THE CHURCH’S NEW CHOIR DIRECTOR WAS WELL LIKED.  MEMBERS OF THE CHOIR —

SPNSSGRIAEA = SANG HIS PRAISES

Good Monday morning everyone and welcome back to another week of Jumble fun!  The clue words were a little more challenging than I would have expected for a Monday.  GARLIC was a great word choice that had me thinking for an extra few seconds but it was AGENDA that really had me stumped.  The cartoon was an easy solve but I wasn’t sure if it was SING or SANG.  I knew PRAISES was the second word leaving SANG for the finish.  I hope the time change wasn’t too rough on you.  I had trouble going to sleep and was groggy this morning but that just means I’ll sleep better tonight.  A MAJOR snow storm is headed our way with 12-18″ of snow expected.  I had some difficulty starting my generator, but after giving it some fresh fuel it started up like a charm!  Have a great Monday everyone and I’ll see you tomorrow!  πŸ˜€β„️⛄️

  1. Good morning. Like you I had a little trouble with those two words. Only garlic took the longest to get. For me it was minutes not seconds. The cartoon answer was easy. Waiting a little longer to call my friend. Today’s her birthday. I hope her husband takes her out for breakfast or brunch and not wasting time sleeping late. Till tomorrow. Stay well.

      • Her husband is the one that took my information and joined me. She reads the comments but does not post. Their phone was busy when I called and now they are out. Hope he read my comment and took her out. Take care.

  2. Yes GARLIC and AGENDA also gave me trouble. Answer was an easy one. All you in the NE stay safe and warm, hope there are not sustained power outages for you. We here in FL are in for some cooler weather – nighttime lows in the 40’s, BRRRRR!

  3. Good Morning, everyone! I mirror those comments with garlic and agenda. Snow is upon us in Hamilton, Ontario…40 miles west of Toronto. Expecting about the same as your area, Mike. Probably the majority will fall tomorrow. Stay warm and dry! Happy day to all.

  5. I didn’t even look at my newspaper copy as I did it online this morning. I agree with newspapers not using enough ink to make the puzzle darker. I see that every so often. It was a nice challenge to start the week though. πŸ˜€

  6. I was able to solve the puzzle first and backed into the words. Garlic too was the last one I solved but knew what letters I needed so that helped. Weather here is supposed to be in the high 70’s today. It’s good to see the sun and my neighbor’s daffodils. Have a good day everyone.

  7. Hi! Hardest word for me was GARLIC, and second was AGENDA. Got the cartoon answer at I read it, as if it were already written there.
    Mike, on Sat. you asked for details. Last week daughter gave congrats party for Josh, 40 people in her home. I paid for all the food but did not join the crowd.
    Yesterday I invited immediate family, 9 came, and fun things at restaurant were: adding our congrats cards to his gift journal, everyone enjoying reading comments from you & Jumble group, lady from nearby table asking us to take her picture with Josh & saying she’ll tell everyone at school she teaches in about him, and learning that Josh went viral on YouTube!! Yippee!!
    Now I am THREE hours later than you! Waaa! See you tomorrow…late. Stay warm.

    • Thanks for the details, Lelia! It sounds like Josh had a very nice party!!! Please let us all know when he’s on the show again. I’ll post a picture or two of the snowstorm so everyone can be jealous! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  8. Ditto for agenda & garlic. Snow started here in WI at 10:30 last night & is still going strong – predicted to last until sometime after midnight tonight. We hire a snow removal guy who will be really busy tomorrow!
