have a good one all!

  9. With LEVITY, I have to GLOAT that I had a KNACK for solving NOTARY.

NOTARY and LEVITY each took some effort. I quickly got the answer, as I saw TAKING, and the leftover letters gave ATOLL. Fun answer today.
