  1. ๐ŸŽถ I’m like a – rubber ball, baby that’s all that I am to you (bouncy, bouncy) (bouncy, bouncy)…Just a rubber ball ‘cuz you think you can be true to two (bouncy, bouncy) (bouncy, bouncy)….You bounce my heart around (You don’t even put her down)…And like a rubber ball, I come bouncin back to you….๐ŸŽถ

๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ€ If Basketball I had to rank amongst my favorite sports
Baseball and Football would precede before I hit the courts
I wasn’t EXPOSEd much to it till after I was grown
My household was a baseball one, so hoops were never shown.
So I’m looking at this cartoon, and it must have been some crowd
Because those people standing courtside, why is that allowed?
And the CROSS look on the face of the player who’s in black?
Annoyance at the block attempt or those who won’t stand back??
The winning shot’s accomplished, he’s nothing left to PROVE
I bet he’s thinking just like me, why aren’t they removed?
So I’m left with just JALOPY, it’s a word that’s really cute
And wonder at why SCORES of PEOPLE haven’t gotten the boot…๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ€

Today’s words have been BOUNCED around before, so I just made a FAST BREAK over to the cartoon. Jeff has us at a basketball game, with the winning shot just being thrown. He SCORES! The arena is packed. Talk about HOGGING the BALL, these fans are hogging the AIR SPACE. What a crowd…SCORES of PEOPLE! Cute pun, Dave! Take it to the BANK! SHOT that one right in, and it didn’t take LONG! Ok, eye candy? I’m going with the couple with the shocked, FOUL looks on their faces…I can’t imagine why they’re CARRYing on like that? Looks like they may need ASSISTANCE, right? So, there you have it Folks, Done!

Have a great day, Everyone! I wish you a day of Paying it FORWARD, PACKing in the fun, and REBOUNDing from anything OFFENSIVE!
    In a nutshell, Best SWISHES…๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป

  2. The used-car salesman wanted to PROVE the JALOPY was reliable but his fake “CROSS my heart” ploy was EXPOSEd as phony by my mechanic.
Scrambled words and solution were no great struggle today. I had to write the circled letters out but studying the cartoon and isolating “people” led to the answer. Clever play on words guy.
Point well taken about your devotion to baseball and football, Angela. Basketball may not be your number one sport and PUNting is more up your alley. so I’ll just admire those attributes you have.
Thanks for the reminder about “Pay it Forward” day—I had forgotten. Plan to find a way to make someone happy today.

    • LOL…Good morning, Earl. Keep in mind, ๐ŸŽถIt’s all about the rhyme, ’bout the rhyme..no Trouble๐ŸŽถ!!! Just dancing trying to keep the METER running! And PUNting! I love it. Thank you, Sir, and your sentence AUTO win you a prize!
Earl, I think the actual calendar Pay it Forward Day is sometime in April. I try to make every day a pay it forward day…(plus I wanted to get another Basketball reference in there…Mea culpa)! And I’m pretty sure you make someone happy every day! Have a great one! ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป

  3. Good morning. I don’t know about you guys but I get annoyed when the puzzle is that easy. I didn’t even have to think a minute for the words. Sometimes the children’s puzzle on Sunday is harder. I had to write down the letters for the cartoon because nothing jumped out at me. Once I saw the “Ps and Os” the solution came quickly. You guys did a wonderful job again today and Angela thank you for yesterday’s comment. It made me accept the fact I couldn’t do anything about the outcome. Until tomorrow stay well.

    • Good morning, Paul. And Thank you!
Yes, It was child’s play, but let’s consider it an early Christmas gift!
As for y’day? You gave it the old Brooklyn try. You’re OK in my book.

  5. Quick solve today. Unlike Paul, I like it when I can figure out the answer quickly. Have lots of Christmas preparations to do so can get on with my tasks in short order. Happy Saturday everyone.

  6. Hi all – I was surprised at getting JALOPY. It seemed like a fairly old-fashioned word to me, but others didnโ€™t seem to have a problem either. Then PEOPLE led to SCORES.

Recent โ€œsong from the ceilingโ€ at the 99ยข Only Store – Carole King, โ€œI Feel the Earth Move.โ€

    Have a good day!

    • Hi, Steve! In response to your song from the ceiling, these are the ones I heard 2 days ago at Top Shelf Mexican restaurant during lunch with granddaughter:

White Christmas, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Let It Snow, Frosty the Snowman, Iโ€™ll Be Home For Christmas (always makes me cry & this one had a beautiful horn solo), Silver Bells, and we exited the restaurant with Sleigh Ride in warm, sunny Arizona.

      • HI Lelia! Yup, Christmas music is in full swing. I really like Silver Bells. Sleighing in the sand, great image; bolt on the training wheels. One of my favorites is the version of โ€œAngels We Have Heard on Highโ€ by The Roches, check it out – see you tomorrow. Hope you had fun at the party with good PROSPECTS for Christmas.
