  1. I’ve been doing Jumbles for decades. This is the first time I have needed to seek help for the solution as it was absolutely impossible and poorly constructed. Hoyt and Knurek blew this one.

    • Good morning Nancy. I thought this puzzle was rather easy myself. All the words except RODENT were easy to decipher. In regards to the cartoon — CUSTOM jumped out at me and then I saw EYES in the remaining letters and the rest is history. I guess it’s all just how you LOOK at it.       • I found it a little challenging, but no where near as difficult as some I’ve solved. Didn’t get “rodent” until I got the answer and knew what letters were in circled.

  3. I liked drawing Elton John. The answer could be difficult, but once you saw “CUSTOM’, the rest should come into focus.

  4. I got the first three words pretty quickly, but I just couldn’t get “rodent”!
    And that kind of threw me off for the final answer. I knew “eyes” was the middle part, but just couldn’t put the other part together.

    I’ve become a big fan of Jumble. I look forward to it in my daily newspaper!
