Good Morning, Everyone!
🥃  🥃   WHEN B-NEGATIVE….ISN’T JUST A BLOOD TYPE…🥃  🥃

🎶 Mr. KNOW IT ALL…Well ya think you KNOW IT ALL,  but ya don’t know a thing at all..Ain’t it something y’all…When somebody tells you something ‘bout you…Think that they know you more than you do….So you take it down, another pill to swallow…Can’t nobody tell me how it’s gonna be…Nobody gonna make a fool out of me, Baby you should know that I lead not follow..🎶  “Mr. Know It All” – Kelly Clarkson  2011

🥃 The optimist, the pessimist…half-empty and half-full,
The ideas that are LOFTY and the ones seeming dreadful…
We all have an AGENDA, and we feel our INPUT counts,
But this guy we’re seeing here today thinks his is paramount…
We live life like a SAILOR, we tread the waters deep,
The idea is to sink or swim…to bail out or to keep…
But there are those who go thru life under a shroud of pall…
No matter what the others say…they’re the one “NO” IT ALL 🥃

That age-old proverbial phrase…Half-empty, half-full. You ever think about that glass thoughI do. Must be pretty worn out by now, right? …That’s a lot of fingerprints over the years…But you know what I really always think of? What about the middleof-the-roaders? You no, the grays? The it’s not all whites and the it’s not all blacks? What are we called? I mean, I no I don’t go thru life with a smile permanently plastered on my face…I’d be a piece of mahogany…But then again, I don’t walk around Ms. Gloom and Doom either…I’m in the middle. And it’s not like I refuse to choose sides…I can commit when I have to…I just don’t think life’s litmus test is all that cut and dry…IDK…Maybe it’s because I’m claustrophobic…who knows. But I just feel that that wiggly room is important…And I drink to that…

But today we’re drinking from the fountain of sooth. With a man who thinks his is the only one. Negative Nick. My Way or the Highway Ray. Pessimistic Pete…I got a million of ‘em, and I could go on forever…but you already no that, don’t you? LOL! Ok, I’ll spare you…and just tell you what’s up with our puzzle today. The words? They’re all old…she said pessimistically, but the anagrams? They’re all new…she said optimistically…See? I told you I could commit if I had to! And it’s AGENDA (that goes back the farthest – 2011), and SAILOR, that caused the Early Birds to blink. Not drink…just blink…

So, today we find ourselves sitting in an office, looking in on four Jumble co-workers.   And as is all too often the case, there’s always that one guy (or gal..we’re EEO here), who’s so quick to dismiss the others, because he NOs best. He may be the Head Honcho, (because it seems like the gentleman at left is deferring to his judgement), plus he’s the only one all buttoned up in a suit. But whatever part he plays in this office scenario, the general consensus is that he’s not only so negative, but he’s smug to boot…And nobody likes the smug to boot, am I right? Shoet..no, we don’t…And even though this guys opinion about noing a better way to do things may amount to nothing more than a can’t of beans…he’s still thinks he’s a big “NO” IT ALL…and it positively annoys everyone else…

Eye candy? I like mild-mannered Hopeful Harry at left, mainly because he seems to be a southpaw…and I find the thumbs down gesture that our man of the scour is using positively adorable…But what had me adjusting my glasses to get a closer look this morning? It’s the wording…NEGATIVE. It’s in our dialogue, and it’s also in our question…And isn’t that usually a NO-NO? So, There you have it Folks, Done. Have a great day, Everyone! And I’ll leave you with a little food for thought…(or naught)…🥃🙋🏻‍♀️

Between an optimist and a pessimist, the difference is usually droll. The optimist sees the donut, but the pessimist sees the hole..🍩

  1. ⚓️ Not professing to “NO” IT ALL, but ever resentful of the “drunken SAILOR” persona, he hoped his AGENDA of LOFTY ideas would serve as positive INPUT regarding the image of the servicemen…⚓️

👨🏻‍✈️ She had a strange career goal, an AGENDA so to speak,
She was out to get a serviceman, to have and hold and keep…
A soldier or a SAILOR, either one would surely do,
(Although she really loved the look of men in navy blue)…
She gathered all her INPUT, LOFTY thoughts she had compiled,
And set out on a mission, looking for the man she styled…
And despite flack that came her way from those who said she’d fall…
Determination drove her, she was dubbed Mz “NO” IT ALL 👨🏻‍✈️

  2. Hi Everyone – Though we’ve seen it before, Sailor, which I had to back into, gets my vote. Agenda seems familiar to me, but I’m probably thinking of a similar word. Like you, Angela, I wouldn’t call myself an optimist or pessimist, though I do worry about some things that don’t seem to bother other people.

    • Good Morning, Caroline. We have had Agenda pretty recently, well last June to be exact. And Sailor goes further back to 02/28/19. But they’re both masterfully anagrammed today. The worry? I think I worry about worrying…it’s just my nature. But I do find that keeping “that” glass FULL does often help! 😂😂 Wishing you a wonderful day, Caroline! I’m planning to eat, DRINK and be merry…and not worry about anything today, 🤞🏻 because tomorrow starts Lent. Tonight we celebrate Carnevale, and I’ve been cooking since 5 o’clock…I hope I get through it in one piece! 😉🥃🙋🏻‍♀️

        • Thank you, Caroline. Growing up, my Mom always did raviolis, so I keep with Her tradition. And they’re easy, because I don’t have to “make” them I just buy them fresh. I started my gravy (sauce)😉 early…with all the meats, and I’m using it for chicken and eggplant parm also. I’m almost done with both. And in a while I’m starting some rice balls and sausage and peppers. And I do an antipasto too. A lot of food, I know…but if there’s leftovers, I enjoy them even more. But that’s a big IF…😉 And I’ve already eaten some meatballs, and a few chunks of provolone and mozzarella! …I’m full already! 😉🙋🏻‍♀️

  3. Good morning. I thought I had all the words correct but when I double checked the last word I had as Gander it came back as Agenda, so like Caroline, that is my choice for hardest word. The cartoon answer was a breeze with so few letters to get an answer. Angela I commend you on your choice of songs and being the Queen of puns. It amazes me how you come up with a song every day to fit the drawing. Until tomorrow stay well

    • Good Morning, Brooklyn! Gander? “R” you sure? 😉 It had my friends going too…great anagram. And Thank you so much for the Shout Out…You’re such a Sweetheart. The music? IDK myself sometimes…my head’s just full of music…ALL the time. Always has been. Music and rhymes…Gets a little annoying at times too! 😂 Have a great day, Paul. Enjoy tonight…tomorrow we repent! 🥃🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. From his LOFTY perch in the “crow’s nest” the SAILOR was thinking about the ship’s AGENDA for the rest of the day and whether he might have some INPUT into same.

    • I like the “crow’s nest”. I don’t think most people are familiar with that….👏🏻👏🏻 Good Morning, Chuck. 👏🏻👏🏻 Well played! Especially since the word SAILOR is somewhat limiting, Hope your morning’s going well. Have a great day! ⚓️🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. No problem with the anagrams or puzzle answer this morning. “As you go through life, let this be your goal: Keep your eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole”. Wishing all of you a positive day.

    • …And I’m almost positive that I’ve never met a donut that I didn’t like! 😉 Good Morning, Betty. Have a great day! 🍩🙋🏻‍♀️

        • 👏🏻👏🏻I’m a big fan of jelly! 😉 Thanks, Betty, Happy (Carnevale)..Mardi Gras to you also! Cento Anni! Enjoy! 🍷🙋🏻‍♀️

    • ROTFL! Chuck…That’s pretty optimistic of you! You gave me a good laugh, although I think you may be alone with this one!..😉 But thanks for thinking of me! 🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Hi all – My only problem was with SAILOR. I know we’re seen it before, but I saw SOLAR first and tried other combos.

Have a great day everyone, especially you Angela and all the others celebrating! It all sounds delicious.

“The SAILOR had LOFTY goals, so first on his AGENDA was getting INPUT from the experts to achieve them safely”

Song from the ceiling at Peet’s this morning; “Time of the Season” by The Zombies.

    • Thanks, Steve. I’m looking forward to it…Nice sentence 👏🏻👏🏻…but how limiting was Sailor, right? KNOT the most versatile of words! 😉 Have a great day, Steve! ⚓️🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Agenda was no problem for me,but sailor looked like anything but sailor.I guess I’m more of an army/ marine soldier, rather than a navy man.Enjoy your Shrove Tuesday.

    • Hi Professor. As I mentioned earlier, it was a well done anagram to conceal such a common word. Made for a nice little challenge! Thanks for the well wishes, and I hope you enjoy yours also. Have a good one, Prof! 🥃😉

    • Good evening. Being an old swab,I saw sailor right away. An enjoyable time was in Gitmo watching the Marines dig the fox holes for us Navy guys if Castro’s men over ran the base on Easter Sunday in 1961. Thank God it never happened. Rumor had it that we would lose the base in a mater of hours but would retake it back within the next day. It was my understanding that Castro made a number of threats on the base. I have them on 8mm film. I missed a big brawl between the marines and Navy guys at the outdoor movie where there was over twenty guys that went to the hospital because I was still working in the mess hall. There was just a few guys from our squadron that was involved. Take care.

      • Hey Brooklyn….Great story! I know I told you when I first met you on here, that you need to write all your stories down…you’ve a treasure trove! Have a good one…⚓️🙋🏻‍♀️
