  1. Good Morning, Everyone. I hope this finds you well….

🤦🏻‍♂️The committee wanted it all done IN SHORT ORDER, since despite the club being SORRY for the theft of the prized HELMET, a little BIRDIE had told the chairman that he had seen them all SNORT after the apology had been offered…🤦🏻‍♂️

🏌🏻‍♂️He tried to get the lingo down…the Eagle, BIRDIE, Bogey,
He let out a loud SNORT as he was lighting up a stogie…
His toupee like a HELMET sitting flat upon his head…
Suffice to say the other men knew he was not well-bred
A SORRY excuse for a man, this newspapers reporter…
They hoped he’d get his story and just leave withIN SHORT ORDER 🏌🏻‍♂️

    Have a good one…Stay safe.🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. Good morning. Another successful completion and all this being out of my blueberries for my cereal for a day now. Must admit it wasn’t done in short order like the past few days but still easy enough. It’s all about the height mentioned. I’d say if he would have cut down on all that rich French food he wouldn’t have so many stomach problems having to rub his poor tummy and just maybe he might not have been soooo mean. That’s my take on it. Until tomorrow stay well.

    • Hey Paul. Good Morning. The Napoleon type figure doesn’t have a stomach problem…Here’s a good article…https://tinyurl.com/jqdehz8. And the 5’2” has me stumped. Napoleon was 5’6”.., some say a little shy of 7”. Plus the character looks a little like Danny DeVito, but he’s 4’10”…So we’re definitely somewhere in between…Hmmm. One could easily get a “complex” over this! 😉 Be well, Brooklyn…Stay safe. 🙋🏻‍♀️
      And how’s this for some old-time camp…. https://tinyurl.com/y93xsgkj

      • I also thought of Napolean in viewing the cartoon. The anagrams went well, but in the final solution,I was misled thinking the first word was he,and the second stood, rather than in and short.

      • Good afternoon. I was just having fun but I thank you Angela for all that information about him. I never realized that people actually thought he had stomach problems. It was interesting reading all about him. Fun facts for sure. Stay healthy.

      • Hey Paul. You’re welcome. And I figured you were…I only mentioned it because I never realized either that people believed it was true, I only became aware of it a year or so ago, when I helped one of the kids do a paper on him. I learn so much helping them…(or I’m relearning things I‘ve forgotten)! 😂 Either way, I found it interesting. Stay healthy too, Brooklyn. Be safe out there…🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. Hi Everyone – I saw bride before Birdie and thought the middle word would be Their, but I eventually found Short and the rest.

  4. Hi all – HELMET wasn’t instant for me, but a lot quicker than last time (and I also thought METHYL at first.) BIRDIE took me a little longer after seeing BRIDE, and the answer was another instant solve.

One of the better puns I’ve heard lately went something like “Can I say that Napoleon was born on an island? Of Corsican!”

    Good wishes to everyone.

“Having to SNORT was the least of the reasons he was SORRY when he left his HELMET visor open and a little BIRDIE flew inside.”

  5. Another easy breezy kind of puzzle this morning. It’s been a Monday sort of week, then again perhaps it is still Monday. The days all seem to run together. Hope all of you have a good day.

  6. Good evening. He was Sorry a little Birdie didn’t warn him to wear a Helmet when the angry blue jay let out a Snort and dived straight for his head. Take care.

      • Were you there Angela. Operation Sail. What was that 1979. Fleet week everybody out I was at the pier (not sure) if it was 69 or 79 Street where you use to get the ferry to go over by boat to Staten Island. Hundreds of people there for the fireworks later on and it started to rain. We all ran under the overpass because it started to pour and crowded underneath not to get wet and a pigeon picks me to deposit a load on the top of my head. All them people go choose from and he picks me!! I had to stick my head underneath a hydrant to remove the mess. Somebody yells out “it brings good luck”. Boy was that person wrong. I had a small bet at the track and I think the horse is still running. That was a fun week. People were so friendly. As always, take care.

      • ROTFL! Paul, you crack me up! I was just breaking your shoes! But as a matter of fact, it’s happened to me too…and I got a mop of hair on my head…so trust me, I know. I still cringe when I think of it. Luckily I wasn’t that far from home…As for Op Sail, I think it was ‘76, no? …and the ferry was caught at 69th St in Bay Ridge? As for your horse? LOL…Been there, done that…I’m still waiting on a few of them myself! At least yours was only a small bet! Anyway, I still hear people say that it’s good luck when a bird zeroes in on you…And we still got a Bridge we could sell, right? 😂 Hope the night’s going well, Brooklyn…I’m just getting ready to eat some spaghetti and clams…(And then I wonder why I can’t sleep)! 🦀🙋🏻‍♀️
