  1. Good Morning, Everyone! 🐕‍🦺 WELL I’LL BE DOG….GONE! 🐕‍🦺

    🎶 It seems such a waste of time….If that’s what it’s all about, Mama if that’s movin’ up…Then I’m movin’ out…I’m MOVIN’ OUT…🎶 “I’m Moving Out” – Billy Joel 1977 https://tinyurl.com/y9x2l3xq

🦮🐕‍🦺 So, Fifi left and Gizmo right decided on a notion…
    They’d build themselves a doghouse…smooth as POETRY in motion…
I guess they’ve had enough of things…living beneath Jeff’s roof,
A CRIMP in doggie lifestyle…and the pudding became proof…
We might think Jeff’s a JOKER, that he’d TATTLE on his pets,
But this looks like the real thing, they have blueprints…they’re all set…
Perhaps life got too stressful, maybe there were many rules,
That prompted getting their permits, and gathering these tools…
So Fifi wants her own bed..doubling up she now rejects..
And she and Gizmo set out to complete their PET PROJECT ! 🐕‍🦺🦮

I have a friend in Brooklyn who’s a pigeon monger. Training and flying them since he was a kid, he’s now a man in his late 40’s who considers it much more than a hobby…and more of a lifetime PET PROJECT. He’s built coops for them, that in my opinion are akin to mini condos. These birds have heat in the winter, air condition in summer, automatic feed and water dispensers, recessed lighting on timers…and he even pipes in music. Trust me, this is gospel truth. And you’d think he was off his rocker, but it’s proven to be a very lucrative endeavor. He’s made thousands of dollars breeding and selling them, and tens of thousands racing them. Pigeons! Hard to believe, right? I mean here’s a guy who can look up into the sky while his birds are flying around up there with other peoples flocks, and identify which are his. And this, from the same guy that after so many years still can’t get the names of my brothers straight…And yes, I have kind of hounded him about it over time, but come on…it’s been years! I don’t know…maybe I’m just a little pecky…But anyway, I digress…Sorry, I flew way off on a tangent there. What I wanted to bring out, was that seeing the Doggie Townhouse that our pups have built themselves here today, well it just reminded me of the pigeon condos. Both very lofty undertakings…

Ok, our words. Once again today, they’re all ones that David’s releashed befur, last seen between April and November of last year…but we do have all new anagrams. And furtunately, none of them were ruff at all.

So, finding ourselves in the backyard of Jeff, our Jumble artist, and his lovely wife Kathy, we come upon a scene that might have pettentially been a problem. Whatevfur happened, besides Fifi having a bone to pick about the sleeping arrangements, was obviously enough to prompt our furry friends to apply for building permits, learn how to use tools, draw up plans, and refur to them in completing their project, building a dog house. And what we’re seeing here is the final paw, as Gizmo hangs a Home Sweet Home plaque over the entryway. But the paws and effect? We may never know. Were the living arrangements that bad that they kibbled all the time and would rather bid furwell instead of hammering it out? Did the dogs try working it out with Kathy and Jeff, only to find that they were barking up the wrong tree? And with them both being rescue dogs, wouldn’t you think that they’d be more appreciative of their owners? One just can’t help but wonder what was so pawful about living there…I guess it’s impawsible to know fur sure. But we see our dogs, Fifi, the Chiweezie, and Gizmo, the Papillon, putting what looks to be the finishing touches on their new home. They’ve completed their PET PROJECT…

Eye candy? A full house…Jeff, drinking coffee from a Jumble mug, in a T-shirt that looks familiar, but I can’t nail it down, is wearing cuffed jeans. A different turn of events…He’s shocked to see what’s going on, and wonders aloud if that’s his electric circular saw on the ground. Kathy, having to clip short a phone conversation, is dressed in a Indiana University Tee, and she’s as stunned as Jeff. Fifi, holding the building plans, is furiously wagging her tail…all in anticipation of the old “let sleeping dogs lie”…alone. And strewn across the ground is an appropriately named claw hammer, a tape measure, a hand saw, and a box holding nails. But it’s Gizmo who’s collared the win. Not only is he wearing a tool belt, he’s got a pencil wedged behind his left ear. And what makes that so funny is that Gizmos right ear is permanently bent. A pet peeve? No, just a litter bit of whimsy on Jeff’s part…So, There you have it, Folks. Done. Wishing you all a peaceful day…And to Fifi and Gizmo…and their first meal in their new home…I wish them Bone-a-pet-treat! 🦮🐕‍🦺🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Ever the JOKER, when he decided to TATTLE on his friends, it put a CRIMP in their plans for their PET PROJECT, the POETRY recital….🤷🏻‍♂️

🤦🏻‍♂️He plagiarized the POETRY, and hoped no one would TATTLE,
He knew it wrong, but went ahead, although his nerves were rattled…
The guy who was a JOKER, always acting like a simp,
Might blow the whistle on him…and for sure that’d cause a CRIMP…
He needs to ask him him furtively to keep his jokes in check,
If not he’ll be a failure…and there goes his PET PROJECT…🤦🏻‍♂️

  3. Good morning. Another easy breezy jumble. All this without even a cup of coffee yet. After putting down the letters and staring at the letters for a couple of minutes the answer finally sunk in. Clever finish, much better than yesterday’s conclusion. Loved the song choice Angela. Stay safe and until tomorrow take care.

    • Good Morning, Brooklyn, and I agree. Another easy, breezy. And very cute to boot! Glad you enjoyed Billy Joel, he’s definitely one of NY’s finest…I’ve loved him from the start, and he’s still Aces in my book,,,Be well, Paul. Stay safe. 🐕‍🦺🦮🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Yes, Prof. Nothing ruff about this puzzle at all. Hope you’re having a Good Morning…Be well, stay safe. 🦮🐕‍🦺🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. Hi all – TATTLE slowed me down, figuring out how to spread all those T’s. I needed the letters to get the answer, but PROJECT jumped out.

“Bone-a-pet-treat” indeed Angela, good one! What caught my eye online was the punk emoji in sunglasses on Jeff’s T-shirt. What’s up with that? And the Indiana logo.

    Good wishes to everyone.

    • LOL! BONE-a-pet-treat! Tks! …Actually, I think it came to me more because we were eating breakfast at the time, and it’s something we always say to one another before every meal. Well, not “that” literally…but you know what I mean…So as I said it…Voila! 😉 And yes, Jeffs T-Shirt. I know I’ve seen it beFUR, maybe even here…but as I said in my post, I couldn’t NAIL it down..As FUR Kathys shirt? Well that’s just ALPOpro…It’s her Alma Mater…Be well, Steve. Stay safe…🦮🐕‍🦺🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Easy one today. My neighbors’ pets, mostly dogs are truly loving this shelter in place business. They are happy having everyone home and walking two or three times a day. Stay well, all. 🐶
