  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
    👀IT’S SO IMPORTANT TO MOIST-YOUR-EYES! 👀

🎶 Doctor, my EYES, tell me what is wrong…Was I unwise to leave them open for so long?…🎶 “Doctor, My Eyes” – Jackson Browne 1972 https://tinyurl.com/7zjvfek5

👀 I’m sure many of you know about the putting in of drops,
Myself, attempts too often amount to no more than flops…
And allergies, and all the like, bring OPAQUE into play,
The GRASSY ground, the pollen…it can ruin many a day…
So we see our girl standing there, her SHRIMP-like eyes are sore,
She’s looking near and YONDER for the drops she bought before…
But feeling like an INFANT, lost within a FEEBLE haze,
She’s wondering, where are the drops? Have they seen better days?
She’ll have to settle…second best…and hope that what she buys
Alleviates what right now is def A “SIGH” FOR SORE EYES…👀

KERATOCONJUNCTIVITIS is when you have both Keratitis and Conjunctivitis at the same time. Keratitis is inflammation of the cornea, and Conjunctivitis is inflammation of the conjunctiva. Phew!…No wonder our poor girl needs drops…

Murine puts out an Eye care product called “EYE MIST”…I say…You got that right!…

So, our words…Once again, we’ve SEEN them all before. And yes, today there were a few minor BLINKS and TICS amongst the Early Birds…Who had a “little one” with SHRIMP, who felt “green” over GRASSY, and who was a tad cloudy over OPAQUE…. But, it was nothing to TEAR UP over, and they quickly persevered…As for the solve? Easy, breezy, eye drop-bottle squeezy…You had to SEE this one coming, Folks…With those quotes surrounding the first four-letter word…and our girl saying “Darn”?…We had it the moment we laid EYES on our cartoon…

Ok…As I mentioned above, in my poem, Eye Drops can bring a person to tears…I need to apply Eye Drops every night…but when allergies hit? Make that another 2-3 times a day…And should Pink Eye TEAR, I mean rear it’s ugly head? Forget about it…And you’d think that after all these TEARS, I mean years, I’d be able to do it with my eyes closed, right?…But nope, I still manage to waste enough drops to choke a horse…I’m like..”Oops, EYE MIST again”..and again…and again..and again. So, I can run out a lot…And MAUREEN, our girl here today may be suffering from a similar fate. SEEing her at the counter of her neighborhood pharmacy, it’s obvious she’s run out of her drops, and just assumed she’d find them where she usually does. But, aLASH, no such luck…So she stands there, high and DRY, terribly disappointed…and just can’t help but let out A “SIGH”…FOR SORE EYES!… https://tinyurl.com/3rr7t3um Brilliant!…And DROP the mic, ‘cause David’s done it again…He just continues to surpEYES us, doesn’t he?

Jeff’s Gems? To the left of the top shelf of products, next to that HARD TO MISS empty space where the needed drops would usually be, are two boxes that show an eye with a drop above it. A familiar logo, but we won’t mention names…WINK, WINK. And below them, bottles of what appear to be contact lens solutions…And Erika, the pharmacist, (EYEdentifiable by her nameplate), as helpful as she’d like to be, just can’t seem, more or LENS, to break the EYES with Maureen… EYE carumba!

So, There you have it Folks, Done! Have a great day, Everyone. Be well, stay safe…and keep in mind…Technically, Eye Drops are really just BLINKer Fluid…And IRIS my case…👀🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. After an easy week this puzzle got me. Anagrams were well jumbled and made me work. Solution also took me a lot of time although the cartoon was pretty straight forward.
Dodgers lost last night so they kept even with the Giants. The Gs have already won tonight and the Ds are now tied. Sheesh, this is gonna come down to the end!
    See ya all Monday!

    • I guess whatever transpires as the season winds down, one thing holds true…These puzzles consistently hit it out of the park! 😉… Have a good one, Mig. 👀🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. …AND OUT OF THE ARCHIVES…Once again, this 🤏🏻close…The puzzle of 02/26/17…The question: The new Ophthalmologist’s office was… The solve: A “SITE” FOR SORE EYES”… https://tinyurl.com/2p3azyh9
Note: There LOOKS to have been an error with the line up of the answer circles that day. The top group of four belongs at the bottom…I guess someone failed to LOOK closely enough! 👀🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Looking YONDER over the OPAQUE shaded, SHRIMP-colored sky, she knew rain was coming…and triggering her allergies, it brought her back to her childhood…when as an INFANT, she remembered sitting in the GRASSY field, and making FEEBLE attempts to reach up and touch it…and she realized that it was A SIGHT FOR SORE EYES…🤷🏻‍♀️

👧🏻 She thought to leave the INFANT home, the little SHRIMP she was,
All dressed in OPAQUE tights and top…the reason was because…
It looked like rain out YONDER, and the GRASSY plot might be
Temptation to the little girl…and she’d rather not see…
The FEEBLE try she knew she’d have to get the grass stains out…
She had no stain remover left…no “Spray n’ Wash”, or “Shout”…
She got herself all ready, and she bid the child goodbye,
But seeing her looking so sad? Def A SIGHT FOR SORE EYES…👧🏻

  5. After a fairly dismal Jumble week, it was a Sunday celebration with a blind solve and easily solved anagrams. What gave puzzle away was the last part…FOR SORE EYES. Everyone enjoy their Sunday.

  6. No drops! She just couldn’t believe her eyes
Almost dropped to the floor in surprise
    “I’m all sore and pink
    So when do you think
You’ll be getting some more supplies?”

    • Hi Helen…👀🙋🏻‍♀️

👁 With eyes that were swollen and dry,
Our girl here was looking to buy…
      The drops that she’s used,
      But she’s being refused…
And it’s causing her sadly to sigh…👁

🤷🏻‍♀️ You wonder what our girl will do,
There’s no drops and she’s left feeling blue…
‘Cause her eyes are so dry,
      She’s left simply to sigh…
“What drops now are best to pursue”? 🤷🏻‍♀️

  7. Anagrams came quickly, even opaque and yonder, but too many letters for a complete cartoon solution. After looking up the solution start, “a sigh”, the rest came into mind. A thundery start to a stay at home Sunday.

    • Definitely a clever solve, Professor. A fun puzzle to work with. And the rain? Hoping we all stay safe. Be well, Prof. 👀🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. The Eyes Have It! No problem with the puzzle this morning. Everything fell nicely into place. Wishing all of you a good day.

  9. Interestingly, although I realize that names aren’t used in JUMBLE, I initially went with RODNEY (rather than YONDER) and it still resulted in the correct letters (R-O-Y) towards the full sentence, lucky coincidence! 🙂

    • Yes, a lucky coincidence, indeed! But as you mentioned, David will never use a proper name in any puzzle. Thanks for commenting, Peter, and I hope you’re enjoying your day. Be well, and stay safe out there…👀🙋🏻‍♀️
