He may be an Amazon Prime member…And speaking of…Come March 25th, all of us existing customers will be digging a little deeper …Amazon’s raising the price of memberSHIP…Why? They’ve cited SHIPPING and labor costs, tumbling operating income, decreasing cash flow, etc…You know how it is…Things have been getting “ASTRO”nomically higher…Yeah, ok… Amazon? …Maybe I should write a little “Bezos Pesos“ piece…Just sayin’. ..Anyway, I digress…
Our cartoon? The horizontal paneling hints at the possibility that our couple may be aboard a ship…Either that, or our guy figured “what the HULL”…and did up a room in his house to look like one…Must have been quite an OARdeal…The laptop screen shows the words, “Order complete”, and there’s a dollar sign at the upper left corner. The shelf he’s speaking of holds a compass at left and what looks to be a moon phase clock at right. Hello weekend ! It’s Saturday ! Well after I had a SPRAIN on this one , trying to make sense of the schooner he ordered , not a ship , but it’s a sailboat, so that threw me off the shelf . I just wanted to open the HATCH and leave , with a SPRAIN on my brain ! But I had to try , so I got the words HAVE IT , and the letters left , I must have misplaced one or two cause I didn’t see SHIPPED ! Oh well , I’m putting this one on the shelf and hope this weekend melts the snow and the sun comes out ! Because schooner or later it will ! Have a great weekend !

Unlike Jim, I didn’t know that a schooner is not a ship, so that made it easier for me. 🙂 I tried “SHIP IT ….” at first, and that didn’t work…but finally figured out “HAVE IT SHIPPED”. Nice detail on the cartoon with lots of gems. I appreciate the effort that goes into drawing the cartoon every day with such detail. Angela … thanks for all the time you spend putting this page together. For me, Jumble is a great way to start the day each morning with my diet coke. Terry – I added Wordle to my Jumble morning routine 18 days ago. It’s great fun. I think doing Jumble for the past year has definitely helped….I have an 18 day Wordle streak going…but there are other folks who’ve been doing it for 200 days or longer. For a “numbers” person, never thought word puzzles could be so fun.
A surprisingly quick solve of the anagrams and the cartoon,despite the multitude of letters,and it being a Saturday.
