CARTOON ANSWER: THE TWO HOUSES FOR LEASE LOOKED ALIKE, BUT IT WAS EASY TO SPOT THE – – –

RR   FID   FNS   ETE   =   “DIFFER-“RENTS

Good Morning, Everyone!            🏡  The LEASE You Can DUE?  🏡

🎶 Lady Madonna, children at your feet, wonder how you manage to make ends meet…Who finds the money when you pay the RENT?…Did you think that money was heaven sent?…🎶…Beatles:1968

🏠 Side by side they stand there, alike from what we see,
But why is one going for more? A mystery to me…
Perhaps a JESTER stands at bay, a joke behind the scenes?
Or maybe there’s a FUNGUS bloomed in 1814’s greens?
A RAZOR sharp mind’s needed here…but I’m so not a Druid,
It’s early and my thoughts so far are not exactly FLUID
I think whoever’s causing all this extra to be spent?
Should hang a sign explaining why there’s such a “DIFFER-RENTS”! 🏠

So, we’ve made it to Wednesday, and we’re still STANDING as tall as our HOUSES here…None of today’s words are new, and if you have a RAZOR sharp memory, you may realize that we’ve seen them all within the past year…FLUID as recently as January. And since none of them stopped me in my TRACTSLET’s MOVE on to today’s solution…We find ourselves at the SITE of new HOUSING. TWO PROPERTIES are shown, looking like TWINS…but alas..one’s calling for more fins! We see that they’re both being LEASED by the JUMBLE PROPERTIES REALTORS, and a DIFFER-RENTS of $150 is being asked…And we ask…”What’s UP with that”? Are they DIFFERRENT inside? The kitchens perhaps? One looking a little HOTTER than the other? They stand alike, they look alike…At times they even cook alike…? Now, there’s a little Trivia Tease for you…What does that line remind you of? (Hint: Lyrics from a TV SHOW Jingle…SECOND Hint..Look above)…Anyway, our question is stating…What’s obviously REAL E-STATED? The “DIFFER-RENTS“! HA! Clever! Easy, breezy, you get a MONTH’S RENT free! It’s the LEASE the JUMBLE PROPERTY BROTHERS can do! Good one, Guys!

Ok, eye candy…Hmm. What can I say? Little BIRDS atop each HOUSE, one dark tallied, the other not? But that’s not enough to get OVER…And all I’m thinking of is the 1812 OVERture…Or should I say the 1812 OVER Charge? TBT, nothing’s coming into SITE…And the PLOT thickens…I’m just going to LET it go…So, There you have it, Folks, Done! Have a great day, Everyone!…And don’t LET anything get you DOWN today…🏠🙋🏻

  1. Jumble was easy but my email has gone bonkers. I can receive but not send. They all go to Drafts and I get a window about reducing spam. Anybody help a poor computer challenged Hoosier?

    • Good Morning, Harry. I don’t know who’s “out” here besides you and I. It’s early. Wish I could help, but I’m no techie. Good Luck. 🙋🏻

  2. The court JESTER and self-appointed healer, used a straight RAZOR to release a magical FLUID and obscured the king’s digital FUNGUS.
No problem with the clue words and the solution was easily reached when I spotted the “different” addresses on the rental houses—no difficulty with today’s pun.
Angela–love your song choice and i especially like your reference to the title/performers/etc. Thanks for that. Your poem was short but definitely to the point. Like the Druid rhyme with FLUID.
I expect there will be more from you later, so I’ll check in again.
    Have a great day everyone.

    • Good Morning, Earl. Sorry, putting the post up a little SPOTty today. As usual, I’m juggling..This keeps UP, I’ll be ready to audition for the Circus soon! 😂 Yep, another easy, breezy one today…And once again, the answer? A gift! So, FUNGUS aside..😳, your sentence is PRICE..LESS! You, Sir, have the most vivid imagination! 👏🏻 Kudos! Thanks for the Shout Out and the Poem Nom…I’ve been waiting to use Druid for a while now! 😉 I like the word too! And you’re welcome…Yes, I’ve decided to add the Artist and date with the daily music…But for the RECORD..A nod to Paul for bringing it to the foreFRONT. 😉 I think I got the final piece of the POST UP just as you were doing yours, so I’m sorry you missed it…DUE check in again! Wishing you a great day, TWO, Sir! 🏠🙋🏻

  3. Good morning. To the Queen of poems and puns, I thank you for all your work. Nice choice for the song, as well as yesterday. I must admit I don’t think I’ve ever heard Bing sing that song before. But then again I’d like to think I was just a baby when he was at his prime. Earl, kudos to you. As to today’s jumble, I had no trouble with the words and then when I saw the cartoon answer in quotation marks I just caved in. I had very little sleep and everybody knows how I hate these answers, so it was easy to quit. I have no ill feelings about giving up. As I’m writing this I’m chucking at the same time. Until tomorrow stay well. PS. Thanks for putting the song title down.

    • Good Morning, Brooklyn…You do know how you make me laugh, right? A Baby? Sure, 😉 Whatever keeps you happy! But I’m glad you listened to it, it is the cutest song. Todays song title? No thanks necessary…It was your idea really. You see I gave you the nod in my reply to Earl…And even though I know there’s no love lost between you and the Beatles, it is as you’ve said a nice choice. Once again…Thank You soooo much for all your Shout Outs…you’re the Sweetest 😘 Man. Ok, so….Paul…What’re you saying here? You really gave up? Hard to tell with you..chuckling and all…And I do think I’m starting to get used to that wry Brooklyn sense of humor of yours…And RENTS did just about jump off the page…Hmm. C’mon…Tell me it ain’t so! You’re joking, right? But either way, as long as you were amused, that’s what counts! 😉 Thanks again, Bud…You do bring that Morning Sunshine! Hope you’re having a good one! 🏠🙋🏻

      • I wasn’t joking Angela. Normally it bugs me if I can’t solve the cartoon but when they are in quotation marks my mind shuts down because I dislike the answer so much. I was actually chuckling when posting because I was not affected by my outcome or should I say failure. Good night to all.

      • Hey Brooklyn..I thought we got past that “Quotation Trepidation”! 😉 But I gotta chuckle too at your total inDIFFER-“RENTS”! 😂😂 Watch the Mets? Drowning your sorrows? We just can’t seem to win…And it looked so good there for a while, right? Hope your having a good one, Bud! ⚾️🙋🏻

  4. I didn’t have trouble with any CWs but was struggling with the answer until I saw that I had two FFs and two RRs. I tried to make words with these double letters, which led me to differ.
    Wishing all a great day.

    • Good Afternoon, Caroline, How’re you? As I just told Betty, the answer came to me immediately since I’d seen it before. But I was looking for the letters “RENT” as soon as I read LEASE in the question. It could be just me, but lately it seems that there’s so much being given away with the wording in the question. And this one proved to be right on the MONEY! 😉 Kudos for the solve! Take care, and have a great day…🏠🙋🏻

      • Things are good, thanks. Hope the same is true for you and everyone. I was in Canada for a few days and found the Jumble in the Toronto Star. I don’t have the App, so I hadn’t seen this puzzle before.

      • Hey Caroline…Happy to hear that. And thanks, things are going well here also. School LET out y’day, so now the real SCRAMBLING begins! 😉 Canada again? You’re so lucky. I haven’t been there in a while. Did you have the Poutine? I actually dream about it sometimes! LOL..Decadently delicious! The Just Jumble App is fantastic. I’m pretty sure that you need a smart device to access it though. I’m not a gamer of any kind. It was always a challenge for me because of my left-right problem. The kids would be yelling at me..”The left button, the left button”! And I’d be happily pressing the right! I just ended up giving it up…before they completely lost faith in me! 😂 (But I do hear them telling their friends once in a while that I “couldn’t learn to play”)! LOL…The humanity! But this App I love! Even though there’s no “real gaming” to it…It’s ok with me! Be well, and I hope you’re enjoying the day! 📲🙋🏻

      • Oh…Caroline! Soooo close and no Poutine? LOL…Maybe next time? 😉 Yea, the App is great…(But NO where as good as the Poutine)! 😉 Hope you’re having a great night! 🙋🏻

    • Hi Betty Good Morning…Nice to see you. My thought immediately this morning…”I’ve done this puzzle before..” It’s one of the ones curRENTly on the App. I was hoping you’d post, so that I could mention it to you. The houses side by side looked so familiar, so before I even looked at the words, I glanced at the answer circles and I recognized it. Maybe some of the App puzzles may start showing up here. We’ll be ahead of the game! And Kudos 👏🏻 to us both for remembering it! I swear I go into the refrigerator at LEASED once a day…and stand there wondering why! 😂😂. Hope all is well, and Happy Wednesday to you too! 🏠🙋🏻

  5. Oh Wow, Angela, I can so relate to going into a room and forgetting why I’m there. I troop downstairs and then remember what I was looking for – at least I was in the proper place but it’s very frustrating. I’m totally enjoying this new group of puzzles on the app. I ration them out – just a few a day so I don’t run out of them too quickly.

    • Betty…You have me laughing! …Because I’ve done the ROOM thing enough times too! But at LEASED (Sorry, I just couldn’t LET it go)! with the rooms, we could be looking for anything, so we can kind of forgive ourselves…but the fridge? I mean let’s be honest…not many choices there! LOL…I’m with you on the new puzzles. I think I may have mentioned…I allow myself no more than 3 a day…And If the will powers with me, I only go for 2! Otherwise I’d have banged out the whole bunch already! Soooo addictive! Anyway, at least..(isn’t it uncanny how this word just keeps rearing its’ head today)? 😂 we’re not alone in our quest for the “unknown”! Strength in numbers..I always say! Stay smiling, 😀…It helps! Have a good one, Betty! 🔦🙋🏻

  6. Hi all – Easy enough today; just took a second to realize RENT must be part of the answer. First thoughts: The Jumble has been replaced by a “Spot the six differences” feature! (#1 – the birds on the roof peaks are facing in opposite directions.) Then the Chicago skyline with the John Hancock Center and the Sears Tower (whatever they’re called these days}. And finally the War of 1812, but that ended in 1815, not 1814, so the houses would have to have been on opposite sides of the street.

🎵”Thursday night her stockings needed mending.
    See how they run”🎵
Angela, I presume you’re going for the identical cousins in the Patty Duke show? Now you’re “cooking” with gas!

    Have a great day!

    • Hey! You’re infringing on my War! …🎶Good God, what is it good for…🎶 😉 (Now that’s a good one, right)? 😉 And they have to both be even numbers…they’re next to one another…So, LET’S not go there! But I did think of those DIFFERNCES puzzles too…🎶Wednesday morning papers didn’t come…🎶 Great lyrics…And yes! Ding Ding Ding!! Finalmente! And here I was thinking Paul would pull it off in a second! Bravo! 👏🏻🍷No, now YOU’RE cooking with gas! I thought it’d never come up! LOL…Hope you have a great one too, G! 👩‍❤️‍👩🙋🏻

      • Hey, G. Just seeing this. Doing an early purge, and I found this in the junk folder AGAIN. SMH! When you say “came up”? Do you mean here? Or while shopping? My supermarket pipes in only 50’s music. The most amazing sounds…We all just go bomping up and down the aisles…and don’t cringe so much at the rising PRICES! 😉🙋🏻

        Like

      • No, my wife just thought of it. I can’t even remember what we were talking about, and neither of us remembered that it was by War.
I WANT TO GO SHOPPING AT YOUR SUPERMARKET!! 😂 I’m guessing “Sleep Walk” would be a downer for business, but I can totally see doing “The Stroll” down the produce aisle! 🙋🏻‍♂️

      • Hey, What’s up? See, another one of those abyss things..Weird, right? It happens to me a lot…LOL..I don’t blame you for wanting to shop there! ..It’s wonderful. And since they’re open 24/7…It’s playing no matter what time I’m in there…A lot of times we stop in on the way home, if one of the Lous gets an urge for something, like 12-1 AM..sometimes if we go out for breakfast, like 4-4:30..the Diner’s right next to it, I’ll go in..2 o’clock in the afternoon…It doesn’t matter when. Constantly playing…Nothing but 50’s…To die for!
LOL…The Stroll! Exactly…😂 And I have heard Sleep Walk..😉 But trust me, it really does mellow everyone out…Everyone seems to be smiling and chill. It’s really something. Makes it better? There’s a butcher who definitely missed his calling..LOL..He’s right out there singing along and he’s good too! …Sometimes we all clap! I’m tellin’ ya, I truly enjoy grocery shopping! 🎶🙋🏻

      • Wow, that sounds wonderful! Have you ever done a Board session – 50’s songs appropriate for grocery shopping? The only one that came to mind was hitting the floral department and the candy aisle for “A Rose and a Baby Ruth” – written by John D LOUDER-MILK! (Cannot make this stuff up!) 😂😂 🙋🏻‍♂️

      • LOL..Good one! No, we never have. But it is a thought! Tell you one thing that does always come to mind…Whenever I go down the Laundry aisle? I always find myself going to..🎶TIDE is on my side..yes it is🎶 😂🙋🏻

  7. DONE! I had to use a magnifying glass to read the signs in front of the houses in my small Jumble puzzle in my newspaper that costs $49.74 per month.

I had to do today’s Jumble the “write” way by solving the words, writing the circled letters in a nice straight line, waiting for the answer to pop out, and then putting a dot below each letter in the line that was in the answer to “check my work” as Mike does.

I had to write the letters of the 6-letter words in a circle and wait for them to pop out.

Clay Davis, in case you don’t know about writing the letters in a circle, I will explain it with today’s word JESTER. You pretend that you are writing a clock face using letters rather than numbers, writing all letters right-side-up. Write the letter “J” at 12 o’clock. Write the letter “E” at 2 o’clock. Write “S” at 4 o’clock, “T” at 6, “E” at 8, and “R” at 10. Many times, as soon as you look at your letters in a circle, the answer pops right out. Good luck.

Steve, thoughtful caring one always hoping that I am eating & resting enough to get better, I am happy to report that my daughter is doing a fine job and I feel much better than when she arrived. First I ate her bland food for several days, but yesterday I felt like going out for a fried shrimp dinner for lunch and a delicious Mexican food dinner with beef, beans, guacamole, and cheese at dinnertime.

      • Hi, Steve! You are quite welcome, thoughtful, caring one. I will continue to stay busy eating, sleeping, & resting while daughter is here. Yesterday I got a big thank you from her husband & son for sending them money for a sushi dinner out and 3 huge boxes of their favorite cereal, Honey Bunches of Oats.

    • Hi Lelia…You made me chuckle! Listening to all the DIFFE RENT ways people tackle the Jumble, it just comes down to the fact that there is no “write” or wrong way to solve it. It all depends on what works best for each person. Who writes, who doesn’t…as long as we get the solve…we’re HOME free, right? Life is all about Viva LET difference! Good to hear your appetite’s returning…Stay well, and I hope you’re having a great day! 🏠🙋🏻
