  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
📶 TOOLS RUSH IN…WHERE ANGELS FEAR TO TREAD! 📶

🎶 And it’s whispered that soon, if we all call the tune…then the piper will lead us to reason…And a NEW DAY WILL DAWN for those who stand long…And the forests will echo with laughter…And (s)he’s buying a STAIRWAY to Heaven…🎶 “Stairway to Heaven” – Led Zeppelin 1971 https://tinyurl.com/2pwn7dur

📶 He’s worked so hard, so many years…he’s done that corporate climb,
His loyalty it had its DEPTH, but now it’s finally time…
He’s given lots of INPUT with these Stairs, the highs and lows,
But like a PIGEON flying free…he’s choosing now to go…
For years he’s played the SEESAW game, but as he looks around…
His mind’s made up…Retirement! It’s Paradise to STEP DOWN! 📶

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably never given much thought to stairs. I mean they’re there…We go up, we come down…Uh…What more can I say? Well, TBT, knowing me…plenty! But it’s Monday. I’m tired, you’re tired, we’ve another week to tread through…and if you’re really all that much into stairs, you can always just look it up…So before I go railing on and on about something that I’m far from expert in, I think I’ll just not runner my mouth this morning, and cut right to the case…I mean chase…

With our words today, we’ve another split decision. While they’ve all climbed their way into Jumble vernacular, two anagrams are retreads, and two are stepping up to the plate for the first time. We’ve seen PHEDT from April of last year, https://tinyurl.com/3h9nm5mc and PUNTI March of the year before. https://tinyurl.com/apzrh7m8 And while all four of them are masterfully crafted, except for one of the Early Risers flapping his wings the tiniest bit with PIGEON……everyone flew through our puzzle this morning, and nailed it down in no time…So, without any further bamboo, let’s just take the next step…and move on to our cartoon.

Today we find ourselves on the warehouse floor of the SK Staircase Company. The President, Bill D. Best, has come to bid farewell to his three top-notch employees; as his Vice President, Ima Riser, looks on reiterating how he “rose” to become president, (she’s a clever one)! and how they all wish him well as he’s STEPping DOWN, https://tinyurl.com/y2py6p9n upon his retirement. And with Bill shown STEPping DOWN the stairs to boot…well, let’s face it Folks, it’s not much of a climb to finish this one off today! Once again, David’s risen to the occasion!

Jeff’s Gems? I’m loving the logo! Shown on the plaque on the wall, as well as on the shirts of the employees, it’s a great design. And whether or not there’s a real SK Staircase Company, or it’s just a pigment of Jeff’s imagination, I’m definitely giving it a round of a-claws! Great graphic! As for our three employees, all wearing protective goggles…there’s the man working with a power saw, the woman, wearing a nail pouch and holding a hammer, and the man, hammer in hand also, standing closest to Bill. What touched me was how Jeff drew them all with such admiring expressions as they gazed up at Bill. No one’s speaking, they’re not hammering on about anything…just quietly lifting their eyes towards him with looks that definitely attest to the fact that he’s never let them down, and that they’ve always looked up to him. It’s obvious Bill was the type of boss who always took it to a higher level…But it’s the man at the bottom of the staircase who really touched me. Jeff’s drawn him to look older, so he’s probably been with SK the longest…and most likely watched Bill climb that ladder to success…step by step. And the sentimental way he’s stairing at Bill says it awl..

So, There you have it Folks, Done. Have a good one. Be well, stay safe…And as I wrap it up, I’m hoping we all stay one step ahead of the game today…📶🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🐦 After reviewing all the INPUT, and fully grasping the DEPTH of the situation, he could no longer SEESAW with a decision, and was forced to ask Jack to STEP DOWN as head of the PIGEON club…🐦

🙇🏻‍♂️🙇🏻‍♀️ They sat upon the SEESAW, as they used to years ago,
And traded all the INPUT, as they teetered really slow
This idea of a PIGEON…when they’d asked her for a dove?
No way would they allow one be released from up above…
The DEPTH of their love evident, but now they both wore frowns…
This wedding planner had to go…they’d ask her to STEP DOWN…🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻

  3. Easy puzzle solve….just love those four letter answers !!! But slightly perplexed about PIGEON..it just flew past me and was as tricky as I’ve seen lately.

    • I agree…David definitely raised the bar with Pigeon’s anagram… 📶🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. No real trouble, but I wonder what it says about my aging process that I took a bit too long to see Seesaw? Otherwise, the Depth of the puzzle didn’t command much brainpower Input and was my Pigeon. Rain, thunder and lightning on the Great Plains last night and the smell of Spring is everywhere this morning. Good day and good luck!

    • I suspect you may not be alone in finding that Seesaw’s not kids play today, OO! We shall SEE! And a good day to you too! 📶🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Fun Day Monday. I felt like I was out of my depth without input from this group. Q

  6. Good morning. Thank goodness it was a typical Monday jumble. No problem with the words or cartoon answer. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

  7. A blind solve of the cartoon,”step down” puzzle, quickly followed by the input and depth anagrams ,followed by pigeon, then finally seesaw, a teeter tower in my day, but only after inserting the w and s in the right spots, 2 letters I needed for my final step down solution,

    • An easy go if it today, Professor…but as always, cute and clever! 📶🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Stepped right up and solved everything quickly today. Wishing all of you a good day.

  9. X from the Eastern Sierra. Today’s solve was so easy as the cartoon was described to me. The answer before even looking at the end in grams was easy. A typical Monday of course. Today looks to be another great day at the big continuation of our drought in Reno. But no drought with the jump off. Everyone have a good day.

    • It is an easy solve today, Millard. Here’s hoping the rains come! And wishing you a good day too! 📶🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. Joining you witty folks, from Canada. I enjoy your daily input. I hope to join you regularly.
You certainly have to have an advanced command of the English language for jumble word scramble as there are so many idioms that take the non-native speaker time to acquire.

    • Hi Helen..Welcome, and it’s a pleasure to meet you. Yes, it’s true…David makes good use of our idioms, and having a command of them is a definite plus. But there’s usually so many clues in the cartoon, and it’s dialogue, that I’m sure you’ll be able to pick up easily. Thank you for joining us, and I’m glad you enjoy our blog. Enjoy your day, Helen! 📶🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Hi Helen,I think you should enjoy our little club here.Angela gives excellent ideas so sit down and stay a little while!Mig

  11. Millard back again. Siri seems to have some fun in my Dick Tatian of creating new jumbles. I have to dictate as I am legally blind. Everyone enjoy the challenges that every day brings us

    • LOL! Siri quite often seems to have a mind of her own! 😂 And props to you, Sir, 👏🏻👏🏻 for meeting the challenges of the Jumble. You’re to be admired…Enjoy your day, Millard…and thank you for stopping by! 📶🙋🏻‍♀️

  12. Hi all – Today’s answer was obvious, but not an instant easy Monday for me with the words. PIGEON took an extra look, and also a second look to SEE that the last word was compound before I SAW it. I put the TH together to get DEPTH quickly.

I’m glad to see each of the workers is wearing eye protection, but from the way the guy is handling the circular saw, I can see why everyone only has three fingers!

    Good wishes to everyone.

I have to throw in my favorite rendition of “Stairway” – Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart at the Kennedy Center, with Ann matching Robert Plant’s emotion and nailing the notes he could no longer reach. And as Ann said, no pressure at all; just performing with the President of the United States and Led Zeppelin themselves in the audience!

“The city park asked for INPUT from the pest control company, and their in-DEPTH report showed how to repel the PIGEON flocks to keep the SEESAW useable.”

    • Flocks of pigeons circling the seesaws…The imagery! 😱 But the saw? From what I can SEE, the SAW’s turned off! 😉 Enjoy your day, Steve…and good wishes to you too! 📶🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Your 80’s flashback hit for the day – “Circling the Seesaws” by Flock of Pigeons. 😂

Whether the saw is plugged in or not, 60+ years later I can *still* hear my high school wood shop instructor’s voice ringing in my ears if someone did anything like that! (Actual quote — “DO YOU VALUE YOUR HANDS??”) 😱

        • Steve…High school…60+ years later? Even I’m not that bad at Math! 😂😂 And let’s CUT Jeff some slack…it’s all in the angle…or the goggled eye of the beholder! 😉 🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Ann (The “Voice”) and Nancy (The “Guitar”) Wilson sisters! Just the best and my very favorites of all time! They just … Rock! Thanks for the Vid!

  13. PIGEON gave me a bit of a pause, today. Tuesday is easy! I won’t tell you about it tho! 🤫 Our paper throws Tuesday’s games in with Monday, because they wont deliver that day, anymore! It’s only online. Our Sunday paper is gone for good! Yes, All because of Covid! Today is a great day, because I bought myself a new mechanical pencil! 🤗 My Doggie chewed up my old one 6 mos. ago, and it finally gave out today! Good thing I was headed to Wallyworld this morning! Isn’t it the smallest of things, that can make you happy!?! 😉 It’s nice to see some newcomers on here! So I won’t drone on and scare them away! 😆 Good day to all and stay young!

    • Hi Kimberly…Yes, tomorrow is another easy one…but mum’s the word! And as for pigeon, it definitely seems to be todays stumper…It’s anagrammed masterfully! And since the pandemic? The small things have become large things…we need all the joy we can muster… Wishing you a good day too, Kimberly. Enjoy! 📶🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Watch out for the Griswold family at Wallyworld. They seem to create a ruckus wherever they go!!!

      • Clark is the MAN! Who was that supermodel flirting with him? Christie Brinkley or someone of her ilk?
