  1. I also thought stereo was a misspelled sortie ,but I did have a blind solve of the cartoon solution, restore it,and finally did get the stereo solve. My recollection is that stereo has stumped me before, but I did get it this morning.Let me apologize again, for my “dam slim” inappropriate solution yesterday,,rather than the correct dis-mall solution, sorry!

        • Hi Betty…LOL! Yes, I did too…hence my CHUCKle! 😂 Hope all is well with your children out there…🙏🏻 Stay safe…🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Same here Chuck, don’t edit yourself (*too* much) on our account! 😂 I’d rather have the laugh any day!

  2. Good morning. Somewhere out in the clouds is my almost finished post. It just disappeared on me. Had a heck of a time today with the words. Nothing was first glance solves. Mascot is my choice for hardest solve. I had a brain freeze today maybe it’s because I’m out of blueberries and strawberries. I’ll be darn if I pay the raised prices on those two. Have you noticed there has been no coupons lately and in the store I go to most times there hasn’t been anything on sale. I’d say they are making their money. Got sidetracked here. The cartoon answer was quickly done once I put down the letters. Until tomorrow stay well

    • Hey Paul. I don’t know if it might help, but Edible Arrangements is offering a box of fruit for $20 flat, no delivery fee. I ordered one last night, asked for a delivery today. The guy called me from outside, to let me know he was leaving the box, and I left him a tip in an envelope taped to the door. I didn’t have to sign anything…no contact was required by either of us. The box had 5 bananas, 2 oranges, 4 apples, a big bunch of red grapes, and a cantaloupe. Well worth it, IMO. Anyway, I just thought I’d let you know…Stay safe, Brooklyn…🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. Good Morning, Everyone! Stay safe…🙋🏻‍♀️

🐕‍🦺 Once he decided to keep the club’s old STEREO, he realized that he’d need to RESTORE IT, but he suddenly froze like a ROBOT…with a sense of RIGOR mortis, as he entered the club and it’s MASCOT attacked him…🐕‍🦺

🤷🏻‍♂️They now don’t have a MASCOT, they’ve gotten way too prim,
All sternness and all RIGOR…and it simply annoyed him…
Each one stiff as a ROBOT, their rules became too strict
    No STEREO, no dancing…every aspect…there’s restrict…
He needed lots of patience…it would take a lot of grit…
To bring morale back but he pledged that he would RESTORE IT 🤷🏻‍♂️

  4. …I thought it a little bit of a quirk that with an additional “R”, the letters of STEREO spelt out RESTORE.! 😉🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. My vote also goes to Mascot. I wasn’t close to solving it until I had the answer. I remembered Stereo – a toughie – from the past. Wishing all a great, safe day.

  6. I too have struggled with stereo in the past but not this morning. Able to get all of the anagrams and the cartoon answer without difficulty so all in all it was a successful start to the day. Hope it’s a good one for all of you. Take care.

  7. Hi all – A quick pause at RIGOR and ROBOT. MASCOT has stumped me often enough that I saw it. Not so for STEREO yet; I always see SORTEE, but the letters from the answer corrected me.

I see Jumble has discovered an alternate version from Joyce Kilmer’s all-night poetry slam basement tapes —- “OTREES, I know I’ll never see/A poem that can compare to thee”. Good thing he kept working on it.

    Good wishes to all.

“The space station’s ROBOT MASCOT got the android version of RIGOR mortis when the crew let it run out of oil, but a few hours’ work restored his STEREO vision.”

  8. Good job, Angela. We all have probably made that mistake sometime in our lives.. Wash your hands and, above all, stay well!

    • Hi Chuck…Wash my hands? The up side, I don’t have to worry about any of my past sins…my fingerprints have totally disintegrated by now! They’d never be able to identify me! 😂😂 And as for mistakes? Me?… Read above again!!! Hoping you’re staying well too, Chuck! Be safe…🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. Stereo???? That was not easy! Thanks again for keeping a’shelter in place’person entertained.

    • Hi Jane. I don’t know where you are, but I think we’re all sheltered in place by now. I’m in NY….But you’re right, we need all the entertainment we can get. Thank God for TV, and puzzles…and the internet. We’re never “really” alone…Be well, Jane…and stay safe. 😘🙋🏻‍♀️

  10. Been doing these for many years! I get each word within 2-5 seconds and solve the answer in 5-10 seconds -both at my wonderful, relaxing casual style!

  11. Love the jumble. Can’t start my day without it. Successfully finished but had no idea what the card was. She wasn’t dressed for dancing and I’ve never touched a sim card but take tons of photos. By the way tortes aren’t tiered.

    • Hi Rochelle. The card really had nothing to do with the puzzles solution. It was just dialogue used to explain why she was asking them to hold up for the moment. And what Steve said about the dancing was joking… I too immediately thought about that..the “dance card being full”. 😉 He and I think alike a lot of the time. LOL, But, again, dancing wasn’t a factor either. There were a few things in the puzzle that unfortunately threw people off today….whether intentional or not. I mentioned above how the wedding itself wasn’t really key to the solve either. Bottom line, Rochelle..it is a great pun…albeit a bit confusing. The torte? That was just Mike making a “cake” pun. As broad as the puzzle! And just as clever!!! 😂😂. And kudos to you for finishing the puzzle! Be well…stay safe! 🍰🙋🏻‍♀️

    • Rochelle..I just realized that you commented on y’day’s page. So my saying…”I mentioned above” doesn’t hold true. Whatever conversation went on today is of course, on today’s page. 🙋🏻‍♀️
