  1. Like the old story about the guy wondering how his Saab got so rusty…He finally figured out that it must just be an oxidant…Brilliant pun! 👏🏻👏🏻Kudos, David. Be well, Everyone. Stay safe.🙏🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. Good morning. Nothing much to say except today was easy breezy from words to cartoon. Until tomorrow stay well.

  3. Good Morning, Everyone. Be well, stay safe. 🙏🏻🙋🏻‍♀️

🤷🏻‍♂️Tired of the same old SOB STORY, the Professor knew that if this perpetually TARDY student didn’t come out from under his hypothetical CANOPY of privilege, and learn even the most BASIC of skills, he’d have more than just GOSSIP to worry about…🤷🏻‍♂️

🧽 The man was always TARDY, and the talk began to grow,
And we all know how the GOSSIP is…a drip becomes a flow…
So deciding to confront him, they pulled up to his house,
And found him ‘neath a CANOPY, washing a woman’s blouse…
He had a washboard and a tub, the sweat upon his brow,
Embarrassed he told everyone he tried his best somehow…
But losing all his money and the BASIC needs to meet,
He started doing laundry till he got back on his feet…
And seeing him like this they thought …How fast one loses glory…
And they knew they had to help him after hearing his SOB STORY 🧽

  4. Good morning again jumble lovers. Here in NYC we have channel 4 NBC s today show that gives us their “morning boost” shots, well I have my own for those who do not read the paper every day. It seems that in the Country music world the late Kenny Rogers has reached the top # 1 spot on the country album chart. It reminded me of the time they showed the movie of the late Hank Williams Sr on TV. They had a huge rush on his albums in the music stores. I myself bought two of his albums then. Until tomorrow stay well.

  5. Hi Everyone –I had Tryad (triad) for the second word but was able to get the answer and find my mistake. Another playful Jumble.

  6. Each of the anagrams was an instant solve. Then it was obvious to me the solution was a “Sob story”, but there was no ‘o’. Even though cars are my thing, and the clue was Swedish in nature, it took me awhile to think of the old Swedish rust bucket, the Saab. As far as your comment on Kenny Rogers, definitely one of my favorites. To repeat my story, I had the pleasure of running into Kenny Rogers many years ago while visiting Niagra Falls, NY.

  7. I think as brilliant as today’s pun is, and IMO it’s excellent, it should be mentioned that for the readers out there who aren’t familiar with car brands, Saab would be a deal breaker. Just sayin’. 🤷🏻‍♀️

🚗 Going in for an inspection, being TARDY mattered none,
The things wrong with this car of his…believe me, it’s past done
A CANOPY could blanket it..as far as problems go…
Like GOSSIP spreads so does the rust…there is no ebb and flow
The BASIC things don’t matter…it goes way beyond the pale..
This guy’s stuck with a lemon…and he’s got nowhere to bail
Distraught he is, no matter what, but way gone is the jury…
Mechanic Mac’s grown real tired of hearing his SOB STORY…🚗

  8. Hi all – Well that was quick. The double letter trick showed GOSSIP and everything else was an instant solve.
My only memory of this car was when one drove by me and some friends long ago. One of them said “There goes a ‘Saybe’”, the other said “SAB”, and I said “SAHB” (I was right, of course 😂 )

I got a good laugh from the line in the voting panel.

Some details from the online cartoon – nice that there’s a Volvo next to the SAAB, the license plate is falling off, it looks like an old cash register in the background, and I don’t know what that is on the shelf above the tires. Also, the poor car’s original owner must have been Ingmar Bergman – there’s a big puddle of oil under it – it must have blown its Seventh Seal.

    Good wishes to everyone.

“The pilot was fired when he made the most BASIC of mistakes; making his flight TARDY because he and the co-pilot lost track of time trading GOSSIP about the flight attendants under the CANOPY.”

  9. Super easy one this morning. All the words and cartoon answer were instant solves. Hey, Angela and Caroline, did you hear that they’re making a Dr. Anthony Fauci Bobble Head? I love the fact that a nerd in a suit and tie is going to be up there with all those jocks. I’ve already ordered one for my son. They’ll be available in July. Stay well all.

  10. You should consider not using words with the letter y, as it almost always the last letter in the word.
