CARTOON ANSWER: TO WIN THE GAME, THE STARTER AND THE TWO RELIEVERS – – –

LA   DTH   PIE   CLNI =  ALL PITCHED IN

Good Morning, Everyone!                ⚾️ PITCH PERFECT? ⚾️

🎶 Take me out to the BALL GAME, Take me out with the crowd…Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack, I don’t care if I never get back…Let me root, root, root for the home TEAM, If they don’t win it’s a shame…For it’s ONE, TWO, THREE STRIKES you’re out at the old BALL GAME…🎶 “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” – (Written by): Jack Norworth and Albert Von Tilzer 1908

⚾️ Some DITCH a job, some walk a PLANK, tho hypothetical,
The things we do just to attend a game of pro Baseball.
We root on our best pitchers, as they EXPIRE our foes…
We watch the strikeouts pile up, we follow every throw.
They go through Pitching CLINICs, they practice every day,
They team up with the bullpen…together’s how they play…
While hits are always needed, the runs go for the win…
It’s on the mound we want the guys who we know ALL PITCHED IN! ⚾️

All of our words today were last PLAYED during the STRETtCH of February to August 2017…And none of the Early Morning Jumblers STRUCK OUT with any of them…So let’s just WALK OUT ON THE FIELD…

Today we find ourselves standing on the MOUND (aka the HILL), of a BASEBALL FIELD, at the end of a Jumblers GAME. Three PLAYERS, are animatedly speaking to one another, THROWING praise around. The three agree that they’ve WON the GAME, due to their TEAM effort. We read that they’re the STARTER, and his two RELIEVERS. But notice what word is not POPPING UP? PITCHER! MAJOR HIT! I mean HINT! So, the question POSED: What did the three do IN ORDER to win the game! They ALL PITCHED IN! Easy, breezy, a SOLID HIT! Good one, David!

Ok, eye candy. Our Big Three, outfitted in Red Caps, with the “J” Logo, Red Pants, and White Jerseys, are, at LEFT,  the STARTER…offering the GAME BALL to the CLOSER, and in the middle, the first RELIEVER, a LEFTIE, praising the STARTER. The CLOSER, a RIGHT-HANDED PITCHER, wearing wrist bands, is heard saying that it was a TEAM effort. On the MOUND, the PITCHER’S PLATE can be seen, and out past the OUTFIELD, the SCOREBOARD. But the HIT of the cartoon today? The INFIELDER seen off to the LEFT, cheering, leaping, and throwing his glove way into the air. Talk about a POP UP! So, There you have it, Folks! Done! Have a great day, Everyone!..And that’s it for me…I’ll need some RELIEF, if this day’s to be SAVED…⚾️🙋🏻
