Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
🐦 FEATHER THEY BELONG THERE OR NOT…🐦
🎶All of her days have gone soft and cloudy…All of her dreams have gone dry….All of her nights have gone sad and shady…She’s getting ready TO FLY…🎶…”Fly Away” – John Denver 1975 https://tinyurl.com/bddrp9md
🐦 Sometimes these birds look GOOFY, the way they dip and swirl,
But give it up for bravery that we see from our girl…
I could write a whole STANZA ‘bout what I think is guts,
For me…it’s a FINALE…no ifs nor ands nor buts…
Chase after birds? I think not… (just like PILOT, it’s no go,
It doesn’t fit the puzzle here)…And birds? You’ll hear me crow!
I’m not a fan of feathered friends…don’t care if I’m deemed soft…
I wouldn’t be inside that barn…nix ALOFT IN A LOFT! 🐦
A warm welcome this morning to something we haven’t seen for a while now..a new word…GOOFY…Add to that all new anagrams, and I’d say we’re FLYING HIGH today!
And with our cartoon taking us to a HAY LOFT, https://tinyurl.com/muvbr9s9 today’s solve wasn’t hard to nail down. We’re seeing five birds flying ALOFT…IN A LOFT! Cute, clever, and right to the point…
So…There you have it Folks, Done….Have a good one. Be well…and stay safe out there…🐦🙋🏻♀️
🤦🏻♂️ The PILOT episode of the GOOFY new sitcom was titled, “ALOFT IN A LOFT”, and it was so bad that all he could think of was composing a STANZA for its FINALE…🤦🏻♂️
🤷🏻♂️They tried a PILOT program…some thought GOOFY…it won’t fly,
The FINALE of the last one had left them way high and dry…
They wrote a STANZA for it…sent it off to Microsoft…
But people shook their heads…saying “You’re ALOFT IN A LOFT”! 🤷🏻♂️
Fun and easy today.
Enjoy the challenge always!
Manana friends!
Enjoy your night, Mig. 🐦🙋🏻♀️
Good morning. Another easy group of words and seeing the double letters for the cartoon answer even that was easy but afoul for my taste. Pun intended. I get it but really don’t get it. Oh well. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.
Good Morning, Paul. ALOFT is to be flying, overhead, up in the air. The birds are ALOFT…IN A (hay) LOFT…Hoping you’re staying well and safe too…🐦🙋🏻♀️
Angie. I got it. But like I said don’t really get it. To me it’s lame. The more I think about it, maybe I’m the one that’s lame. I know all about the loft from my cousins farm upstate. They had the an outhouse. At least it was in the barn. Later on they upgraded to a house with a bathroom inside. Take care.
Am embarrassed by my morning Jumbling…but will fess up anyway. My initial take on puzzle cartoon gave a partial blind solve IN A LOFT. So far so good. Couldn’t grasp what the first word could be so unscrambled anagrams, placed IN A LOFT in it’s place…and was left with FLOAT…and said to myself…Self, I guess the birds could be FLOATIN (g) A LOFT. Okay, didn’t use all the brain power today….See you tomorrow.
I have a feeling you may not be alone with your line of thinking, Terry, even though using Float isn’t grammatically correct. Have a good one. 🐦🙋🏻♀️
Also had Float in a Loft. Didn’t make sense but it fit! Just a Goofy Stanza in my day as I Pilot my way to the Finale. Big wind coming through the Great Plains today. Battening down the hatches and listening to song from Paint Your Wagon, “They Call the Wind Maria!”
Continued prayers for those affected by the tornadoes.🙏🏻
Anagrams were a quick solve,as was loft as the final cartoon word, but the first word ‘aloft’ was not a quick solve but did slowly come to mind.A strange weather day forecast ahead,w unseasonably warm ,if not hot, 70 degree temperatures, and gusty 50+ mph winds in the forecast.
Where’s the best place to begin?
Those birds have found their way in
Do we allow them to stay
Make a mess of the hay
And go on creating a din?
We have missed your limericks Angela. Hope you have some today. I don’t always get the opportunity to come up with a limerick. My teaching days require so much preparation “thanks” to covid and all the rules. I check the weather hourly to assess the chance of classes able to get outside, the best place to be.
Unseasonably warm in S. Ont. The grass is still growing.
Hi Helen…Unfortunately, the tornadoes have taken a very heavy toll on a good number of my friends, and we’re struggling with it all. My head is always full of Limericks, but as I’m sure you can see, and understand, my heart isn’t…I’m just having a hard time feeling the whimsy of it…but thank you. 💔
Sorry to hear that Angela. Travelling for you from NYC to the affected area to try to help would very difficult at a time like this.
Thank you. Traveling there isn’t a possibility…hopefully we can get them here.
Cute puzzle this morning. Love the play on words aloft and a loft. I am heart sick watching the news about the tornadoes so can only imagine how it must be for you who have friends in the area, Angela. By the way you’ve done a terrific job maintaining this Jumble in Mike’s absence. Don’t forget to take care of yourself too. ♥️
Thank you, Betty. Be well. ❤️
It’s mid-week ! Words were easy . The jumble wasn’t there for me . I too saw Float thinking the birds were leaving the barn and heading toward the the lake to stay Afloat ! (kidding) ! Have a great ‘hump-day’ !!!
Words were a piece of cake 100 YR OLE LADY elsewhere
