  1. Good Morning, Everyone. 💦 ALL IN A “DEWS” WORK 💦

🎶 And then one day…a magic day he passed my way…And while we spoke of many things…Fools and kings…This he said to me…”The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return…🎶 “Nature Boy” – Nat King Cole 1948 https://tinyurl.com/yxknwb3n

💦The weather’s so erratic, seems like nothing is the same,
The personification?…Mother Nature is her name…
We’ve seen her in a MOVIE or maybe on TV,
Depicted sometimes nurturing but cruel she too can be
No LIMIT to her powers, be it rain or sun or breeze…
In TANDEM with the animals, or flanked by WALNUT trees
Aware of all her glory, projected quite sublime…
The lion and the lamb of her..we’ll see ALL IN “DEW” TIME 💦

I thought we might have a repeat anagram this morning, but I guess we’re just not DEW…And with our words all old favorites…and only the slightest bit of a pause at MEDATN for two of the Early Birds…the puzzle was second nature..So WATER you say we just hop on over to our cartoon…

Today, with the sun peeking out over the hills, we see Mother Nature…watering the lawns, at the break of dawn…Nothing like the feel of cool grass between your toes..kissed with morning DEW…And as for that impatient rabbit? Well, it looks like Mother Nature doesn’t CARROT all…I guess his schedule’s neither HARE nor there to her…Make a LAWN story short?…She’ll be finished ALL IN “DEW” TIME… https://tinyurl.com/yxmadvu6

And Nature’s on full display, with Mother Nature herself adorned with flowers on her dress and hat, flowers on her watering can, and a dragonfly, a butterfly, and a bird seen flying about…

So, HARE you have it Folks…Done! Have a good one…be well, stay safe…And remember…It’s not nice to fool Mother Nature.. https://tinyurl.com/h5aqj9t….FOREST’s been said she has a hard time RAINING in that TEMPER of hers! 💦🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🌰 With a LIMIT on their time, they decided to do two things in TANDEM, watch a MOVIE, and shell the nuts for the WALNUT soufflé…easily getting it done ALL IN DUE TIME…🌰

🤰🏻He teased her ‘bout her cravings…there seemed to be no LIMIT,
A WALNUT pudding with green tea…his teeth he had to grit…
The things she ate in TANDEM, they really made him cringe,
She’d watch a MOVIE and indulge in many a food binge…
Although not understanding how you’d mix some soup with lime
He bit his tongue just knowing …it would end ALL IN DUE TIME! 🤰🏻

  3. Anagrams went ok,even tandem, which seemed vaguely familiar. But the abundance of letters, and multiple words in the cartoon solution stumped me,as I thought the 4 letter last word was lawn, which removed the possibility of dew being the 3 letter word in quotes, though with the reference to a wet lawn, dew should have been a given.Rather than journeying up to Dixon for a twin watch today,we’re home with a visit from our other young granddaughters,Marla and Alice.

    • Good Morning, Professor…The word LAWN wouldn’t be used in the solve, since it was already used in the question…But the answer was all there… You have to heed the dialogue…The Rabbit asking “how much longer”…= TIME, Mother Nature answering “when I’m finished”…= ALL IN (good time)…and the question glaringly stating “dampening the ‘morning’ lawns”…You don’t “dampen” in the morning…You “DEW”…what Nature DEW! So yes…that was a given…As for TANDEM, it’s been more than 2 years…April of 2018. And coincidentally, we had a Bunny in the puzzle that day too…https://tinyurl.com/y5kb7zjx. Makes me think of a Rabbit joke…
A priest, a rabbit and a minister all walk into a Blood Bank…”I think I might be a TYPE O…” says the Rabbit…🎤😂 Enjoy the family, Prof. Be well and stay safe out there…💦🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Good Morning, Ronald. Any means to the end! 😉Have a good one. Be well…and stay safe out there. 💦🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. Good morning. Thanks Angela for the beautiful song choice. He is so enjoyable to listen to. Had to look up Tandem. Other than that hiccup, it was smooth sailing on the cartoon answer. Knew right away the three letter word in quotations was Dew. From there it was easy the rest of the way. At first I thought it was _ _ dew tell. But quickly realized that didn’t work. Until tomorrow stay well.

    • Good Morning, Brooklyn. DEW Tell! I like that…You may have just given David an idea! 🎶DEW BE DEW BE DEW🎶..😉 That’s been stuck in my head all morning now! And YVW..I’m glad you enjoyed Nat. I’m with you…I could listen to him for hours on end…Enjoy your day, Paul. Be well and stay safe out there…💦🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Slight pause at tandem but the rest of the words and cartoon answer fell into place nicely. It’s so important to pay attention to the dialogue in the cartoon. Mother Nature has really been on a rampage lately. Enough already. Happy Saturday to all.

    • The dialogue says it all…No pun intended! 😉 As for Mother Nature? …UGH! Treating us all as if we’re bas—-d step children! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Have a good one, Betty. Be well and stay safe.💦🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Hi all – Pretty easy one today. I did pause at TANDEM, but it came to me, strangely enough, because it was the name of a computer company I was familiar with. “DEW” was obvious in the answer and the letter layout gave the rest.

    Good wishes to everyone.

I also think that’s a great song choice Angela. I don’t know if that was one of his biggest hits, but it’s the most haunting one to me.
Thanks for the Chiffon Margarine link also. You know I *always* miss that one in quizzes, and I did again today – I usually think it’s “Blue Bonnet.”
I liked the joke too. If it’s original, congrats! Most jokes have punch lines, but that’s one of the few with a RABBIT PUNCH line!

🎵”Walk me out in the morning dew, my honey”🎵
(Grateful Dead live in London on the album “Europe ‘72”)

(I always assumed this was an old tradition Celtic ballad, but I just learned it was written in 1962 by a Canadian folk singer, Bonnie Dobson. Amazing what you learn on Wikipedia.)

“On his long-awaited date, they settled back in his TANDEM WALNUT recliner to stream a romantic MOVIE, only to find he had exceeded his data plan’s LIMIT.” 😱 (“See ya later, dude!)

    • LOL…Lou read it twice…Gave me this quizzical look…and then I saw the fog lift…(something he’s always accusing me of…being in a fog)! 😂😂 And Tks, yes, it’s mine. And haunting’s the exact word my Father used to use when describing Nat’s rendition…It’s the perfect word. As for Mother Nature and the “Budda”, you’re right! We had the same “conversation” last time I posted it.😂..And the phrase’s been on my mind ever since all this weather craziness started …As I just told Betty…I think we should all apply for emancipation! After all, it definitely put some fire under Kellyanne Conway! 😱 Have a good one, Steve. Be well, be safe…and don’t tempt Mother Nature!😉💦🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Tandem required much jumbling. I didn’t get your rabbit joke right away, Angela, but it made me laugh.
Very creative interpretation of the phrase. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a depiction of Mother Nature before.
    Wishing all a fun weekend.

    • LOL! Hey Caroline…I just wrote Steve how my other didn’t get it right off the bat either…I have to admit, I made myself laugh! 😂 And you just saying that you’d never seen a depiction of Mother Nature before made me realize that I forgot to include the link last night…SMH! Me again…in the fog! 😂 And you know how I pride myself on my DEW diligence! 😂 Anyway, HARE it is, it’s interesting…https://tinyurl.com/y3oluv3x. Hope you’re enjoying your day, Caroline…Be well and stay safe out there! 🧝🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

      • Thanks for the mother nature link, Angela. I think I prefer Jeff’s vision.
        Dew and hare, good ones!
Wishing you and everyone the same.

        • LOL! Thank you, Caroline…and YVW. And I prefer Jeff’s also. A much less ominous and much more attractive depiction. 😉 Enjoy your night, Caroline! 🧝🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Very doable Jumble until I got to MEDATN. I too worked in a system with Tandem computers but that was no help to me; just had to figure it out. The solution was clever with the quotes lighting the way. Hope all are well today!

    • Uh, did you mean to say very DEWable? 😂…As for TANDEM, you’re not alone, Mig. It’s definitely running away with the poll numbers…And yes, a very clever solve. David DEWing what he does best! Have a good one, Mig. Be well and stay safe. 💦🙋🏻‍♀️
