  1. 🟤 Late summer 2018, the Jumble gave us two…
And Frisbee Golf was new to some…def me and maybe you
The idea that you flung a disc and hoped it didn’t CLUNK,
I really thought it was a joke…some whimsy with some bunk
But here’s a sport where RADIUS blends in with something SPEEDY,
    The RATIO of far-flung shots…precision outranks greedy…
But I remember most of all some readers out in force
Who thought the puzzle “One Last Fling” warranted some DISCOURSE! 🟤

Back on August 21st, ’18, https://tinyurl.com/rmd6w46 when the Jumble first THREW Frisbee Golf at us, I remember thinking…”C’mon…what is this “FAR-FLUNG” cockamamie idea? No such thing…But when I looked it up, to my DISCbelief…there it was. And then exactly two weeks later, on September 4th, https://tinyurl.com/rbm7m8d it whizzed by us again. Only that day, if you remember, the man and woman playing were…PLAYING aROUND! (“ONE LAST FLING”). And it made for some interesting conversation, since some readers found it a little cringe-worthy. But let’s be honest, the Jumble, being art, does imitate life…and we all know there’s plenty of people out there having FLINGS. Just sayin’…Not judging, nor CASTING stones…No pun intended, of COURSE! Have a great day, Everyone…And check out our male player…Wearing socks with sandals? You want to talk cringe-worthy? 🟤🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🤷🏻‍♀️When the Professor began his DISCOURSE concerning what is the RATIO of circumference to RADIUS, she felt a CLUNK-like sound go off in her head…and knew she’d never come up with a SPEEDY solution…🤷🏻‍♀️

  3. Good morning. Another successful completion on both ends but I had to stay the course and go back a couple of times to finally solve the answer on the cartoon. Until tomorrow stay well.

    • Hey Brooklyn…The solve to this one was all in DISCovering what they held in their hands…😉 The clue’s always hidden in the drawing! But I’m glad you stayed the COURSE! Hope you’re having a good one, Paul! 🟤🙋🏻‍♀️

  4. A great math related puzzle with ratio and radius in the anagrams.Yes disc golf is a real thing, and a lot cheaper than real golf where you need a lot of balls and expensive clubs.

  5. Radius had me stumped until I got the answer and the letters I and S, which helped me see the ius ending.

    • Hi Caroline..You’re not alone…Radius is definitely LINING up to be the stumper of the day! So far we’ve dodged another bullet down here…snow wise. Hope you fared the same…Have a great day! 🟤🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Hi all – The double letter trick and Y at the end gave a SPEEDY solve. RADIUS took me the longest. It reminded me of HIATUS. When I looked at the cartoon I thought “He could be teaching a ‘golf course’ “, so I had to laugh when I wrote the letters and saw the answer.

    Have a great day, everyone!

“The RATIO of the racecar tire’s width to RADIUS made it more SPEEDY, but the wheel’s CLUNK going around sharp turns was an ominous sign.”

  7. I first learned of Frisbee Golf here at Jumble. Paused a ratio which I believe has tripped me up in the past. However, all in all it was an easy solve today. Have a good day all.

    • Hey Betty. Frisbee Golf! Same with me. It’s amazing what we can learn just from doing a puzzle…Who knew! And yes, easy, breezy! Hope your days going well. Enjoy! 🟤🙋🏻‍♀️
