🛳 Looking at the cartoon, one just can’t help but think
How crews upon a passenger ship must get that little kink…
To catch a break from catering to everybody’s whim,
And SPRUCE themselves up for a change, and just be her and him.
No one to have to PACIFY, no HIKERs for the walls,
They just can chill and be themselves with all their own foibles…
Lie in the sun, all care be SWUNG, raise drinks up to their lips…

t Today’s words except for maybe PACIFY are old favorites. Ironically, SPRUCE WOOD have worked well y’day, right? But Pacify? Is it new? Can we make PEACE with it? What do you think, Folks? SAILING over to our cartoon, Jeff’s placed us ABOARD a Cruise Ship. Without any passengers on board, we SEA the CREW being afforded some time for themselves. We have four men, three women, and various means of diversion. For those of us who’ve been on cruises, we know how hard these people work. It’s no day at the beach! I’m sure there’s been many a time when these crew members have become SHE SICK, and HE SICK of catering to so many guests. So this down time is well deserved. Our question asks what the Ocean Liner is, now that the passengers are gone…The ShuffleBOARD player is saying,,”We never get a chance”… Ding! Ding! Ding! it’s the “CREW’S” SHIP! All Hands on Deck! …What a LINE ER, good job, David! Ok, eye candy. There’s a plethora today! Below the ships Funnels, we see a man, in uniform, the Captain perhaps, looking VERY relaxed, if you catch my DRIFT…Is that PORT he’s drinking? The women next to him is speaking into a wired HAND mic, the PA system, which Jeff shows us to be blaring off to the side. Below them is a guy with his fingers extended on both HANDS…Who he’s gesturing to, I’m not sure, but he’s smiling and happy! And then there’s the guy in the hot tub…with his hat on, and a drink in his hand…He’s VERY, VERY  happy! We have the couple playing shuffleBOARD, giving us the dialogue, and lastly, the woman sunbathing, with a drink, while using her phone. Phew! What a CREW! So what’s my pick for the day? Way off to the right side…STARBOARD?  Jeff’s signature sinking sailboat! Gets me every time! So, there you have it, Folks, Done! Have a great day, Everyone!
