Good morning. My choice for hardest word was Dental. Such an easy word and I gave up and looked for the answer. The only reason I come up with was that I was so sure the first word in the cartoon answer was To. With that stuck in my head I kept trying to make words starting with T. Once I got those two letters the cartoon answer came easy. Loved both songs Angela. Every time I hear Sea Cruise I think of the movie with Al Pacino. It kept you in suspense. Your second song fits perfectly with today’s times and the guy in the picture. Until tomorrow stay safe and well.

Hi all – I had trouble with the last two words and the answer. I know we’ve had BAKERY not too long ago because I remember talking about the Yreka Bakery with Betty, but I didn’t see it at first. There are a lot of words in these letters like LATE, BEAK, BARK etc, but all I could think of was “Achy Breaky Heart.”
When I got that it gave me ON BOARD for the answer which let me back into DENTAL with the N and D.
Thanks for all the puns and the details, Angela. I missed the sailboat at first, and I didn’t realize they were on a cruise ship. I thought they were just on a pier, and the guy was going to look at an actual bridge down the wharf, not the bridge of a ship.
The Chronicle has reached an absurd new low in coloring the cartoons. The chessboard’s black squares are green, and both the white squares and white pieces under the board are colored red! (DUH!) 🙄

I see what you mean here, but there were many times the Chronicle had completely different colors – you’d be talking about a blond in purple and we would have a brunette in yellow or green. I haven’t checked this anytime recently until today.

Dental got me but the answer was a breeze . I actually thought TO was the first word . Baseball is my favourite sport and the Yankees my team . I watch 2 exhibition games and it was a dud! No fans, no noise . I don’t like this year plan… they should have started 2 weeks ago and play something like 120 games with a third of spectators . This year I’m not ON BOARD!
