The anagrams and cartoon solution indeed were ” Fit as a fiddle”.I wanted to share a note on Mar 19, St Joseph’s day.Growing up,the pastor of our church was Msgr Joseph Gerz.Being a Joseph,he declared St Joseph’s day,a school holiday,so we always had a free day from grade school. So in his memory, have a Happy St Joseph’s Day.
Good morning. Loved today’s cartoon answer. The words were easy except Dismal took a couple of minutes longer to achieve so that’s my choice for hardest word. You might say that after scoring a victory today I’d say “ I’m Fit As A Fiddle”myself. Have a great day and stay well.
Once again I was able to guess the answer before unscrambling the words. Many times this helps me unscrambling a difficult word. Today I was fit as a fiddle!!!
Hi all – Saw the answer from the letter layout and cartoon. Had to jumble DISMAL for a couple of minutes; it wasn’t a “damsil in distress”.
Good wishes to everyone.
“The poor guy wound up with a triple-DIGIT bill to ADAPT his car’s exhaust system to MUFFLE the DISMAL noise it was making, but at least now it’s FIT AS A FIDDLE”.
You can’t say Charlie Daniels without thinking of that Devil…Have a good one, Everyone..And Happy St Joseph’s Day to all the Joes out there…Especially…You know who you are…♥️🙋🏻♀️

🎻 Despite his other violins, old Charlie liked her best,
He could ADAPT to others…but this one topped all the rest..
When the Devil went to Georgia…would have been a DISMAL day
If Charlie didn’t have her…’cause with her he better played
He’d set his DIGIT on the bow…no MUFFLE sound would he,
The strings caressed like man would do to his beloved she…
The music he made sweet and hot…like as if on a griddle…
And Charlie took his violin…repaired FIT AS A FIDDLE 🎻
Thanks Angela for that great song it brought back fond memories. Myself and my youngest son and daughter-in-law were listening to songs drinking wine when that came on and my daughter-in-law sang along with it and knew every word. I was amazed. It seems she’s been singing it in her house ever since she was little. We had a lot of laughs playing a wide array of instrumental songs. Take care.
