THE CAT GAVE BIRTH TO A HUGE LITTER, AND SHE LOVED THE WHOLE – – –

KNA   DIT   COLE   OBET  = “KITTEN” CABOODLE

Good Morning, Everyone!       🐱 PURR-FECTLY PLEASED!🐱

🎶 What’s new PUSSYCAT, whoa…What’s new PUSSYCAT, whoa oh…PUSSYCAT, PUSSYCAT I’ve got flowers and lots of hours to spend time with you, so go and powder your cute little PUSSYCAT nose…PUSSYCAT, PUSSYCAT, I love you, yes I do…You and your PUSSYCAT nose… 🎶 “What’s New Pussycat” – Sir Tom Jones 1965

🐱 Kittens, Kittens, everywhere…impossible to DITCH,
Delivery went very well, came off without a hitch.
The issue now is what to do…where will these kittens go?
A COUPLE here, a couple there…before the kittens grow.
Tiny to fit a GOBLET now, but soon this new born kindle,
Will most likely leave Mama and we’ll see the numbers dwindle…
And hopefully the owners have the KNACK to place them well,
So the kittens will go on to have a good home where to dwell.
No longer needing Mother’s milk, no worry ’cause the food’ll…
Come from a can and that’ll be a whole new “KITTEN” CABOODLE!🐱

So, as our work week draws to an close, we’re going out with what looks like another new Jumble word: GOBLET. DITCH comes in as our newest entry, with a play date of 10/20/18 , while both KNACK and COUPLE STRETCH back in time to 2012. And it was GOBLET, the “new-born”, that caused the slightest PAWS with 2 of the Early Birds this morning. So…now that we’ve SCRATCHED the surface, let’s get down to the KITTY gritty…

Like me, today Jeff had to bite the bullet. David has presented us with CATS. Not that there’s anything wrong with that…It’s just that some people are Cat people, and some people don’t exactly care FUR them. So suffice to say I’m not really FELINE our puzzle today, since I’m not one to be smitten with KITTENS. So if I get any of this wrong, I’m sure you’ll help MEOWt, beCLAWS I didn’t do any research. Let’s face it Folks, you know how it is. You Google something and the next thing you know you’re inundated with tons of “like-minded” spam. And believe me, I have enough LITTER showing up in my mailbox as it is…But here goes. Today we see a Mother Cat as the PURRpatrator of our theme. (Ok, maybe that’s too harsh a word…but oh, what a pun)! Having just given birth to five tiny KITTENS, we see her looking a little weary, but definitely not appearing to be a sourPUSS. In fact, quite the opposite. Obviously a well cared FUR house Cat, we see Miss Kitty lying in a plush green Cat bed, surrounded by her new borns. Being a Calico Cat, she’s given birth to two yellow and three cream colored little ones. And instead of considering quintuplets to be a   CATastrophe, she’s seen PURRing that they’re all so SWEET. And this much I do know…Calico Cats are known for being warm, SWEET and affectionate by nature. I remember a Cat-lover telling me that once. But this has me thinking…Either someone told Jeff too, or he HAD to do the research, beCLAWS we all know how he strives  FUR PURRfection with his dialogue…So, with all this warm and FUZZY feeling in mind, in answer to our question? Miss Kitty loved the whole…”KITTEN” CABOODLE. Clever, David. And once again, you Sir are definitely in the CATbird seat!

Ok, eye candy. There’s really no hidden deTAILS today. We see two kittens, one yellow striped, one cream, feeding, next to the only smiling kitty, (looking like the CAT that ate the canary)! a cream striped one. Another cream striped one is lying atop Miss Kitty, looking a little lost…and a yellow one looking up at her mother,  a little bewildered with its tongue out, is enfolded within her front legs. And as I mentioned earlier, there’s Miss Kitty looking a tad FURlorn,  although I’m PAWSitive she’s not. So, what to CHEWS, what to CHEWS..? Hmm…I just don’t know. Would it be so bad if I FURfeited today? Would anyone think it’s beCLAWS of how I feel about Cats? That I’ve got a bad CATtitude? No, that’s prePAWsterous, you all know me better than that. I’m definitely not CATTY…and it’s nothing PURRsonal…it’s just that there’s nothing catching my eye. But I will leave you with a little something. Yesterday, in my 4:19 PM reply to one of our readers, Steve, who mentioned that the broken shelves should be blamed on the cat? I used his cat reference to say that I tried to get as many book titles into my post as possible..”until the whole KITTEN Caboodle started to hurt“! I’m not KITTEN! MEOW‘s that for a coincidence? It’s HISSterical!  And if we didn’t know that these puzzles are submitted weeks in advance? I’d say that David was being a copyCAT! LITTERally! So, There you have it Folks, Done! Have a great day, Everyone! And may it be a PURRfectiy wonderful one! 🐱🙋🏻

  1. Good morning. Simple jumble this morning. The words were first glance looks. We expect this kind to be on a Monday. The cartoon answer was achieved in the same manner. I hardly ever look at it until I have all the letters down. Once the letters were down and I looked at the picture, the answer was a no brainer. Even though the first word was in quotation marks,it was clear it was a take off of Kit and Caboodle. That phrase was heard many times growing up. Until tomorrow stay well.

  2. Good Morning, Brooklyn…I think we posted at exactly the same time! Yep, we got a gift today, easy, breezy. And as for the phrase! LOL! I heard it a lot too growing up…In fact,..well read the post! Have a great day, Brooklyn…and get that Bocce game in early, it’s gonna be a hot one! 🐱🙋🏻

  3. Hi Everyone –
So cute and funny! I had to look up the spelling of caboodle and back into GOBLET.
I got a big kick out of the kitten with the smile and the other with its tongue out, which made me think they had just finished nursing.
Feline and beclaws were my favorites today, though you had many good ones, Angela, even though you are not a cat person (nor am I).

    • Good Morning, Caroline. And thank you. I tried! But it really was a STRETCH! 😂 Like you, Cats just aren’t a FURvarite of mine, but I agree, the puzzle was a cute and clever one. Hoping you have a wonderful day, Caroline! Stay cool! 🐱🙋🏻

  4. Good morning again. Yea Angela we missed each other in passing. When I first started your spot was blank. Loved your post From the use of the words to your enjoyable song choice. The big guy had sex appeal. After one of his performances,he could open up a lingerie shop from all the panties thrown at him. He was a pleasure to watch and listen to with such a dynamic voice. Stay safe out there.

    • And Good Morning again to you too, Sunshine! Sir Tom? Oh yea, he was definitely the whole package! 😉 And you know something? He’s still looking good …at 79! 79! I saw him not too long ago on some music show, and even though the heart doesn’t skip a beat anymore…there still was a tiny flutter! 😂😂 And thanks for the Shout Out Brooklyn, you know I’m always happy when I can make you smile …like the Cheshire CAT! Enjoy the day! …And wear a hat! 😉🐱🙋🏻

  5. The words came easy, goblet a few seconds later, the answer too. I am, & have always been, a cat person. Also say – dog person wants attention, cat person gives it. Hadn’t heard expression since child. Good morning, all! Starting weekend in a good way.

    • Good Morning, Jamu. CATS as CATS can, I always say! 😉 And yes, it’s definitely an easy, breezy go of it today…(hey, that rhymes)! 😉 Wishing you a good one, Jamu. Enjoy! 🐱🙋🏻

  6. Because the COUPLE had a KNACK to DITCH the little details, they had all their friends and neighbors believing that the GOBLET in their culinary cupboard was over two hundred years old.

    • Good Morning, Chuck! I applaud the creativity! 👏🏻👏🏻…(And I hope you won’t mind that I took the liberty)! 😉…Here’s to a good one! 🍷🙋🏻

  7. Here’s my LITTERary contribution for the day…🙋🏻

° The COUPLE decided to DITCH their plans to attend the wine-making class, since neither of them really had a KNACK for it, and besides they found out that they each had to purchase a GOBLET…the whole KIT AND CABOODLE wasn’t worth it…

° He gave her a wine GOBLET, engraved with both their names,
A real romantic gesture, and she was one of those dames…
Who liked a little thing like that, and this guy had a KNACK,
For doing things like this…which made him score the inside track.
They made a real cute COUPLE…hit it off without a hitch…
And people said they hoped it’d work..cause she was quick to DITCH.
She’d left so many others lying lost like a drained noodle…
The family hoped that this time it’s a true KIT AND CABOODLE

  8. Easy, breezy with a slight “paws” at goblet. Not a blind solve, per se, but had the answer by the time I had written all of the letters down.

    • Good Morning, John. . 👏🏻👏🏻 Yes, there seems to be quite a few PAWSes with this word today.. I keep thinking it’s Thanksgiving! Get it? 😉 🍷🙋🏻

  9. I too had to pause at goblet, but the kitten caboodle solution was a given. We’ve had an occasional cat or kitten in the past and our daughter has several cats, and gave one of her kittens to her brother, Greg, and Marla and her sister,Alice, loves little Gerald.Ironically there was a lady in the news who was fined for having 31 cats in Hannibal,Mo where the law restricts the number of cats per household to only 3.

    • Good Morning, Professor. The GOBLETs are truly full today! 31 cats? OMG! FUR the love of everything holy, I just can’t even fathom..😷 .Anyway….Hope your days going well. Enjoy! 🐱🙋🏻

  10. Hi all – Like yesterday, only one word, GOBLET, took a few extra looks. The rest and the answer were quick.

I can’t improve on the sentences or observations, so I’ll just wish you all a great weekend! I have some morning obligations coming up, so I’ll be off a couple of days. See you back here probably Monday or Tuesday.

    • Same to you, Steve. ..And did you catch my KITTEN Caboodle reply to you yday? 😉🙋🏻

      • Pretty amazing coincidence, eh? I just read it yesterday but had no reason to take extra note of it. 🙋🏻‍♂️

        • SMH 😂😂 Now I think I’m missing something! 😂 I just thought it was really weird that I used the phrase KITTEN Caboodle yday, and here it shows up today….Maybe I’m SCRATCHING up the wrong POST! 😂🙋🏻

      • Oh, you mean with the cat at the base of the shelves. I think I missed it then, and now also! (Duh) 😂🙋🏻‍♂️

  11. I hadn’t read the Tom Jones reference, I remember that another singer also received underwear applause, but not the name HELP!?
