Good morning and happy Wednesday my friends!  FALLEN was the most difficult anagram for me to decipher as I thought it was FLANNEL at first and couldn’t seem to get it out of my head.  After a minute of staring at it, I was able to pull through and make my way to the cartoon.  Jumble enthusiasts would immediately recognize the two caricatures in today’s cartoon as David Hoyt and Jeff Knurek who are the current creative team behind our beloved puzzle.  David can be seen frantically searching his desktop computer for a missing puzzle while Jeff searches for his misplaced stylus which he believes is somewhere in the mountain of trash beneath his desk.  Jeff’s two dogs (Gizmo and Fifi) can be seen looking on at all the commotion and probably think he’s on the floor for some playtime.  Jeff added a few fun details to his cartoon including his Poi shirt as well as a crumpled up section of the comics page in the trash identifiable by the Family Circus panel with its trademark circular border.  The answer to this puzzle was a quick solve after writing out the clue letters and a fitting solution to such a chaotic scene.  Have a wonderful Wednesday and I’ll see you tomorrow!  🙂
