  1. Good morning. Easy breezy today from the words to the cartoon answer. Did they forget what day it is today. I read you message the other day to me Mike. Thanks for the response. Regarding the pizzeria. The one on Ave J is not that far from me and I asked guys about it and they didn’t think it was that special. However the other one they heard was really good although they never went there. Until tomorrow stay well.

  2. Good Morning, Everyone. 🏃🏻‍♀️I hope this finds you well…🏃🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

🎶 Ready or not here I come…Gee that used to be such fun…Apples peaches pumpkin pie, Who’s not ready? Holler “I” …That’s a game we used to play….Hide and seek was its name….Oh ready or not, hear I come,…Gee that used to be such fun….🎶…”Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie” – Jay & The Techniques” 1966-67 https://tinyurl.com/y49vurwb

🏃🏻‍♀️They hoped the park’d be EMPTY when they brought their kids to play,
The SONATA tracks they longed to hear would definitely make their day…
As they relaxed while kids played Tag and used the Jungle Gym,
Under the shade of BAMBOO trees the City had put in…
The IMAGE of the kids at play while they two got to sit…
Was all the Mothers wanted…and were hoping…SO BE IT…🏃🏻‍♂️

  3. 🎻 The maestro felt the SONATA about the BAMBOO tree was EMPTY of emotion, and not worthy of the IMAGE he wanted to project, and when his changes were rejected he said “SO BE IT”, and resigned…🎻

🔪 His neighbors BAMBOO bushes continued to grow wild,
He worried that what overlapped could maybe hurt his child…
He cringed over the IMAGE of his daughter getting stung
By any of the knife-like stems over the fence that hung…
He called out to the neighbor, but his cries on EMPTY ears
The man’s too loud SONATA caused no words able to hear…
So…he took it upon himself and chopped with all his grit
The stems over his property line…and figured…SO BE IT…🔪

  4. You come up with such wonderful oldies, Angela.
Sonata was the last clue word I got. I was helped by knowing I needed two consonants for the circles.
    Wishing all a great day.

    • Good Morning, Caroline. Thank you. I swear, lately I have trouble some days remembering what I cooked for dinner the night before…(and the quarantine has definitely made it worse)……but for some reason, I can hear a phrase, or see an image and a song immediately starts playing in my head…And this morning the 🎶Ready or not here I come🎶..just popped in! LOL! As for SONATA, the last time we saw it in February, it was the stumper for the day…

And I just noticed, that once again, in one of my replies to you, I addressed you as Betty! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Good thing we’re all Sisters under the skin…or this could get ugly! 😂😂 Wishing you have a good day, Caroline ..Be well and stay safe out there…🏃🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Thanks for the links. I didn’t catch the Betty reference but, as I’ve said before, I’m happy to be thought of with Betty. We are, as you say, Jumble sisters.

        • YVW, Caroline. And I’m happy to be thought of with our Betty too. 😘 It’s just that I always try to be aware of the Dale Carnegie quote… “A person’s name is to that person, the sweetest, most important sound in any language.” And I feel badly when I fall short! I just rush all too often…and my mind speeds ahead of my fingers!!! 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

  5. Three two letter words in the solution? I don’t recall that happening before. My original thought was be,is and to,rather than so be it.But my second thoughts worked out.

    • Good Morning, Professor. You may be right…And if I get some time, I’ll try to do a little research. No promises, but I’m curious now too. Maybe it’ll be easier to just ask David! 😉 Be well, Prof…and stay safe out there…🏃🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Wow I don’t remember a six letter solution before. Sonata took me the longest to solve this morning but the rest was easy. A shout out to my Jumble sisters, Caroline & Angela and wishing everyone else on this thread a good day as well.

    • Mia Sorella! 😘 Thank you…And I know right? Three 2-letter words? The Professor may well be right…Definitely different! But I love, love, love how these 3 little words set the stage for the PLAY of it all…No pun intended! SO BE IT..because he was tagged and now he’ll “BE IT”..and SO BE IT because he had to just “accept the fact”! With the the “Alright, alright”…perfectly fitting for each! Both Jeff with his dialogue and David with his pun did themselves proud with this one today…Short and sweet and you can’t help but love the wit! Have a good one, Betty…Be well and stay safe…🏃🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

    • …And that’s why we’re here, Mike! 😉 Stay well, and be safe out there! 🏃🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. This was a strange one for me in that I got the 6 letter words quickly but had to try several times before I got EMPTY and then IMAGE, and then needed to write the letters to see the answer, which from the simple letter layout looked like it should have been instant.

    Good wishes to everyone.

“The South Sea SONATA conjured up an IMAGE of BAMBOO flutes on secluded EMPTY beaches.”

      • Good one! Although the name of the channel’s owner (“Rebel Songbird”) now has The Crystals’ “He’s a Rebel” running through my head.

        • LOL…Give it time…Pretty soon you’ll be hearing the Marvelettes and 🎶Please Mr Postman🎶 playing! 😂🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. FYI:…..If any of you out there are anything like me, you’re always on the lookout for a “Feel-Good” Story..especially in light of what we’re living with today. Well David posted this on his Facebook page today, and I think I’ve found my Daily Winner! How cool is this? Kudos 👏🏻👏🏻Riya…And David, Good Luck to you both! 🙋🏻‍♀️
