So…With all our words having been seen in past Jumble GAMES, today NUHOD is the only anagram that’s been in PLAY before…but I have to HAND it to David for Gaiohe and Laztoe…Very well PLAYED!…And it was only Hoagie that the EBs would CHEWS as a bit of a stumper. (Maybe because most of them call it a hero)… But the solve? Maybe you need to be a Poker player, but it was an automatic read for us all…With Jeff taunting David, and his friend Lissa advising him to FOLD, (see above)…it was easy to see what we were DEALING with here…Poor David…He’s a FISH out of ‘OUGHTA..like a lamb led to slaughter…’cause he ‘OUGHTA just CALL https://tinyurl.com/ne4x8vfa it a night…And yes, of course these seasoned players were “happy to welcome” his inexperience INTO THE FOLD…

The man to Jeff’s right, (who I thought might be one of his usual Poker susSPECS, Dennis, but if so, the TABLEs have turned, since he’s not wearing glasses) is HOLDING a pair of Jacks…but the suit shown is the signature Jumble “J”…and the man to his right, who might be another player we’ve seen before, Donnie, has a drink in his hand…but there’s no coaster in sight…I FELT the pain of that ruining the table….And while Jeff, tossing chips into the pot, is seen sporting one of his Wilco T-shirts, Lissa, seemingly sitting this one out, is seen without eyelashes! That Jeff…what a CARD! As for David? Well this time…there are no WORDS!

Happy Friday ! It’s the weekend ! The first 4 words were easy , but the last one , ZEALOT , was very uncompromising ! Do I ‘sound’ like a HOUND ? And I’m proud to have HOAGIE from Muskoagie (lol) ! The inexperienced poker player should’ve admitted he was UNFIT to go against the poker sharks ! The jumble was there for me , I just had to rearrange the letters once I got FOLD , I tried the word INTO , but that left me ‘out’ of the INTO , then THE were the only 3 letters left , so 🎵 you got to know when to hold ‘em . Know when to fold ‘em . Know when to walk away , know when to run 🎵 have a great weekend everyone !!

Had to scramble around and scratch my head a little to see “HOAGIE” and “ZEALOT”, a couple of words that I haven’t used lately…but after I conquered those, solution came fairly easily when I was pretty sure “the” could be middle word in the solution. Anyhow, a good weekend wish for all from South Georgia!!

This Jumble is seriously cooked! I came up with FIND THE LOOT, which is what I feel poker players do, is to get hands and find plays that will help them win big. I investigated with an anagram tool and then found FIND THE TOOL. Maybe the other players were helping him use a computer program on his iPhone called Best Poker Play Tool (BPPT). Now I look up the answer wondering which one of these was the intended solution and find it is neither of these, but instead is INTO THE FOLD! That is THREE plausible answers. There are several other not as good solutions as well, including TOLD THE INFO. These solutions all seem to include THE; the best I could find without that article is FELT TOO HIND. But nevertheless feel there are too many solutions to this Jumble.

To me, FIND THE LOOT and FIND THE TOOL all indicate that this poker club wants to help the newcomer win. INTO THE FOLD implies they want to make him lose. Folding a hand means losing. It seems that’s not a good way of welcoming a guest.

There’s a shop in our neighborhood called, Mr. Submarine. I loved the title of the book by Alice Childress: “A Hero Ain’t Nothing But a Sandwich”. Wishing all of you a good day.
