GODUH = DOUGH

THACC = CATCH

ROPURA = UPROAR

MURBEM = BUMMER

CARTOON ANSWER:

WHEN HE CHOSE A STAGE NAME, RICHARD STARKEY CHOSE ONE THAT WASN’T —

DUHURMM = HUMDRUM

Good morning everyone and happy Wednesday!  UPROAR was the word that caused me to pause for a few extra seconds today but it wasn’t too difficult to decipher.  With all of the clue words solved, it was on to the cartoon.  The Beatles were way before my time, however; I didn’t need to know music history to figure this one out.  I saw DRUM right away leaving me with HUM for a smooth finish and excellent pun.  Have an enjoyable rest of your day and I’ll see you tomorrow!  πŸ˜€πŸ₯

  1. Good morning. Uproar took close to five minutes to get. It’s amazing how simple words can cause the most trouble. The cartoon answer was a breeze like the last few days. If the Beatles were before your time then your just a “babe in the woods”. Even though they were good I really never liked them because of their marijuana use and preaching free love. A bad influence for the younger people.

  2. I had an easy time of it today. I remember when the Beatles came to San Francisco in the 1960’s they performed at our ballpark then called Candlestick Park. It was a mob scene of screaming teenagers.
