Jumble Answers 
Good morning. Enjoyed it today because I had to think hard to get all the words outside of the first one. Wallop came instantly but I’d say the rest for me took equal time to achieve. The cartoon answer was simple once I wrote the letters down. I basically had it except for the first word. To all the Greeks out there HAPPY EASTER. Until tomorrow stay well.
Opposite for me was the first word “proper” was a given,quickly followed by “way” and then “to do it”. I usually have trouble with the Sunday puzzles ,because of the numerous letters,but not today.

It was a pretty easy Sunday for me, with Pelvis taking the longest and then Author.
I still have to check sometimes on the rules for capitalization, like south and the South.

Hi all – Well, the answer was an instant solve since it gave PROPER and the layout was what I thought. Any Elvis fan would get PELVIS, and the double letter trick twice gave me WETTER more quickly than otherwise. I wasn’t sure about WALLOP but went with it. (I once made my friends laugh when I said that I heard the David Bowie line “Come, get up my baby” as “Come wallop the baby.”) I had to back into the second word though. My first unscramble sounded like a pickup line from Yoda (“Hot, U are” 😂), but seeing the A and O showed AUTHOR.
I don’t think I even want to attempt a sentence including pelvis, wetter and puddle, so I’ll just send the usual good wishes to everyone.

They argued over whether or not using the word PELVIS in the Jumble could be looked upon as being in poor taste…was it WORTHY of the AUTHOR…but just like stepping in a PUDDLE, and the more you splash the WETTER you become…they were convinced that it might throw some readers for a WALLOP…and decided it wasn’t the PROPER WAY TO DO IT…
