Jumble Answers for 06/15/2018

Good Morning, Everyone!         🌎 GO AHEAD EARTH…MAKE MY DAY! 🌎

EARTH Angel, EARTH Angel…Will you be mine? My Darling Dear..love me all the time…I’m just a fool …(just a fool)…A fool in love, with you…🎶

🌎 What we see DRAWN for us today, is POTENT as its real,
We once again are sharing in the wisdom that is Neil’s…
He’s s teaching more young children, ’bout the power up above,
And shaping these young minds in hopes that science they might love.
While some study ’bout LARVA, and others go towards ground,
deGrasse Tyson’s all about the Cosmos so unbound…
He’s BUSILY showing these young kids things that surely astound…
And he’s at it with his heart and soul…he teaches ...ALL YEAR ROUND! 🌎

Our words today are all Sweet Repeats, the most recently seen being LARVA, which CRAWLED onto our pages back in February. While they’re not OUT OF THIS WORLD words, perhaps POTENT may be in the TOP TEN, and cause a slight STOP OVER. Ok…Our cartoon today brings us to the HAYDEN PLANETARIUM, in NY City, where we see renowned Astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson once again teaching about the SOLAR SYSTEM. I say once again, since you may remember Mr. deGrasse Tyson being here with us three weeks ago, on May 24th. Today he’s showing a group of young children, perhaps on their school year-end field trip, the wonders of the EARTH ORBITing the SUN. Our dialogue tells us that he’s using words such as SOLSTICE and EQUINOX, but as usual, he makes things interesting by putting a NEW SPIN on it. As one child asks how long it takes for the EARTH to go AROUND the SUN, the children’s teacher, standing to the right, answers “365 DAYS”…a YEAR. So when our question is asking…The EARTH ORBITS the SUN???….We answer with…ALL YEAR ROUND! BOOM! Good one, David! SUNsational! Ok, eye candy…We have HEAVENly bodies of our SOLAR SYSTEM hanging in the background…and SATURN is RINGing a bell. I think I’ll give it the CONSTELLATION prize today. So, There you have it, Folks, Done! Have a great day, Everyone! It’s Friday…Get yourself ready for a STELLAR weekend…All you have to do is PLANET right! 🌎🙋🏻

  1. Silkworm LARVA can be DRAWN toward a POTENT odor and BUSILY investigate the pleasing aroma.
No problem with clue words or the solution–even though there were lots of letters. YEAR jumped out and the cartoon gave me the answer. Clever work.
Golden Oldie Angela—I may be humming it all morning.
I had forgotten that we have had Neil deGrasse Tyson before–thanks for reminding us. He’s a great inspiration to all educators, or should be IMHO.
Fantastic Friday post and I am looking forward to a fabulous day –walking, biking and the breezes along Lake Ontario. Ciao.

    • Good Morning, Earl. Your sentence,,,Worms! …early in the morning! Love it..hate it! LOL…Yes, beautiful Golden Oldie tune today. Always up there in the TOP TEN. Thanks for the Shout Out, and I agree with you wholeheartedly re: deGrasse Tyson. He’s a breath of fresh air when it comes to education. Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL day here too..Hope you enjoy your outdoor activities! Ciao! 🌍🌞🙋🏻

    • Good Morning, Edward. It’s published early online, and I’m not the best sleeper! Thanks for stopping by. I hope I gave you an early morning smile! Have a great day! 🌍🙋🏻

  2. Morning, all –
YEAR popped out but I couldn’t get the rest of the answer until I separated the consonants and vowels, which I’ve learned to do here. That let me to find ALL, and it was easy from there.
Thanks for explaining the cartoon, Angela, and for some funny puns. Earl, I was wondering if your sentence had some truth to it. I don’t know much about larva.

    • Good Morning, Caroline. You’re very welcome. I enjoy exploring the cartoon and finding all the candy! Larva? I don’t know anything either, Caroline…and I’m happy to stay as unaware as possible! Earl has an amazing imagination! Thanks for the Shout Out, and I hope you have a great day! 🌍🙋🏻

  3. Good morning. Great job Angela. You nailed it with that song. I probably have that record in what’s left of my 78s. ❤️ that song. The rest of the work was inspiring and between you and Earl gave me a few laughs. Today’s puzzle was a pleasure. Potent gave me a pause and when I moved to the cartoon I crossed off “all” first. Staring at the picture and seeing 365 days, the last two words came into view. Another great answer which made me smile. Until tomorrow stay well.

    • Hey Brooklyn. Been sitting in traffic on the Belt on my way to St Charles. We left at 9 and thought we’d be ok. HA! Yea, ok…An hour plus later and we’re only at 32 on the Southern State..Anyway..Glad you enjoyed the song. One of my all time favorites. Paul, you have it on a 78? I have 2 of my Fathers 45s..I still listen to it every now and then. It’s one of those songs that gets ya right in the stomach, right? 😉 Always happy to give you a laugh, and I’m glad you got through the puzzle sans stress! It’s a goodie today! Thanks for your Shout Out, and hope you have the bestest day, as my Littles say! 🌍🙋🏻

      • Feel for you sitting in traffic. It seams like almost every time I go out to L I. I’m stuck in traffic,no matter when I leave. I dread the trip. There is usually an accident or two on the way. Earth Angel brings back fond memories of slow dancing with my wife especially when we were teenagers.

      • Just starting to head back. And you’re right…always so much traffic coming out here…At least you start out from Brooklyn ..doing it from Staten Island? Murder! Brooklyn, you’re getting to me with the memory. And I’d like to believe I just finished my crying for today! 😉. Tell ya what..I’m still slow 💃🏻 dancing to 🎶Earth Angel 🎶 Next time I do? Dedicated to you, Bud! 😉 Traffic’s moving…Finger’s crossed! Talk to you later🙋🏻

    • Hey Chuck! POTENT’s proving to be the STRONG front runner today! Glad you worked AROUND the solution! I laugh at you’re “looking forward” to your trip. Only because I’m sitting in traffic on our Belt Pkwy, and thinking of tying the “Belt” AROUND my neck! 😂 Happy you’ll have that Ace-in-the-Hole link I gave you..Puzzle Pleasure wherever you are! 😉 Have a good one, Chuck! 🌍🙋🏻

  4. DONE! Yesterday’s Jumble puzzle brought back childhood memories of hearing Sonic Booms in the sky, and I like today’s puzzle, too. Fun and quick to solve.

Steve, thanks for sharing the AGT site yesterday with the 13 yr old singer. Wow!

      • I will note that there might have been some citations if the Oakland police had looked at open containers, but then probably half the team would have had to leave the parade!

    • Hi Leila. Agreed..Easy, breezy and cute! The whole week has been a breeze. And trow’s no exception…Another piece of cake! Have a great day! 🌍🙋🏻

  5. Hi all – No problem with the words today. Thought the first word of the answer was ‘THE’ until I wrote down the letters.

Great song to be reminded of Angela. Maybe pair it up with Frankie Avalon’s “Venus” or Wing’s “Venus and Mars.”

I’m not finding much to comment on in the puzzle, so I’ll just look forward to a relaxing day after a hectic Thursday and wish you all a great Friday and weekend.

    • Hey G. I had a few people telling me real early this morning that they immediately pulled out ONE and DAY, and were stuck for a moment. Good choices both, but easy to get LOST IN SPACE that way! Always loved, 🎶Venus🎶, but it could only be 🎶EARTH Angel🎶today. Puzzle called for it! And besides, it warmed Paul’s heart. 😉 Priceless! Rest, relax, recover…Have a good one, Bud! Talk to you later…💤🙋🏻
