Good morning everyone and happy Monday!  I hope you had a relaxing weekend and you’re ready to tackle another week of Jumble puzzles.  The first three clue words came instantly, with PASTRY being the only one to give me a few extra seconds of pause.  Moving along to the cartoon portion, I read the sentence and dialogue but was unable to come up with the answer.  After writing out the clue letters, I was still at a loss so I was forced to break out my notepad and began making 4-letter words.  Step, goes, post, gust, and stop all didn’t work, but for whatever reason, I saw THOUGHT and with one letter missing I made it plural leaving DEEP for the finish.  Mr. Hoyt did an excellent job of keeping the letter layout cryptic making this puzzle anything but a pushover for a Monday morning.  While studying the cartoon, I wasn’t able to find anything unique or hidden within it, but the boat bobbing above the water truly made you feel as if you were diving right alongside our philosopher friend!  Have a great Monday, and I’ll sea you tomorrow! 😉
