  1. Good Morning, Everyone. I hope this finds you well…Another knock-out of a puzzle! I hope you didn’t need to throw in the towel…Stay strong… stay safe…🥊🙋🏻‍♀️

🥊 A boxer takes his training very serious you see,
No ALIBI, no lame excuse it’s just hard work complē..
He’ll PUMMEL an opponent, he’ll spar both night and day,
There’s nothing can be ill-GOTTEN…nothing stands in his way
He’s in the gym religiously, there’s nothing goes by chance,
He’ll emulate some of the greats…try to ENACT their stance
And if and when a championship…a boxers fight sublime…
    Presents itself, he’s ready..he knows it’s “A BOUT” TIME..🥊

  2. Good morning. Not too difficult regarding the words. There was just a momentary pause of the second and fourth word. The cartoon answer was another Blind solve. I knocked that part right out of the ring. Until tomorrow stay well.

  3. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Unfortunately, saying that he was trying to ENACT a scene from Rocky didn’t fly as an ALIBI for why he decided to PUMMEL his co-worker, and as it had GOTTEN him nowhere…the Post Office decided it was ABOUT TIME he be let go…🤷🏻‍♂️

🐎 He joined up with one of those groups who’d ENACT Civil War,
And climbing up upon a horse he displayed his first flaw,
He incorrectly called the Pommel PUMMEL by mistake,
And had no ALIBI for it…some thought of him…a flake…
He felt their criticism too harsh, the error not that grave,
These guys were way too serious…and face he’d need to save…
If this is how they acted…petty things became such crimes?
He quit the group after a week…feeling ‘twas ABOUT TIME…🐎

  4. Enact gave me reason to pause, but in this repeat 20-20 year,we had multiple repeat letters in go-tt-en,and pu-mm-le,along w the boxing theme, that led to a quick blind solve of the final about time cartoon solution.

  5. i had to laugh when I first first unscrambled the first word to be labia instead of alibi, but once I figured out the answer, and reminded myself that this was a family newspaper, it all came together.

  6. Hi all – No trouble with any of the words or the answer today for a change.
The only thing that caught my eye in the cartoon was the old-style cap on the trainer.

    Good wishes to everyone.

“The big city Boss had been able to ENACT the bill because he first came up with an ironclad ALIBI and then had GOTTEN his henchmen to PUMMLE the reluctant alderman.”
