  1. Got this one quite fast to end a pretty easy J week! Currently I feel like I am doing OK as a J-man.
After a pretty easy week, what will the morrow bring? David and Jeff do it well daily and we all enjoy their efforts………………………

    • Good Morning, Mig. Yes, it has been an easy week, Tomorrow? I think you’re going to enjoy the challenge. Have a good day, Mig. Stay well and safe…🌊🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. Good Morning, Everyone. 🌊STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS? 🌊

🎶 Sweet STREAMS ’til sunbeams find you…Sweet STREAMS that leave all worries behind you…But in your dreams, whatever they be…STREAM a little dream of me…🎶 “Dream a Little Dream of Me..🎶 – (With an apology to)… The Mamas & the Papas 1968 https://tinyurl.com/3d5d6pa9

🌊 The waters of the Gulf Stream, they definitely have their WARMTH,
And teacher needs a LINER here to teach these kids henceforth…
These days they’ll take a SURVEY, from using satellites…
No DUNCE you’ll find at NOAA*….the scientists very bright…
So is the water slowing down?…The teacher tells these three…
Perhaps, but the 4 MPH is what it’s CURRENTLY! 🌊

Do you remember back on March 28th, when we had that puzzle with a Father teaching his young daughter about CURRENTS? And how they helped drift her little boat across the pond? Well, with today’s puzzle, all you need do is fathom David going a little more exstream…Because by just knowing that the Gulf Stream is an ocean CURRENT, you hardly need worry about dipping your toe into the water this morning…You’re already going with the flow! The Gulf Stream https://tinyurl.com/2xtjw88t is a strong ocean CURRENT that brings warm water from the Gulf of Mexico into the Atlantic Ocean. And today, it’s our CURRENT topic of conversation…

Ok…With our words being all old favorites again, David doesn’t seem to be looking to stem the tide…And even though one of the Early Birds blinked at DUNCE, they all used their smarts to get them through…and quickly waved goodbye to the entire puzzle. So water you say we just move on to our cartoon…

A classroom setting…A teacher, and three students…And a FLOW chart showing the Gulf Stream. We hear our teacher telling the class that there are signs alluding to the slowing of the flowing…and that it might not be too ex-stream a statement to say that the CURRENT rate of 4 MPH might not hold water for too much longer. But CURRENTLY, it remains as is. And with the one student heard asking how often the speed’s measured? Well…there’s oceans of information here, Folks. And we’ve managed to tide it all together once again…

And while the map is showing where the waters flow from the Gulf of Mexico and South America, pointing towards Iceland and Europe, it’s the kid to the left that drew me in. With a bewildered, open-mouthed stare, he looks like a fish out of water…

So, There you have it Folks, Done. Wishing you all a wonderful day. Be well, stay safe, and I’ll leave you with a little stream humor, to tide you over until tomorrow…There were once two cats named “One-Two-Three”, and “Un Deux Trois”, who decided to have a race across a stream. One-Two-Three easily won…because Un Deux Trois cat sank! 🌊 🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. 🛳 Despite being CURRENTLY in first place, he felt like a DUNCE when after the SURVEY was completed, the Captain of the Ocean LINER told him he was disqualified for his all too obvious lack of WARMTH…🛳

💘 The man had shown such WARMTH and grace, he definitely impressed,
And as the show’s HeadLINER, the man was impeccably dressed…
One had to be a DUNCE to not be smitten by his ways,
No need to take a SURVEY…she was caught up in his gaze
And how she loved that laugh of his…exuding such pure glee…
It made her look quite differently at her date CURRENTLY! 💘

  4. Answer wasn’t too hard once I put the two R’s together and LY at the end. So good to hear Mama Cass singing.
Slowing of the Gulf Stream is said to be another effect of climate change.

    • Good Morning, Caroline. I immediately thought of you with this puzzle, and knew you’d voice your concern. It does make one stop and think…And I’m with you on Mama Cass too..a voice silenced way too soon. Enjoy your day, Caroline. Be well and stay safe. 🌊🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Well good morning Angela! Had the time to shoot off a quick note and say I’m still following along just no time to respond. There’s been no lolly gagging around my house for the past year while my daughter was completing her final year of high school at home. I’ve been shooed out so early I have to bring my paper to work to complete the jumble of the day. Hope you and the jumble gang are well and here’s to my daughter’s graduation and on to her next chapter.

    • Hi Jim. Good Morning. It’s good to see you again. I can only imagine how busy you must be…it’s been a tough year. Thanks for dropping us a line, and all the best to your daughter. Be well, Jim, and stay safe out there. 🌊🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Good morning. Another easy go of it today from the words to the cartoon solution. Finally clicked with the arrows in the water. Another clever finish. Loved your song choice and the posts, Angela. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe.

    • Good Morning, Brooklyn. And thank you. And yes, easy and definitely clever. Have a good one, Paul. Be well and stay safe out there. 🌊🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Looked at puzzle first and was a bit stumped….until, CURRENTLY popped into the brain, after about a minute. Tada !!! Words were pretty easy to confirm jumble answer. A good victory to begin Saturday…and avoid being a DUNCE !!

    • LOL! Tada, indeed! Definitely a good puzzle to start the weekend. Enjoy your day, Terry. Be well and stay safe. 🌊🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Anagrams went quickly, but I had to pause on the cartoon ánswer before finally solving it.Almost too many letters for me to solve it.Maybe the trip up N to twin watch caused my brain to pause .Have a safe and sound weekend.

  9. Sailed right through the anagrams and cartoon answer this morning. Wishing all of you a good Saturday.

    • Good Morning, Betty. Wishing you a good Saturday too…Stay well and safe. 🌊🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. Hi all – I had to pause at SURVEY but saw the other words, and the answer was easy from the subject matter.

When I went online, the first thing I saw was “Gulf Stream” at the bottom of the cartoon and the first thing I thought was about how it seems to be weakening, so it was interesting that the teacher went on to mention it. If it does shut off, the climate in England will be more like Norway. In fact, it looks like the cartoon may be taking place in the rising-sea-level future, since it looks like the entire UK is submerged and the Mediterranean Sea has been breeched! 😂
And on a lighter note, it’s been quite a while since we’ve seen a proper “paunch” as used to appear frequently in the Jumble, but this guy’s got a good one going!

Good wishes to everyone. Had to laugh at “fathom” and “flow chart”, Angela.

“It took a real DUNCE to SURVEY the WARMTH of the water by jumping off the deck of the ocean LINER.”

    • Good Morning, Steve. LOL! Yes..I too thought it an outstanding paunch! And tks…But I think my closer sank! The play on counting to 5 in French? One is un (ahn)….Two is deux (deuh)….Three is trois (twah)….Four is quatre (katr)…Five is cinq (sank)….I had such high hopes! 😂😂 “Un Deux Trois” cat sank! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Enjoy your day, Steve. Be well and stay safe out there…🌊🙋🏻‍♀️

      • I didn’t mean to be a wet blanket on your pun. It’s very good, but I let it sink because I’d heard a variation of it before (not here) about transporting cats across The Seine.

        • Like the other day with who’s the plumber and who’s the doctor…and who’s in the operating room! 😂😂 And you know you could never be a wet blanket to me 😉! 🙋🏻‍♀️

  11. Had to solve both Friday and Saturday today! Friday words came quickly, but not the answer! Messed around with the letters about 3 times. Walked away from it (after looking and looking) Came back and nailed it. They say to do that, and it does work! I was close to peekin’ too! 😜 But thought I’d give the walk around a chance! Saturday’s answers were an ocean breeze compared to Friday for me! Angela, thanks for explaining your joke, Hon! I don’t know “French!” Talk about feeling like a “Dunce”! I thought “Why am I not understanding this?” 🤪 I felt so much better when you explained! Not to beleaguer Friday, but thought you kids were champs to see the James Bond thing! I’ve never seen any of the Bond movies in their entirety, so never would have picked up on that!

    • Hi Kimberly. I’m not into James Bond either, but I know the basic stuff. Trust me, most of what we have here all comes from Google. It’s like the Bible! You’ll see more proof of that tomorrow! 😉 As for my joke, there’s nothing to feel badly about. At all. I was probably pushing the envelope with it anyway…And I’m glad that you got the solves. They’re both great puzzles…Have a good night, Kim. Be well and stay safe out there…🌊🙋🏻‍♀️
