Good Friday morning everyone!  The clue word choices were excellent this morning with BUTANE being the most difficult for me to decipher.  I self-jumbled the letters and figured it out on the third attempt.  Moving on to the cartoon, I read the dialogue and sentence and proceeded to attempt a blind solve.  Nothing came immediately so I wrote down the clue letters and saw the answer right away.  The pun was hilarious and it was a fine finish to another great week of puzzles.  Enjoy your Friday and I’ll see you tomorrow for the Saturday edition.

  1. Good morning. Today’s puzzle was a good challenge. I spent over a half hour getting butane then finally sprawl. The cartoon was easy. I got it right away and that helped me to get the last word. Yesterday it was at least 63 degrees playing bocce and today it’s snowing. Never remembered the weather being this crazy. Till tomorrow stay well.

    • Great job on solving all the words, Paul! The temperature is dropping fast here and should be in the single digits by morning. Possibly -20 feel with the wind chill. Brrrrr!!!!! Have a great day and weekend. 😀

  3. They say third time is charmed, I’ve posted twice and nothing is showing up – so will try one more time.
    I had problems with two of the words, but once I got them the puzzle answer was easy.

  4. Hi! First 3 words in a minute. While taking 6 minutes on BUTANE, I read cartoon question & got the answer without even seeing the word boxes which they won’t show on my silly site until you get all 4 words right. Final time 7:27 which is my normal now that I have teamed with you, Mike, and Rita on preferring not to rush.
    Three family birthdays this month and they like to eat out so I’ll be having fun taking them out. Will let you know where we go.

  5. It’s been a good week for me. Butane gave me pause but I had already figured out the puzzle answer so knew what letters I needed. It’s supposed to be in the 70’s here today with the 80’s predicted for Monday (really hot for us). I am ready for Spring.

  6. Love the site, but I can’t post a comment or reply. What am I doing wrong? “Details” box is outlined in red no matter what I enter.

    • I was having trouble posting online and finally figured out to put email address in top box and name in second and I left the last blank. Before it listed that you put name in first and email in second, however does the opposite now but does not tell you what to put in boxes. . From my phone there were no problems; just from computer. Hope this helps Hope. 🙂

      • That worked! Thank you so much! Put email in first box, name in second. It would be nice if there were instructions instead of just saying “Fill in your details”. Incidentally, this was from an ipad mini. Replying from email seemed to work fine. Tahnks again!
