Looking at today’s game, the clue words were no problem at all and were on the easier side. GLAND took an extra couple of seconds to come into view so it’s my pick for the most difficult anagram to decipher. With all of the clue words solved it was time for the main event — the cartoon!

We’ve all heard a joke that starts with “Two guys walk into a bar…” and that’s exactly what Jeff captured in his drawing this morning. Two men sitting at a table in a bar and they’re engaged in an arm wrestling match. Reading the dialogue and sentence, we learn that the younger fellow on the left with his hello kitty tattoo and half-mullet hairdo is going to make quick work of his opponent and even has time to order another beer in the middle of the match! Jeff did a superb job illustrating the motion lines around the duos hands and you can tell that the older fellow is all but done for by the look on his face.

We’ve all arm wrestled someone at some point, but I’ve always used my right hand. I’m just curious as to why these men are using their left hands? Are they both lefties or maybe the older man was a lefty and the younger man agreed to use his “weaker” hand to make the match more even. Just pointing it out because you folks know how much I enjoy the fine details!

The surprise answer came almost instantly with HAND being jumbled all together in the letter layout. The two L’s brought WELL into view leaving IN for the finish. Piece of cake!

Have a terrific Tuesday and I hope you’re weather is warmer than the 7 degrees it is here in New Hampshire! I’ll see you tomorrow! 🙂
