🎶 I like to go BOWLING with my friend Bert, with my BOWLING BALL and my BOWLING SHIRT...I like to roll the BALL down the LANE…On a good day, I throw a few STRIKES…Making some SPARES after what I like…BOWLING is my kind of game…I ain’t for the one, and two, and three and four, five pins down the LANE…With the boom and the bang, they hit the floor…And i throw the BALL again…I like to go BOWLING with my friend Bert, with my BOWLING BALL and my BOWLING SHIRT…BOWLING is my kind of game…🎶 “The Bowling Song” – Asleep At The Wheel  2001

🎳 To Bowl a perfect 300, one needs to have the skill…
It’s not something that comes along because you have the will.
It can bring on the FEVER, a Bowler gets intense…
You won’t find a true Bowler hanging out near “Shoes for Rent”…
There’s teams that have the strangest names, like SPOOKY and TOXIN,
Or “Pin Pals” like our players here…some give you quite a grin.
Where “No Man Is An ISLAND“, and ones’ teammates form a bond…
The group gets out and tries their best once Bowling Shirts are donned.
But an individual Bowler plays his best because he knows…
That he wants to be the one who gets to smile and STRIKE A POSE! 🎳

While checking to see if any of our words were new, I noticed that we’ve had other BOWLING themed puzzles in the not too distant past. In both April and June, we also found ourselves trying to PIN down a puzzle that dealt with BOWLING. Interesting fact I thought…And with all our words today being Sweet Repeats, I found it hard to PIN DOWN the most difficult…So, I’m going to leave that to you Folks..after all, this is a TEAM effort! Moving on to our cartoon FRAME, today we find ourselves at a BOWLING ALLEY, where 5 members of the PIN PALS are celebrating a PERFECT GAME having been thrown. With the 300 shown illuminated on the Scoreboard in the BACKground, we see that there’s 3 different Cell Phones looking to capture this momentous occasion. Our King PIN, BOB, is smiling broadly as he POSES. And he seems to FOLLOW THROUGH as he’s asked by the only other male BOWLER to hold his BALL HIGHER, so as to get it into the shot. Since a PERFECT GAME consists of 12 STRIKES, and it’s said that the odds of the AVERAGE male BOWLING one are about 11,500 to 1, we can see where this is no minor accomplishment….And explains why the PIN PALS are asking BOB to…STRIKE A POSE! Good one, David! LANE and Simple!

Ok, eye candy…The pickins’ today are kind of sparse…A lot of grins, and the SHIRTS are cute, with their PINS, …But there are the two other names embroidered on the women’s shirts…LAVERNE has her arm around BOB, and SHIRLEY’S the one looking for the Group Photo. Great detail and cute little Trivia reference, Jeff…You’re a regular BIG SHOTZ! So, There you have it, Folks…Done! Have a great day, Everyone…And remember…Don’t settle for just being AVERAGE in life, and SPARE yourself those SPLIT decisions…Instead, get out there, and STRIKE ’em dead! 🎳🙋🏻
