  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…

🎶 And I’ll be taking care of BUSINESS (every day)…Taking care of business (every way)…..I’ve been taking care of business (it’s all mine)…Taking care of business and WORKING OVERTIME…🎶 “Taking Care of Business” – Bachman Turner Overdrive 1973 https://tinyurl.com/24psr2fn

🔠 We see our Jumble Gurus, both busy at their desks,
A deadline’s fast approaching…will they become nervous wrecks?
You know our guys will CRUSH it, they’re never ones to fail,
Caught in the MIDDLE here and there…but they’re not known to bail…
Like one might kick up GRAVEL…they’ll leave no stone unturned,
And definitely get to work…and puzzles out they’ll churn…
Where BURLY means one big and strong, against these guys don’t gamble…
They’re giants in the puzzle game…and they’ll get it all SCRAMBLED!🔠

So, what do we see today? A little peek behind the SEENs?

Our puzzle this morning brings us another three new anagrams, with the only one we’ve seen before being VLARGE. But they were all easily unSCRAMBLED…As for the solve? With Jeff saying they’ll “hustle”… It pretty much SPELLED itself out for us…

Today we find David and Jeff being told by their editor, Tracy Clark, that they need to finish next week’s puzzles today…So whether or not somebody dropped the haul…the bottom line is that with the deadline looming…they SCRAMBLED…in order to finish in time…

Jeff’s Gems? His screen is showing what may be a future puzzle…a gathering of people, overlooking his work. His dogs, Gizmo, chewing his ubiquitous skunkie, and Fifi, with her heart collar, are at his desk, while Miss Daisy Dog lies by David. And while Jeff’s sporting one of his Tweedy Show T-shirts, David’s depicts Yeti…and his ever present coffee in an I ❤️ Jumble mug is seen hot and steaming at his side. All in all, they’re doing what they love, loving what they do…and despite being a little late…it’s business as usual…

So, There you have it Folks, Done. Have a good one. Be well, and stay safe out there…🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤼 Watching the BURLY wrestler as he SCRAMBLED to CRUSH the bugs, (that looked like little pieces of GRAVEL) in the MIDDLE of the match, gave everyone a laugh…🤼‍♂️

🤷🏻‍♂️ The alley it was dark and dank, a BURLY figure loomed,
He stood there in the MIDDLE thinking for sure he was doomed…
The GRAVEL crunched beneath his feet, he tried hard not to CRUSH,
And all the while his heart pounded…his nerves turning to mush
The figure was approaching…he feared soon he would be trampled…
He woke with such a sudden start…his sleepy thoughts all SCRAMBLED!🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. Good Monday ! I didn’t have to think too hard for the words , I did a CRUSH on them and it didn’t put GRAVEL in the brain ! Then I saw this BURLY looking figure on one of the creators shirt . It was Big Foot ! He was right in the MIDDLE of the other two ! They all looked calm and relaxed and I didn’t see any part of being SCRAMBLED ! Well that made it not so easy to relate to ! Well everyone , it’s the start of the week so let’s get ready for the holidays ! Have a good day !

  4. Continued prayers for Kentucky, Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri, Mississippi and Tennessee. 🙏🏻

  5. Easy Monday puzzle. Had some help on the cartoon answer, because the tag line for Jumble: “That SCRAMBLED Word Game” shows up above the anagrams in the online version (on the Chicago Tribune page). And below that, it says, “UNSCRAMBLE these Jumbles…”. A fun Monday! Have a good week.

    • When Martin Naydel created the Jumble in 1954, it’s original title was “Scramble” …
Wishing you a good week too, Brad. 🔠🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. As the others have said, an easy Jumble typical of Monday. I get a kick out of the guys depicted at work. Three dogs? Must be a bit crazy. Editors, huh? They can be tough but are so necessary. Burly Mr.Sasquash would Crush the Gravel walking down the Middle of my driveway but it would be worth it as I Scrambled to get a photo. Yes, thoughts and prayers for all those tornado victims. Be well and be safe.

  7. “You two have no time to amble
So I’ll be blunt, without any preamble
    You’ll have to move fast
    Before the deadline’s has passed
So would you hurry up with the scramble”!

  8. Good morning. Thank goodness for Monday’s. The words were a breeze but the scrambled letters for the cartoon answer took a little time. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  9. Yes, that word SCRAMBLE was sitting right in front of us….but didn’t come as a blind solve. Should have, though !!! Easy anagrams to solve. Have a great start to your week.

  10. Must be Monday,as the anagrams and even the many lettered 1 word cartoon puzzle a quick near blind solve.Enjoy your week.

  11. Off to a good start this Monday with a nice and easy solve. I always enjoy it when David, Jeff & family members appear in the cartoon. Have a good day all.

  12. Quick solve … after all it’s Monday! This jumble gave me an urge for a scrambled egg late breakfast/ lunch. Thanks for the suggestion!
