  1. 🌽 Trying on the OUTFIT in the DRAFTY bedroom, she hoped that the SPIRAL pattern would work well for her virtual interview with the Corn KERNEL AGENCY…but picturing her resume, she wondered if the ITALIC font she’d used was too frou-frou…especially after it was APPARENT TO HER KIDS that it seemed unprofessional…🌽

🤦🏻‍♀️ She felt the SPIRAL coming, once again her vertigo
Was going to affect this day, by now easy to know…
The AGENCY she worked for, wasn’t such a great OUTFIT,
The boardrooms all so DRAFTY …so today wouldn’t cut it…
She sat up, grabbed her iPad, as her head spun even more,
The print appeared ITALIC…yep, it’s vertigo for sure…
Letters looking like small KERNELs, adrift across the screen,
She knew she’d need a helping hand…thank God she had her teens…
She reached to get the meds, the only way for this to rid…
And by now the situation was APPARENT TO HER KIDS…🤦🏻‍♀️

  2. I think this was the hardest jumble that I have ever worked on!! The six words were the hardest and very frustrating!!

    • Hi Susan. Good Morning. I’m sorry to hear that the words caused you so much frustration this morning. God knows we certainly don’t need more angst in our lives! 😉 All 6 words were previously used in our puzzles before, and maybe even an anagram or two…although I haven’t checked on that. But I will say that the solution today did challenge a few of my friends…it’s definitely a clever one! All I can say is I hope your day gets better…as much as we enjoy the Jumble…let’s be hopeful it’s the least of our problems! Be well, Susan…stay safe. 💐🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. Hi Everyone –
I got a kick out of your sentence, Angela, but hope your vertigo is not acting up.
After four years, I seem to be solving the puzzles faster. I recall many of the tough clue words, and I think I’m starting to think a little like David.
We set a temperature record of 29 degrees.

    • Good Morning, Caroline…Thank you! But yes, vertigo has reared it’s ugly head this morning…No pun intended! Kudos for your solving skills…And how lucky we’d be if we all thought like David, right? 😉 We started off very cold down here too this morning, but now with the bright sunshine, we’re inching closer to the projected 50°…Hope your day goes well, Caroline. Stay safe.💐🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. The 6 anagrams went quickly even spiral, but not so much for the cartoon solution.Sunday’s puzzle’s with the extra anagrams and letters tend to stump me.

  5. No problem with the words or cartoon solution this morning. They all fell into place nicely – a good way to start off the day. I wish all of you Mothers out there a Happy Mother’s Day, like all of the holidays recently a virtual one around here.
