  1. While the detective was trying to FERRET out exactly what happened, he sensed the prime suspect was trying to JOSTLE him as his (suspect) attitude became ICIER when he began to STRUM his fingers on the table.

        • “Stop the World..I Want to Get Off”! πŸ˜‚ Hi, Chuck…You’re very welcome.Great sentence…πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ™‹πŸ»

  2. Good morning to all as we are now in BIZARRO world. The leaders left it up to us to steer the ship to its conclusion. I myself took Easter off as mass was stretched an extra 40 minutes and I had places to go and family to see. Right after this I’ll tackle yesterday’s jumble. Today’s was harder than usual. ICIER is not a word you use often which caused me to seek its spelling. You look it up and it comes up icy. After playing around I came up with its usage in sentences. The cartoon answer was an almost blind solve. Another fine day. And speaking of DAY. Happy EARTH DAY. Until tomorrow stay well.

  3. Good Morning, Everyone! Chuck…For you…

Β° After his FIRST COURSE that day, he hoped to earn some extra money, and decided to JOSTLE himself a spot near the Train Station and STRUM his guitar…but as the streets became ICIER, a woman who stopped to FERRET through her bag for change slipped and fell…

    • Two different directions we took, Angela! I think they’re both pretty good. GET SOME REST…

      • Today, two really different slants…although we both went with FERRET as the verb! Hope you’re enjoying your night! πŸ™‹πŸ»

  4. Hi all – After putting β€˜IC’ at the end didn’t work, it dawned on me that the first word must be a variation of ICE – seems like we’ve had those before, which always causes us to say β€˜ICK’ and dismiss the correct answer.
I also think that STRUM has reminded me before of the German and SJ Shark hockey player Marco STURM, and β€œSturm und Drang”.

My only thought on the cartoon is that the poor bald guy is already having a bad day – to make him wear a hairnet is just adding insult to injury.

    Have a great day, everyone!

Angela, I guess when Peet’s was playing Jackie Wilson the other morning, you could say it perked me up!

  5. Just got home from the Easter weekend and to my Monday paper.4 anagrams were little problem, except for icier that looked strange.First came first followed quickly by course.

  6. Good evening late nighters. Just sitting here a little bored and watching the Mets who are ahead and decided to tackle Sunday’s Jumble besides. Took a little time to get three words that I could swear I had them in my thought process but never applied to paper. By the time I committed to actually doing it I had forgotten everything. The cartoon answer was a different story. After writing down the letters I noticed Family for the first word and the second word followed right away. Till tomorrow take care.

    • Hey Brooklyn…I’m watching too, let’s hope they stay ahead…Good news today about Kranepool getting a kidney donor, right? He’s such a Sweetheart…he made a joke about the person maybe being a Yankee fan…Yday’s puzzle was pretty good considering it was a Sunday..the answer was a gift..Here’s to the Met’s pulling it off…Have a good night, Brooklyn! πŸ»βšΎοΈπŸ™‹πŸ»

      • Thanks Angela. Didn’t know that about Krandpool. That was good news. I hope both will be alright. See you back tomorrow. This is rare for me to say this but I hope the Yankees beat Harvey tonight. I’d love to see wonder boy get hit real hard.

        • ROTFL!!! My friends are vacationing out there, and they’re at the game….We were just now FaceTiming, and they’re saying the exact thing! Seems like we all feel the same way about Harvey now! πŸ˜‚ Yea, Kranepool’s operation is slated for May 7th…I’m really happy for him..So, the Mets came thru..,I think I’ll watch the rest of the Yanks…Have a good one, Brooklyn…Pleasant dreams! βšΎοΈπŸ™‹πŸ»
