  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…

🎶 And when the BROKEN-HEARTED PEOPLE living in the world agree,…There will be an answer, LET IT BE…For though they MAY BE PARTED…there is still a chance that they will see…There will be an answer, LET IT BE…🎶 “Let It Be” – The Beatles 1970 https://tinyurl.com/ynkdm9uf.

🎸Way back In 1969 when FONDUE was the rage,
The breakup of The Beatles…it began to set the stage,
The fans ABOVE all were distraught…not knowing how to GAUGE,
The demise of this well-loved group… how would they turn the page?
And who was in the DRIVER’s seat…why was the group eroding?
The bottom line, the news was out…and it was def “FOUR”-BODING 🎸

On January 10th, 1969, when George Harrison, after a frustrating morning of working on music with The Beatles, walked up to the lunch table and said…”See you ‘round the clubs”, it was most likely the beginning of the end…For despite the fact that trouble had been brewing amongst the Fab Four, no one had walked out…but that day, George did. https://tinyurl.com/kcy9e3xc

Our words today, in a repeat of yesterday, are giving us all old favorites with new anagrams. And once again, the words were easily unscrambled. As for the solve, with the seriousness of the dialogue, the look from Paul https://tinyurl.com/jv4k2fcv standing at the piano, and figuring FOUR definitely had to be in there…”FOUR”-BODING immediately came to mind.

And our cartoon brought to mind one we had back on January 3rd, 2019… https://tinyurl.com/wz3jtxy6 which also dealt with the Beatles breakup. But I think we’re revisiting the scene today because next week, on the 15th, “Let It Be”, https://tinyurl.com/jhf2jmde the Beatles final album will be celebrated with a special edition re-release that will offer up a number of formats. https://tinyurl.com/2k45ne4c …And it precedes the 3-day documentary “The Beatles:Get Back” that’s slated to premier on Disney+ Thanksgiving weekend, November 25th-27th. A lot to look forward to…

So, There you have it Folks, Done. Have a good one. Be well, stay safe…and I’ll just “Let It Be”…🎸🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♀️ She was never ABOVE the mark when it came to FONDUE, and always had a sense of FOREBODING, unsure of how to GAUGE the cheese, vs the wine vs the lemon juice…and the advice of her culinary backseat DRIVER of a husband never helped…🤷🏻‍♀️

🧀 She tried to reach the gravy boat…the shelf ABOVE her head,
She didn’t GAUGE the distance right…it fell and she saw red…
With no DRIVER around now who could run her to a store,
She switched the menu to FONDUE…but all the while she swore…
And hoping no one criticized, or hit her with some goading…
She started cutting up the bread…with reluctant FOREBODING! 🧀

  3. Didn’t find today’s J very good. The solution seemed convoluted, the anagrams were easy.
Tomorrow my Dodgers start up against the SF Giants, our traditional foe. Should be good stuff!
Let’s see what Saturday brings us!

    • I think it might have been better if the quotes enclosed both words, since foreboding is one word…but it is a clever pun, IMO…Enjoy your night, Mig. 🎸🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. Good morning! I loved the Beatles ! I’m sure we all sang their songs , the anagrams were easy, but the jumble ? I got the FOUR right away but I’m really feeling lost cause I don’t think I’ve ever used the word Forboding , cause I saw the ing and there was BOGDIN left and was not getting it so I sang to myself 🎶 Help , I need somebody ! 🎶 Help , not just anybody ! 🎶 Help , I need someone , Help ! There were so many Beatles songs that grew up with and I still sing them ! Great jumble ! But 🎶 It’s been a hard days night 🎶 I should be sleeping like a dog 🎶 . Goodnight everyone ! Have a great start to the weekend !!

    • You may not be alone in not recognizing the word, Jim. It’s not one that’s heard all that often. Have a good night/morning! Enjoy! 🎸🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Though we thought they’d last forever
At some point they were bound to sever
    The fabulous four
    Together no more
Will we see their likes again? – no, never.

    • Hi Helen…🙋🏻‍♀️

🎸Beatles music it came to an end,
And this group that we had seen transcend…
      Boundaries that had been set,
      Caused their fans such regret…
On a road of true sadness they’d wend…🎸

  6. Good morning…don’t agree that FOUR was obvious, especially since only two Beatles were in the puzzle cartoon. Regardless, for those that put it all together for a blind solve…you should get a Nobel Prize for “thinking outside the box”…Congrats. Me?…I speedily unscrambled the words, took out FOUR and ING and it was all completed in about a minute, but there was never gonna be a blind solve with FOUR-BODING. Again, nice job to you blind solvers !!!!

    • Hi Terry…Good Morning…I mentioned the FOUR, since in the many Beatles puzzles we’ve had over the years, the word Four played a prominent part of the solve. (Note the link to a past puzzle that I cited)…And since we are talking 1969 today, it is sort of a given. But the cartoon is featuring just one Beatle, Paul (or is it John?). not two. The other character is a reporter…(interviews stated in the question). So all in all, an immediate solve wasn’t all that much of a stretch…Anyway, bottom line, it’s another RECORD-breaking 😉 solve, IMO…Have a good one, Terry…Enjoy! 🎸🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Good morning. I got the words lickety split but had a time on the cartoon answer. With the help of six letter words I was able to figure out the last word and the remaining letters gave me the first word. Until tomorrow stay well and stay safe

    • Good Morning, Paul. With the HELP of six-letter words! 👏🏻👏🏻Nice! Enjoy your day, Paul…Hoping you’re staying well and safe too…🎸🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. It pays to be a veteran Jumbler. I’m pretty sure Four was part of the answer to a previous Beatles puzzle, which was why it came to mind. “Let it Be” is one of my favorite Beatles tunes. Wishing all an enjoyable weekend.

    • Good Morning, Caroline. Exactly…I didn’t see this before I replied to Terry, but we had the same train of thought. FOUR was in the forefront of our minds! Have a great day, Caroline…Be well and stay safe out there…🎸🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. Misspelling gauge as Gua didn’t help. After correcting that, the second word ending in ing came to mind, but four didn’t register as the first word, thus a Friday failure.Along w the WSox losing yesterday, not a good end of the week.

  10. No problem with the anagrams this morning but the cartoon answer eluded me even though I figured it would end in “ing”. I’ll have to remember “four” when we next get a Beatles puzzle. Wishing all of you a good day.

  11. Got the words okay, but FONDUE took a bit. For the answer, it took some effort, but I got it. After trying an ing ending, it still wasn’t easy finding FOUR.

A couple of years ago I visited Switzerland. I tried FONDUE at one place. I didn’t like it any better than decades ago when it was popular. I like small amounts of it, but a meal of it is too much.

    • I don’t think I’ve ever eaten Fondue…but I definitely agree…As a meal? Sounds like overkill! Enjoy your day, Dennis. Take care…🧀🤷🏻‍♀️

  12. I know that there were only two people in the puzzle and one was not a Beatle , the one thing that jumped out was FOUR, because of the “Fab Four” I grew up in that era and loved it ! And from previous comments, I learned to pair your consonants, and “ing” so I got FOUR ang the letters left after “ing” were “bod” all I could do is sing a “fab four “ hit ! 🎵 Help 🎵 ! Sorry, I had to vent , have a good start for the weekend !
