Good Monday morning everyone! No real difficulty with the words today. PRAAT took me an extra second but after that my brain was working faster than my fingers could type. The letter layout was great and at first I saw FULL and decided to go with it. After finding TANK and THE, I quickly figured out that it was FILL instead. The cartoon was well drawn and it got me thinking about gas station attendants and the fact that you never see them anymore (at least in my area). Great word choices again today! I didn’t have any trouble solving the words. RELIC has been used many times in the past and it tends to give some Jumble players a bit of a headache. The cartoon was well drawn and had plenty of detail for such a small space. Great job Jeff!
My family and I took a trip on Friday to the New Hampshire White Mountains to drive to the top of Mount Washington (the highest peak in the Northeastern US) with an elevation of 6,288. I had big plans of posting a beautiful picture from the top, however; the weather this morning is overcast and cloudy. The forecast was supposed to be sunshine and partly cloudy skies this weekend so I’m rather bummed that it isn’t cooperating. We’re still going to the top as we didn’t drive 2.5 hours for nothing! Happy Tuesday, and good morning to all of my loyal Jumble friends. I hope you had a great nights rest and awoke refreshed and ready for another Jumble puzzle! I quickly solved the first three jumbled words and paused a moment on the fourth. With all the words solved I was able to move on to the cartoon answer (my FAVORITE part). HOG was obvious and THE was pretty easy as well. The rest (HIGH ON) was easily visible seconds later. I enjoyed the cartoon and, well anything to do with the Looney Toons actually. They don’t make caroons like that much anymore. Today it seems that kids only watch YouTube videos (might just be my son) and they are missing out on the great Saturday morning cartoons. Pretty easy solve today. No words gave me any problems and the cartoon answer was a cinch. SWING was clearly visible and FULL came up right after that. Plenty of rain is forecasted for my state today (New Hampshire) and you won’t hear me complain. My lawn is burnt to a crisp so any and all is welcome. Good Tuesday morning everyone! I haven’t solved the cartoon before unscrambling the words in quite some time so it was a pleasant surprise for me to be able to do so. The only word that took a few extra seconds was TORRID. I have NO COMMENT on the general election candidates, however; I’ll say this. The great thing about living in New Hampshire is that they ALL come here early and often and it’s easy to engage with them. Let me change the subject though and dedicate this solution to those that work overnight shifts. It’s difficult work and I’ve done it for MANY years in the past.
