🤷🏻♂️ The Father had no patience with his son’s FUSSY attitude towards his MULLET, and as his temper grew TO THE FULLEST and he became HOTTER and hotter…his wife put a stop to it when she started to EVOKE memories of her husbands former pony tail….🤷🏻♂️
🐠 She wasn’t all that FUSSY, but she had to draw the line,
When the waiter brought out MULLET that to her still smelt of brine…
A memory of fishing was what it did EVOKE
A trip that turned out badly…she remembered getting soaked…
She felt her face grow HOTTER, and not meaning to seem bullish,
She asked him to remove the fish…while gulping TO THE FULLEST…🐠
Seemed like another repeat on the anagrams,as I remembered evoke, and hotter also seemed familiar.Unfortunately w the virus shutting down indoor dining and shared buffets, buffets have become a thing of the past,
Good morning. Easy breezy from the words to the cartoon answer. The hint for the answer was so good I got it on my first thought. Until tomorrow stay well.
How about TROTHE instead of HOTTER?
Can’t get to the correct cartoon answer from there??
Hi Stephen. Good Morning. TROTHE isn’t a viable word. Troth is though….https://tinyurl.com/y3pwfbrv. Thanks for commenting. Be well and stay safe out there…🙋🏻♀️
Good evening. I just saw this and it would be very remiss of me not to pass this information on to Mr Webster that if he has any doubt on a word to check with the Webster dictionary because if it’s not there it’s not used in jumble. Take care. Come on, it couldn’t have been used any better. It was there for the taking.
Hi all – The double letter trick really sped up getting MULLET and HOTTER (didn’t we see HOTTER just recently?) “To the” seemed like a good guess in the answer, but I had to look at the other letters to get FULLEST.
I did indeed enjoy your video Mike, especially when he mentioned people comparing it to the buffets in Vegas. I was going to note that one of the things we enjoyed the most about going to Reno (besides getting married there 😂) were the very cheap and very good buffets. I guess it will be a long time before those reappear as before. Had to laugh – “Deep in the woods of Charlestown, RI” – they made it sound like the Black Forest or Transylvania! I must admit I had to use Wikipedia to find out anything about the city, even though it’s in a county adjacent to the one where I went to college.
Thanks for the comic links Angela! Maybe just a bit TMI in that first one though 😂
Good wishes to everyone.
“His MULLET was HOTTER than a crew-cut, but his retro band was FUSSY enough to insist on proper detail to EVOKE the spirit of the 80’s music they played.”
Hey Steve…We saw HOTTER here back in March, but we’ve seen it more recently in David’s online games. And as for dear old Ed? I thought the same thing…For some it’s a cup of coffee, maybe a cigarette…but I guess for Ed it’s the Jumble! 😂 Be well, Steve and stay safe out there…🙋🏻♀️
Easy one today. As Chuck mentioned, sadly buffets are Co-Victims. So many of our hotels and restaurants had great Sunday buffet brunches but no more. Our poor restaurants are trying desperately to hang on with outdoor dining – a real challenge in foggy San Francisco. Wishing all of you a good day.
What a coincidence! I just finished the jumble on my deck after a nice supper and really feel full.. I would even say that I ate to the fullest! An easy jumble tonight
Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…🙋🏻♀️
Ed Crankshaft and his daughter Pam….Art imitating Art!…Enjoy!
