CARTOON ANSWER:
WHEN THE TOWN NEEDED TO MAKE BIG PURCHASES, IT HAD TO BE HANDLED —
BICUTYOMEEMT = “BUY” COMMITTEE
Happy Tuesday my friends! What a fun puzzle we had this morning with a good mix of old and new clue words. CHROME would be my pick for the most difficult word followed by EXEMPT. I didn’t run into any roadblocks this morning so it was clear sailing to the cartoon. After writing down my clue letters and staring at them for a moment, BUY jumped right out at me. I figured out COMMITTEE in a flash to complete the pun and for the finish. The cartoon looked bland — exactly the way I’d expect a town committee room to look — great job Jeff! Take care and I’ll see you tomorrow! 😀

Snap! My total ignorance has been cured, for a day anyway.
Good morning, Harry! I’m glad you weren’t SHAKEN by the difficulty level of today’s game. Have a terrific Tuesday!
Good morning. Like Harry I found it easy. “Maybe two snaps”. At first glance the cartoon looked hard but,I put it down and came back without any distractions from the tv and got the big word first. Am on a good roll. Stay well
Great work, Paul! Congrats! 😀
I’m in a hurry to get going this morning so glad it was an easy one.
Great work, Rita! 👍🏻
Epic fail, today. Had three words and the puzzle solved quickly , but it took me forever to back my way into chrome! 7:26, today.
I had a feeling that CHROME would be the tough one. At least you solved it! 😊
Hi! Today my poor spelling let me down! I am proud of all of you who got it quickly, but I did not remember that the word committee has double letters 3 times and did not know what to do with my last “e.” Thank goodness I finally just stuck it at the end and hoped for the best. Silly me. Now I am laughing just thinking about it so all is well, and I wish everyone a terrific Tuesday!!
Isn’t it funny how easy the words look after they’re solved?! Have a great day Lelia and I’ll see you tomorrow. 😁
Don’t feel bad Lelia. I would never win a spelling contest and most times check with my phone to make sure I have the words spelled right.
Solved quite easily see you tomorrow
Sounds like a plan, Howard. Have a great evening!
Thank you, Paul.
Mike, I have wondered all day what the object is that is in the middle of the table. I have looked at pictures online of staplers, hole punches, pencil sharpeners, and paperclip holders. I give up.
It’s a speaker used in conference calls. Here’s a link:

Anytime! I hope it helped. 😀
