Good morning everyone and happy Thursday!  EASILY and TUGGED were the challenge for me this morning.  They weren’t overly difficult but they baffled me enough to make me slow down and think for a moment.  I moved on to the cartoon puzzle with all my clue letters and it was another quick solve.  I saw BIG first followed by FAT.  GRIN was easily visible at that point for the finish.  I searched the cartoon for easter eggs but came up empty handed.  Have a super day and let me know if there was something I overlooked.  😃

    • Good morning Fred! Thank you for the very nice comment. Easter egg is a term meaning an unexpected detail that the artist adds to his work. We have seen many in the past by Jeff Knurek and they are another aspect of the puzzle that some folks fail to notice until they are pointed out. I hope this answers your question and be well. 😊

  2. Wow what a dumb a** I am sometimes. Breezed through the CWs then got GAIN…then could not get anything else because I had needed 2 words and only had one vowel left…then got FAT and RING and BIG…thought “Hey that is not funny” or I did not understand the pun. Came back an hour later and up popped GRIN and I was in like Flynn!

    • The solution is getting a lot of traffic this morning. I think people are having trouble finding the correct words as there are a slew of possibilities. Great job though Harry! 😀

    • Hello susan and thank you for the kind words. I’m really happy that you enjoy my musings of the Daily Jumble. My family and I went away for a few days last week and we toyed with the idea of staying at the Hotel de Glace but it was too last minute. The winter is mild here in New Hampshire as well. A light dusting of the white stuff overnight, but the sun is out and melting it all away as I type. Enjoy what your day brings and I’ll see you tomorrow. 😉

    • Morning Lelia! The cartoon put a smile on my face as well. Anyone who has struggled with weight loss knows how happy it makes you feel when you shed the excess pounds. She sure looked happy and I hope she didn’t celebrate her achievement by grabbing a cheeseburger! Be well and catch some rays for me. ☀️😄

      • Hard to solve the puzzle when one writes the letters down incorrectly. Once I replaced “e” with “a” it all fell into place. The clue words were all pretty easy today.

  5. Good morning. Easily was the last word that I got. Had it down on paper but for some reason it looked wrong to me. Now I get big fat grin and am not happy with that answer. Took me ten minutes to change it to grin. Was fun today. Enjoy the Comments by others. Till tomorrow,stay well

  6. I had no trouble with the individual words but also came up with gain. Once I realized that gain used up all the vowels , I came up with grin and the rest fell into place. You have made me pay much closer attention to the details of the picture. She does have a big grin on her face.

  7. Talk about being stupid. I got the words but had big fat ring. Didn’t sound right so I put it down and when I came back I realized it was big fat grin. Love doing these and love all you comments. Thanks for keeping us amused.

  8. Talk about putting down the wrong letters. I came up with BIG RAT FINK which made no sense. I finally realized I wrote down a K instead of a G. Started all over and finally got BIG FAT GRIN. It took three cups of coffee to realize my mistake. I need more sleep.
