Good afternoon and happy Sunday everyone!  INFECT was the only word I didn’t get right away, but it came to me after a short pause.  The cartoon answer was a quick solve as well with no difficulty whatsoever.  There was so much detail in the cartoon, but my favorites were the three fish under the boat and the hull number on the boat (JMBL 1954).  Have a great day and I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow morning!

  1. Used the online version today and solved the puzzle in 1:30. This one has a built in timer which inspired me to use a timer when I do the weekday Jumble In the paper. Off to the laundry room for wall and floor scraping in preparation for plaster and concrete repair next weekend!

  2. Got the cartoon answer first and worked backwards today. No problem with the clue words. Fun puzzle.

  3. Good morning. Took a little longer than two minutes for the words. Before I could look to solve the cartoon my friend who is in Pa with her husband for a few days called with the answer. She said the whole thing was pretty easy. Even thinking of challenging John on the time. Stay we’ll see you on Monday.

    • I was going to write a little something about the party on Monday but since you asked, I’ll do it now. It was his 9th birthday and we invited his whole class and friends. We rented a function hall as it was a Nerf party and we needed lots of space. They ran and played and I had pizza and soda delivered for a break a couple of hours into the party. They did more Nerf games like capture the flag and last man standing — and then had cake and ice cream and we did presents. I was WIPED OUT after the party and he told us it was everything he could ask for. His actual bday is this Wednesday but school is on Feb vacation the next weekend so we wanted to have it before all his friends went south for the week. We’ll give him his present on Wednesday and if you can keep a secret, I’ll tell you what it is. He’s been intrigued by bees for a couple of years now so we bought him a bee hive and the bees will come as soon as the weather permits. I know nothing about bees so I’ll have to educate myself before we begin. He’ll sure be buzzing come Wednesday!     Where do I find the actual Jumble Puzzle on a Sunday?? I can get every other day in the Herald Tribune, but not Sunday.

  7. Was able to solve the puzzle SNAP……. Therefore I did not do any of the CWs Did the Cryptoquip and went to golf in 65* weather, total blue sky…sending it East to y’all.
