  1. Good Morning, Everyone. I hope this finds you well…

🔥 He KNELT to start a fire, hoping heat would CLING to branch,
While they’re off on this HIATUS…there’s things can’t be left to chance…
They settled on this SCENIC site, albeit quite remote,
They’re way out in the boondocks…we can tell from our guys quote
The key to solve the puzzle? It’s quite simple…there’s no trick…
“Long way back to the city”? …This camp’s way out …IN THE STICKS! 🔥

They seem to be pretty much alone…alDOE there is that little visitor peeking out from behind the tree…Let’s just hope things don’t get too inTENTS…and they end up with the short end of the STICK…Hoping you all enjoy your day. Be well, and stay safe…🔥🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🧍🏻She KNELT down IN THE STICKS to say goodbye to the little boy, and although she wanted to CLING to him, she knew she was already late to leave for the SCENIC HIATUS…🧍🏻

🏕 He tried to CLING to his old ways, he hated any change
So why he agreed to this trip, she thought it very strange…
His usual HIATUS brought him sand and surf and sun
She feared she’d find him KNELT in prayer soon as next day begun…
Yes here it was quite SCENIC, but a city boy’d get sick
To be stuck for a week or two way out here IN THE STICKS…🏕

  3. This Jumble contains an interesting word STICKS, which at least one dictionary says is derogatory. For a long time I thought the word was STYX, the river of the underworld. It is derived from English, meaning sticks on the ground. Sometimes out of the way places are associated with mountains instead. Another phrase that is derived from English is “from the HILLS”. If the word had been derived from Spanish, we would say he’s “from the MONTES”. If it had been derived from German, we would say “from the BERGS”. If from Finnish, he’s “from the VORIES”. From Arabic, “from the “ALJABERS”. From Russian, he would be “from the GORAS”. From Japanese, “from the YAMAS”. From Indonesian, “from the GUNUNGS”. From Tagalog in the Philippines, “from the BOONDOCKS”. Hey, that one is a real English word. It’s the same as from the STICKS.

      • Thank you Steve for that video. This young man that’s stuck in the 50s and 60s really enjoyed it. Never saw it before or heard their music and realize I’ve missed a lot by staying in my two dimensional decade. Take care.

        • Glad you liked it! (It’s never going to be enough repayment for reminding me about “Stranded In The Jungle”! 😂)

  4. Good morning. The only word I got instantly was cling. All the rest and even the cartoon answer took about the same time to sink in. Sticks and Stones may break my Bones but not this answer. I nailed it after finally realizing the hint was in the camper carrying the fire wood. Until tomorrow stay well.

    • Sticks and Stones may break your bones, but Jumbles never hurt,
Some days are way too easy, while with others thinking flirts…
Quotation marks were daunting…but look…now you’ve got them beat,
Well… not every day, but now at least you’re landing on your feet…
Just keep in mind it’s all a game…and whether solve or not…
You’re having fun, and that’s what counts…and shouldn’t be forgot!

Be well, Brooklyn…and stay safe out there! 😘🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Hiatus came to mind as I seemed to recall it being a recent anagram. The other words also seemed familiar, though the final collection of letters including only 2 vowels, one I for each word, was also problematic at first, but the first word ,being only 2 letters, had to be in,it,or at.The cartoon depicting a scene in the wilds, led to the final, in the sticks solution.

  6. It happened again. The puzzle that prints out doesn’t include the word “the”. The only thing that prints out is 2 words, the 1st word with 2 letters & the 2nd word with 6 letters, but no “the” indicated anywhere. Can’t this problem be corrected so that the puzzles have all the correct information to solve them? Thank you.

    • Good Morning, Barbara. I don’t know if you read my reply to you y’day, but please know that we here have nothing to do with any website that publishes the Jumble. I do know what you’re speaking of though… And the only help I can offer, is for you to contact the creator of the site you’re using. Voice your concern to them, and hopefully they can try and rectify the problem. And I do agree with you, that not having that connecting word can pose a problem. I wish I could help you more, but again, we here are not affiliated with any online puzzle publication. Be well, Barbara, and stay safe. 🔥🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Barbara…A follow-up for you. I reached out to David, and despite all he has on his plate, he was sweet enough to get right back to me. He’s contacted the powers that be, and hopefully something will be done to rectify the issue. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏻…And let’s hope for the best! 🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Good Morning I have been doing the jumble every morning since my 20’s and now in my 80’s so to me they are always easy

    • Brava, 👏🏻👏🏻 Carol! God bless you, and here’s 🍷 to many more years of puzzle pleasure! Be well, and stay safe! 🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Hi all – I just happened to see HIATUS – no idea why – and then SCENIC would have taken longer if I didn’t always try IC at the end first. The answer could have been ON THE GROUND, but once I wrote the letters and saw that IN was the first word it showed the correct one.

Yes Angela, I didn’t see the little deer until I looked online; then it was my favorite part of the cartoon (not that there was too much competition).

    Good wishes to everyone.

“Their HIATUS from work was spent at the SCENIC beach IN THE STICKS, where he tried to CLING to the sandstone cliffs while rock climbing, while she KNELT to marvel at the diversity of life in the tide pools.”

  9. Everything fell into place today so all in all in was an easy solve. Hope all of you have a good day.

  10. Thank You also Angela for your song video. It was another good one plus after that there was a video where Johnny Cash introduce Andy Kaufman who did an Elvis Presley impersonation that probably was the best ever. He had said he was his favorite of all. Take care.

    • Hey Paul…Sorry, but I’m a little lost here…I didn’t post a song video for you…I just left you a rhyme in answer to your Sticks and Stones comment…🤷🏻‍♀️
