HLIEW = WHILE

LRUBB = BLURB

RATEHH = HEARTH

FRIDTA = ADRIFT

CARTOON ANSWER:

WLELBEARDIF = BID FAREWELL

Good morning everyone and happy Wednesday!  HEARTH was the only clue word that had me stumped!  With all the words solved it was on to the cartoon answer. After reading the cartoon I was hoping that the answer didn’t have anything to do with Bridge as I’ve never played.  At first I thought the solution had ALL as the three letter word.  I couldn’t come up with an eight letter word to fit with the remaining letters.  I saw WELL and then BID and then it all clicked.  Is BID FAREWELL a bridge term?  Either way I had fun with only moderate difficulty.  Take care and I’ll see you tomorrow!  😀

CARTOON ANSWER:

GUKIHH = “HIGH-KU”

Good morning everyone!  It was a pretty easy puzzle this morning.  ADAGE had me confused for a few seconds because I always think it is spelled with two D’s.  Great cartoon and great word choices overall.  Have a super day and I’ll see you tomorrow!  😀

CARTOON ANSWER:

Good morning everyone!  I hope you had a great weekend so let’s dive right into the puzle.  All the clue words were rather easy. INNING was jumbled very well. Since there were only 6 letters in the final answer, I knew it was going to be pretty easy. Sure enough the answer popped right out at me!  Have a wonderful day and see you tomorrow!  😀

LEFTE = FLEET

LUVAT = VAULT

SOFAIC = FIASCO

THYPRO = TROPHY

CARTOON ANSWER:

FLEULTFAOTRO = ALL-OUT EFFORT

Good Saturday morning everyone and I hope you’re enjoying your weekend so far.  Todays puzzle was a fun one and not overly difficult.  TROPHY stumped me for a few extra seconds but after that I had all the letters for the cartoon answer.  Starting out I was looking for something with “TRI” as there were three players in the cartoon.  When that didn’t work,  a quick jumble of the letters on my notepad caused EFFORT to jump right out at me.  The rest was easy and a great puzzle finish.  Any big plans this weekend?  I’m currently finishing my basement (media room/office/bathroom/3 closets) and will spend most of my time there.  I’m not much of a handyman so it has been a truly rewarding experience!  All that’s left is some paint and installing the carpet.  I’ll be sure to post photos when I’m done. I’ll see you tomorrow and JUMBLE ON my friends!

ATVIL = VITAL

OYARN = RAYON

OBEWLB = WOBBLE

EDDGER = DREDGE

CARTOON ANSWER:

VTARONWOBDREE = WENT OVERBOARD

TGIF my Jumble friends! What a FANTASTIC puzzle and a great way to end the week. RAYON had me puzzled for a couple of minutes but I finally found it. With all the clue words solved I moved on to the cartoon portion. Seeing that the cartoon stated “design of his new yacht” it led me to believe that one of the words would be DRAW or DREW. I went with that at first and when that didn’t work I saw BOARD. Well OVER was a good fit of the remaining letters and WENT was easily visible. That’s how I solved it and the cartoon was awesome. So much detail in the tiny panel!  Great job Jeff!!!

My OFFICIAL Jumble coffee mug arrived today I was excited to open it! Here are a couple of photos. Show your Jumble pride and consider treating yourself to one. This is the large mug and here is the link: http://www.cafepress.com/ilovejumble

Have a great Friday and I’ll see you tomorrow. Jumble on my friends 😀

SUTGE = GUEST

ALQEU = EQUAL

SOTFRY = FROSTY

GHUATT = TAUGHT

CARTOON ANSWER:

GEULRSG = SLUGGER

Good morning and Happy Monday everyone.  Are you ready for another week of Jumble puzzles?  I sure am so let’s get started!

I got the first clue word quickly and figured I’d be on a roll.  For some reason EQUAL had me puzzled. I thought it was QUALE but it didn’t look right so I tried again. After that pause I got it right and the rest of the puzzle was effortless.

Did you notice the sluggers nose in the cartoon?  It sure was mangled and was a good detail drawn in by Jeff.  Have a great day and be well. See you tomorrow!

DALEG = GLADE

GEMER = MERGE

GUNELO = LOUNGE

THORYW = WORTHY

CARTOON ANSWER:

GLDMRELOEWO = WELL-GROOMED

Good morning my friends.  Saturday’s puzzle was an easy one and I solved it rather quickly. GLADE caused me to do a double take though just to make sure I got it correct.  After solving all the words, I had all the letters to construct the cartoon answer.  WELL popped right out at me for some reason and GROOMED was obvious.  I’m always curious if the people in the cartoons are actual people?!  Steven and Sally were looking beautiful nonetheless.

Yesterday I posted a link to the website where you can actually buy a coffee mug that is featured in the Jumble puzzles.  I’ll continue to post it for a week or two just so everyone has an opportunity to look at them and decide if they’d like to purchase one. I received an email that the large mug that I purchased has shipped!  So excited to get it and I’ll definitely post a picture when it arrives. Here’s the link:  http://www.cafepress.com/ilovejumble

Enjoy your weekend and let me know if you have any big plans. I’m quick to reply and always enjoy hearing your thoughts.  See you tomorrow!  😉

YALBW = BYLAW

FARET = AFTER

LOBYDL = BOLDLY

SEEMSA = SESAME

CARTOON ANSWER:

BLAFERBODSSE = SELF ABSORBED

Good morning everyone and HAPPY FRIDAY (TGIF)!  What a stumper of a puzzle did I wake up to?!  I had a great degree of difficulty with this one and here is my blogversation:  I was tripped up on BYLAW, BOLDLY and SESAME.  Brilliant letter jumbling by David L. Hoyt!  After I FINALLY figured out the clue words, the cartoon led me to believe it would equate to a SpongeBob SquarePants reference.  Jeff Knurek gave NOTHING away in the cartoon and I couldn’t have been more pleased. After doing some jumbling of the letters on my trusty notepad, I found SELF.  ABSORBED came shortly thereafter for a terrific end to a relatively easy week of puzzles.  Here’s hoping the Saturday and Sunday puzzles are just as challenging as I dislike “breezing” my way though them.

I recently watched a YouTube video by David and Jeff and noticed that there was a coffee mug in them that is the same one as in the Jumble cartoons.  I sent both of them a tweet and discovered that you can actually BUY one.  I purchased one this evening and encourage everyone to consider doing so as well. Show your JUMBLE PRIDE and support the puzzle we ❤️.  Here’s the link if you’re interested:  http://www.cafepress.com/ilovejumble

Have a great weekend and let me know if you have any big plans in the comments section (or if you ordered a mug like I did)!

NECTAC = ACCENT

EEPPOL = PEOPLE

CARTOON ANSWER:

RCAMACCTOP = COMPACT CAR

Good morning everyone and happy Thursday!  A very simple Jumble this morning.  Neither the clue words or the cartoon answer gave me any trouble. I would venture to guess that if you got stuck anywhere along the way that ACCENT was the culprit.  Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow!

AUGGE = GAUGE

LAASI = ALIAS

TRONHW = THROWN

CLASIO = SOCIAL

CARTOON ANSWER:

AUGALSTHNSOI = TOUGH AS NAILS

Good morning and happy Wednesday!  Before attempting to solve the puzzle, I like to check the visitor count to the website to get a sense of puzzle difficulty.  I was excited to see triple the amount of visitors as usual!  I started the game and the only clue word to give me a hiccup was SOCIAL.  The cartoon answer was what gave me all the trouble!  After reading the dialogue between the two men, I started searching for a word that had to do with a father/son relationship.  I thought sons at first, but it had to be five letters.  After a couple minutes of no luck I moved on to the two letter word.  It was a tough one as well as all the usual suspects were there (IN ON NO SO TO AS AT).  I just couldn’t find a word to put me on my way to finishing!  I did a quick scramble of the letters on my notepad and I saw nail.  I reasoned AS and TOUGH out of the remaining letters and had the S left over to make nail plural.  Did you solve it a different way?  Feel free to leave a comment and I’ll see you tomorrow!  😀
